Hi ladies, thought I’d start another thread as the original one is closed and don’t think anyone has started a new one yet? I’m sure there are more ladies I should tag!

Same here with period pains.
Got my last growth scan tomorrow 😬 (touch wood) everything is good with my bubba! 😊 should get my induction date tomorrow for next week also. 🤞🏼 I go into natural labour by myself! 😂 anyone else feeling this stupid humidity tonight? 🥵

The last day for me is Friday, I'll be 38+1!

I'm getting hours of a rock hard bump, pain, tightenings that come in a pattern, zero sleep, and then nothing. I'm so tired and uncomfy.

Had pain all yesterday has gone today what a shock! 😂 went in for reduced movements last night thank god baby was fine decided to have a party whilst hooked onto the machine 😳 turns out what I thought was slight chances of early labour wasn't.. 🥵

Everyone seems to be experiencing pre birth pains, we'll saying that I know they can last weeks before births arrives. Baby kept feeling like she was poking at my cervix yesterday! Last day at work tomorrow thank god! Im only just over 35 weeks but struggling this time round with a toddler and demanding job! However feel further gone as they want me induced at 37 weeks! We can get through this ladies x

I'm 37 weeks today and I can't say anything has changed really, no droped baby, no pressure or cramping etc. I know I should feel lucky, but I can't help but feel these are signs that they will be coming soon.

@Jummynbean me too! Your date is also the 17th July? 🤗 sometimes these feelings happen in a flash though! You could feel nothing then BAM there's baby 😂

@Bellaphant me too, had period like pain in my back yesterday but there wasn't a pattern to it unfortunately. I only managed 2 and a half hours sleep last night!! That's 4 nights in a row I've not managed more than 3 hours sleep 😭

@Squeekybubbles 26 It definitely is harder now I have a 1 year old to run after all day. I'm really feeling it!

@FairyDust92 I have my final growth scan on Friday, can't wait. Hoping my wee babba hasn't grown too much and shot off the scale!

@Bunnybaubles good luck! Just had mine baby is weighing in at 6.7lbs 😊 getting induced next Wednesday! 🤗

@FairyDust92 That's brilliant you have a date! You must be so excited!!
My fingers are crossed my consultants play ball tomorrow and get my induction sorted

Although, my mum text me earlier giving me a list of dates she'd prefer i wasnt induced on (she's watching my 1 year old while I'm in labour). That is fair enough except all her dates are the most likely to be put forward by the consultants She knows I could be induced any day if my blood pressure spirals and has gone and booked herself a weekend break followed by nights out to the theatre 🤷‍♀️

@Bunnybaubles thanks! Yeah they basically said because of my GD they induce at 38 weeks. It's a day after my partners birthday 😂. Oh no! I hope your induction gets sorted and your mum is available! 😬

So exciting the babies are going to start making an appearance any time now 👶🏼

I’m due on Wednesday though not expecting a timely arrival! Am seriously uncomfortable and sleeping is non existent. I’m just cleaning and online shopping and I guess I could be doing this for another couple of weeks

Had a midwife appointment today and they are saying baby is already 2 5ths engaged! I guess at least shes in the right direction, I may not make it to my induction on the 10th after all!!

Well I went and saw my consultants today and I'm bloody fuming. Unfortunately because my BP was ok today they now want me to get to 38 weeks instead of 37 😫 That's what happens when you never see the same consultant twice!! Never even took into consideration my BP was averaging 175/107 all day Tuesday and that I was hospitalised last week because it was so high!
Even my midwife said on Monday I have pre-eclampsia, I need to be induced rather than waiting till I get very ill 😡

@HayleyHaystack I totally sympathise, I dont think I've slept longer than 2.5 hours a night for weeks. My man has just suggested he look after our 1 year old so i can spend the weekend sleeping as much as i can, I'll be taking advantage of that

@Squeakybubbles26 sounds like you're wee baby is getting ready! I was 4 /5's last week but midwife told me I'm fully engaged today. I'm so hoping I go into labour myself soon 🙏🤞

Baby is back to being 3/5 engaged, midwife offered me a sweep on my due date (13 days!) If I hadn't gone into labour, because im so uncomfy and being sick. She did imply that I'd be done before then tho, so fingers crossed! Last day of work today, planned a few nice things to do tonight/Saturday/Monday, then just going to rest and try some batch cooking 'til baby comes.

Met our NCT group for a social yesterday, really jealous of some of the baby pics they have: ours are rubbish. Convince me it's not worth paying £70-£100 for a fancy scan when baby will be here so soon?!?!

@Bellaphant I’m with you there don’t feel the need for fancy scan pictures, get some nice photos done when they arrive x

So my growth scan today revealed I'm having a wee chunky monkey 🙈 She's 7lb 4 @ 36+3 and the consultant was talking the other day about trying to get me to 38 weeks 😱
I have to go to day assessment on Monday morning for a blood pressure profile. Been told if it's high I'll be induced next week and if it's fine it'll be the week after, but I'll be insisting for next week after today's scan results!! I know 7lb 4 doesn't sound too bad, but because of my GD she will fire the weight on much faster than normal

@Bunnybaubles they aren't always that accurate but agree go for next week if you can! How exciting 🤗!!

37 weeks tmrw, really good to read... others also experiencing similar symptoms - lighting crotch, bh's etc... hubby is away this week and so worried about early labour on my own with toddler but seems like we are all going through the same at the same time.. 👍🏼

@bunnybaubles, we were told 7'7 at 36 weeks, but I don't have gd or anything, just a giant baby. Super uncomfy tonight and really anxious.

How’s everyone doing? Any babies expected this week? ☺️ waiting to see if icp has returned which will decide on delivery week. Decided to get the tommee perfect prep machine anything for hopefully easier night feeds, not much more to do now just need hospital bag prepped x

@Mayjane5 getting induced Weds but my
Mum and all my sisters when they had their first babies all had 4 day labours! I'm hoping I'm not that way! Fingers crossed for weds anyway not sure what time they'll get me in 😬

@Mayjane5 sorry forgot to say just incase you don't know, those prep machines a pipe at the back needs to be taken out regularly as it goes mouldy apparently!

@FairyDust92 hopefully you will won’t have to wait 4 days that’s a long labour!! Yep I’ve heard about the cleaning and seen some yucky pics but I guess it’s the same with everything if you don’t look after it
