Due November 2019 Thread 3

Ladies can I ask whether anyone has still has some cramping. Still very early 4w+5 had some cramping around 4wk which I assume was AF coming! However since I got the bfp I've had cramping quite a bit. It isn't so much painful but feels like a pulled muscle right across the top of my uterus

dottydally · 23/03/2019 15:50

Just placemarking on the new thread! I'm due mid November but I'm not entirely sure when as my cycles are 34 days rather than 28. I did a CB this afternoon and got a 3+ so I'm happy! Finally stepping away from the tests as I must have done 8 now Blush

Mintypea5 · 23/03/2019 16:02

@Littleseed we're ok this morning! I've just been hosting my eldest 7th birthday party. Lots of hyper 7 yr old boys running around Confused I'm knackered!! Glad your midwife was able to reassure you a bit

Hello, welcome and congratulations to everyone.

MindyMoonstone · 23/03/2019 16:06

@wombatsteafortea I am 4+4 and have had cramping every day since BFP. It’s not constant, comes and goes but it is uncomfortable and worrying. Sometimes feels like cramping, sometimes twinges or pulls in certain spots, and some of it is actually down to being extra windy Blush

My mom, google, etc say it’s completely normal so try not to stress :) x

WombatStewForTea · 23/03/2019 16:12

@MindyMoonstone I'm extra gassy too! Sometimes it also feels like trapped wind. All very odd but I'm slightly relieved I'm not the only one!

MindyMoonstone · 23/03/2019 16:24

@wombatstewfortea me too!!! It’s all good and well reading that it’s normal but so reassuring that we are in the same boat x

Avf88 · 23/03/2019 16:28

How has everyone’s OH taken to to the news? Our baby is a bit of a shock and I’m still not convinced the news has gone down well

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 16:34

@CherryVanilla7 congrats!! I'm due 21st. Exciting times Thanks

@tigsyboo love the mug lol! 🐶🐶

I'll be going on holiday to Corfu when I'm 25 weeks pregnant. Anyone ever travelled when pregnant or doing the same??

AcatcalledGary · 23/03/2019 16:45

@FirstTimeMama91 yes we are going to Canada and then Ireland in August when I’ll be in the late 20s (I think we fly out when I’m 26 and come back in 30th week). I’ve akready checked with airlines and should be ok to fly but worried already about travel insurance. Think covering yourself is straight forward but not the unborn child. I read an article about an Australian couple on holiday in Canada. She gave birth prematurely at 27 weeks and the medical bills for the baby were in the millions.

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 16:47

@AcatcalledGary omg that's crazy. Will definitely check out the insurance!

AcatcalledGary · 23/03/2019 16:47

Avf88 DH is so laid back. Ours was planned but it’s like he doesn’t really get it yet. Even today with my scare (bleeding and pain) he is just telling me to chill. So glad he is like that tho because he keeps me sane, I’m a natural worrier.

AcatcalledGary · 23/03/2019 16:48

@FirstTimeMama91 let me know if you find anything please x

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 17:21

@AcatcalledGary will do x

Mintypea5 · 23/03/2019 17:21

We're going to Monaco for DH 30th I think I'll be about 16 weeks then. Luckily I have some lovely maxi sun dresses from when I was pregnant last year.

My DH is very excited. He wants lots of kids but i think 3 will be enough (mu eldest from previous relationship. Our DS (9 months) and hopefully this baby

Aph413 · 23/03/2019 17:22

If you google pregnancy travel insurance there are loads that cover up to 40 weeks including premature labour abroad

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 17:28

Cramps are causing so much anxiety today. No bleeding touch wood just so stressful. I thought the TWW was bad enough lol these weeks are so worrying

Mintypea5 · 23/03/2019 17:59

@FirstTimeMama91 pregnancy is so stressful! Try have a nice relaxing evening. Maybe try a hot water bottle for the cramps

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 18:20

@Mintypea5 thanks I will do x Thanks

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 23/03/2019 18:29

Wombats The cramping is very normal. I’m 7+2 and have had it every day for the past 4 weeks Sad.

FirstTimeMama - I flew to Corfu when I was 26 weeks pregnant with DS. It was absolutely fine. We were silly and just went with standard travel insurance. This time short haul in 2 months’ time and then we’re flying to the other side of the world when I’m 29 weeks Sad. I’m VERY nervous and will need to make sure we have some good insurance in place.

TrashKitten10 · 23/03/2019 18:30

@tigsyboo That is a fabulously beige dinner! 😂

Prequelle · 23/03/2019 18:35

I have had a creme egg Easter egg for my meal today. Oops

FirstTimeMama91 · 23/03/2019 18:35

@TheGruffalosLoveChild that's good to know thanks!

Awk you'll be fine Thanks those few extra weeks hopefully don't make too much difference for you. Maybe you'll sleep on the flight lol! All we do is worry worry worry
