@Lozzlepop Exciting times!!
I have my booking in appointment on the 17th April and then my 12 week scan on the 7th May.

I really can't wait to see an actual baby with arms and legs!

Lozzlepop · 09/04/2019 09:58

@Pollypocket5 oh wow do you have your scan date already thats amazing!! When did you get that though (I assume it comes by post?) I know DP asked last night if it has arms and legs but I told him not yet, cannot wait for the 12 week scan 😀which I am guessing will be the week after yours hopefully 🤞🏻

thumper59 · 09/04/2019 10:03

Morning everyone hope your well, my boobs have stopped hurting but the dizziness is unreal today!

@Lozzlepop they booked my 12 week scan at my booking in apt 😊

Pollypocket5 · 09/04/2019 10:07

@Lozzlepop They booked my scan in as soon as I called to register with the midwife and it came through the post. It was crazy at how quick they arranged that. I got that appointment before my midwife app.

I know I'm so excited. Just want to reach the 12 week scan and hopefully can start enjoying it a bit more.

Lozzlepop · 09/04/2019 10:15

@thumper59 oh no are you ok? I don't like the sound of dizziness, oh amazing that would be exciting!

@Pollypocket5 really? wow thats super fast and efficient- crazy how much it all varies. Me too although my friends say its just the start of worrying over them for the rest of their lives lol we cant win!

Well today brings a new low- I have managed to burst my trousers, have no idea how its happened 🤷🏽‍♀️they are quite new, and haven't been worn much, maybe my ass has gotten bigger 😂

thumper59 · 09/04/2019 11:50

@Lozzlepop I am fine in myself Thankyou! Just a bit faint and dizzy this week. Think baby is robbing me of all my red blood cells!

Aw it is so exciting, are you excited for your early scan? I am more then ready for our 12 week now! Just want to know baby is all good!

Lozzlepop · 09/04/2019 16:52

@thumper59 good stuff I am glad to hear it! Yeah I am starting to get really excited, I have never known the time to go so slow in my life 😂I'm hoping if i have worked the dates out correctly we should have less than 4 weeks to wait for our 12 week scan after having our private one 😁can't wait to start telling people!

JoJoSaysHello · 09/04/2019 17:04

I treated myself to a pair of under the bump bloat maternity trousers and wore them to work today. I know it's very early to do so and they are slightly big, but I felt so free!!!! No more constricted waist!! Until tomorrow as I only have one pair so far and I probably can't wear them all week Hmm

Mintypea5 · 09/04/2019 19:42

How are you feeling now @thumper59

We get our scans after booking in but they usually arrange them pretty fast.

Day two properly back at work and I'm more tired than I could believe possible! My back aches and my sciatica has started playing up. Might as well re name me moaning myrtle tonight

L0ULEW · 10/04/2019 07:54

@JoJoSaysHello OMG I'm so glad someone has done this, I've been debating treating myself too. I can't do my trousers up any more :(

@Lozzlepop I had my first midwife appointment last Tuesday and I had my 12 week scan date through the post this Monday. Guess depends where you live but was fairly quick

Lozzlepop · 10/04/2019 08:36

@JoJoSaysHello this sounds like a tremendous idea, where did you get yours from? I’m in a dress and tights today but if I wear trousers the afternoon is a struggle 🙈 last night I put my pj bottoms on as soon as I got home which is unheard of

@L0ULEW wow that’s super quick! Fingers crossed they are as quick here but somehow I doubt it as there’s just the one hospital for the whole region 😒

Feeling less sick today, maybe because I ate something before I left but my sickness is almost comforting as it makes me think things are happening in there 👶🏻

Smiffette · 10/04/2019 09:24

My booking appt was 2nd April, scan date came on the 6th April and is booked for the 24th April when I'll be 12+2. 2 weeks today and it can't come quick enough!

Just anxiously waiting now to make sure everything is ok!

I've still not really been suffering with any sickness and the heartburn has almost completely gone! I don't know if I should be thankful or worried! Confused

L0ULEW · 10/04/2019 09:43

I feel much better today to and its worrying me too. Thinking why am I feeling so good. Have had actimel the last three mornings and seems to be working wonders x

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 10:12

I'm glad some people are feeling ok... I've been on actively for 3 weeks now and feel fine! Had a scan last week at 10weeks and measured 10+3 and baby wriggling away.
Been reading all about the morning sickness and food intolerances and feeling a little odd as I honestly wouldn't know I was pregnant if I wasn't so hungry and bloated at times.

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 10:12

ACTIMEL not 'actively!'

Iman77 · 10/04/2019 14:24

@tigsyboo lucky you! It's been reaaaally challenging for most of us. Ive been suffering from sever neck and shoulder spasm + headache. I normally used to get this last day of my period, but now it's almost everyday. Im officially 12 weeks today. Warmest from Dubai, UAE.

Lozzlepop · 10/04/2019 14:41

@Smiffette wow thats really quick! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get mine through that quickly as something else to look forward to 😃

@tigsyboo do you feel the Actimel has helped then? bet it was amazing seeing your little bean wriggling about ❤️

The only thing that has grossed me out so far was browning mince last night, that really made me want to heave but apart from that the sickness comes and goes, cant wait for my early scan next Saturday, cannot come quick enough!!

RainhamRosie · 10/04/2019 16:24

@Lozzlepop I've completely gone off mince too. The thought of it makes my toes curl 🤢

I've also gone off bananas and pretzels...I never really eat pretzels but the thought of them now is vom inducing. Weird huh?!

Mintypea5 · 10/04/2019 16:58

Meat just makes me want to puke Sad and I'm off cheese too ... my hear is broken

JoJoSaysHello · 10/04/2019 16:58

@L0ULEW @Lozzlepop I ordered a couple of pairs from ASOS - only ended up keeping one pair but I think I might order some more from elsewhere. I can't do up most of my work trousers & the ones that I can are so uncomfortable when I'm sat at my desk! Rotating my baggy tops also is making my wardrobe very limited... Hiding is a challenge, roll on 12 weeks when I won't be hiding anymore Smile

L0ULEW · 10/04/2019 17:02

@JoJoSaysHello I was going to treat myself to a pair from top shop this week shall let you know my review of them. Just want to be comfy (ish)

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 17:04

I deffo think actimel helped me, I don't feel as knotted in the stomach, although I wasn't ever very 'sicky' anyway.
I am also completely off bananas ... took a bite and the flavour was vile! Lol

I get very hot feet around 8pm each night that lasts until I'm asleep.... it's very odd lol!

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 17:16

Re trousers.... primark has crepe material peg leg trousers with a stretchy waitband for £10
I had them in khaki, rust, and black.
They have a tie waist but I cut off the ties inside the waistband as I found the bow drew attention to my belly. They are so comfy,..... and don't need ironing!!!!

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 17:18

I've had 2 comfy trouser wins this week.

These Jersey lounge pants from matalan

And these harem pants from next. They look like leggings in the pic but they're actually v light and loose.
