Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

@Bunnybaubles I love Emily 🙂 my sister in law is called Emily and her twin sister is Elizabeth. I love both of those names but obviously they were ruled out because that would be confusing..! My husband actually has a really big family so a lot of names I really liked were ruled out because of his many cousins! I love James for a boy and Isabella for a girl but they have been used.

Thanks for the info @BeckyButterfly, it's really hard tying to find a name that's not already associated with something else.

@Bunnybaubles I looooove meadow! Such a pretty name :) I don't think the fact it's associated with a field should put you off.

@BeckyButterfly thanks 😊 I was never that fussed for Emily but it grew on me when deciding names for my daughter. Isabella and James are lovely names too. Names are soooooooo hard tho!!

@Jummynbean yeh we still love Meadow but decided it didn't fit as well with the surname. Got a love my mum tho, she hated the name Ava too. It's the look she gives you when you tell her names you are thinking of 😂

We have learned that the trick is don't tell people! No one will say they don't like a name when it's attached to your new bundle of joy!
My friend had a daughter called amberlea, everyone agrees it's a beautiful name, but sounds too close to amberleaf tobacco hahah

@Jummynbean that is what we are doing, I’m not telling anyone. I just keep saying that we haven’t decided yet and won’t until she gets here.

@Jummynbean love the name Luna.

My husband has said a few of our girls short list to people, it's funny to watch their reaction, as obvious when they don't like a name! Think the idea of keeping it quiet is definitely the best.

We really like Eva, it's my husband's grandmother's name, but our niece already has it as a middle name, for the same reason. What do you think to us using it as a first name?

@Vicks82 Eva is lovely and I wouldn’t be put off by your niece having it as a middle name 🙂

Lovely to hear all the baby names I’m struggling for a boys name nothing I really like. Bump steadily increasing, still haven’t found that glowing stage yet 🤔

Thanks @BeckyButterfly since my message sister in law has actually said she should have kept it for her second daughter! It's still on the list... We'll see, can't believe how hard this name choosing is!

Hi ladies - baby has been pushing on my ribs a lot this week, struggling to sleep now! Also baby really love Nutella 😂 anyone else craving this?

@rosyedith no not Nutella but I could happily eat mayo with everything at the moment!

Diabetes test results Thursday. Baby's been oddly quiet this week: has this happened to anyone else? I'm feeling them enough, but not as much as two weeks ago.

Apparently I've got some really nasty gum infection, probably weak to it because of pregnancy reasons. Gonna have to take real care.

I've had the odd day where baby seems to be a bit quieter, I've usually got to the point of decided to call the midwife and then baby seems to wake up! Husband says I'm just worrying too much...

Really positive midwife appt this morning, diabetes test fine, heartbeat fine, etc. Just got to sort my mouth out now!

Heading to IKEA over the bank holiday to get some pretty things for the nursery.

@vicks, thanks, midwife said baby seems to be lying down between my hips and that's why they are quiet!

Great to hear things are going well! I've booked myself a dentist appointment too as my gums are getting worse and worse each week. Ugh I hate the dentist..

Glad to hear all went well @Bellaphant and good to know that baby is just in a different position.
I'm fascinated how they move and would love to be able to see how baby is laying!
Enjoy IKEA, we're planning a trip in a few weeks.
So far getting away without a trip to dentist (I have my yearly check up in June anyway & hoping I'll be ok until then. Hope everyone suffering improves soon x

Hi ladies! What a beautiful weekend we have had, hope your all doing well. Everyone thinks I'm having a boy because my bump is neat and I haven't put weight on anywhere else, I want to see everyone's bumps!! Here's mine xx

So I developed a stinking cold on good Friday. Being 6 months pregnant, having a horrible cold where you can't take any medicine for and a mini heatwave... This Easter hasn't been plain sailing for me 😥😢😥

@rosyedith I don't think it is because someone at my work is having a boy and she is carrying everywhere! I think it's pot luck 😂
