1-2 or 3-4 weeks?

Hey! I have taken a clear blue pregnancy test today as I was a week late. It says 1-2 weeks pregnant. When I downloaded a pregnancy app to input my data and being to track my pregnancy (I know that may be early but I just want to do things right etc) it says I am 4 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so I apologise now if the question is silly! Xx

I'm out of scan! All ok thank goodness. They did a thorough check on ovaries. Womb. Baby. I saw heart beat!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ xxxx

Only confusing things were the dates?!

According to my last period date I'm 7 weeks 1 day?!?!

But baby is measuring up as 6 weeks 2 days

So I asked the nurse. She said she would try to work out my conception date on a chart

She did that and it works out exactly to the date we think we conceived. So although period date says 7+1

Me and the nurse are happy with 6 weeks 2 days xxx

@Bella5757 hmm okay thats odd, dating how far you are is quite tricky isnt it, if the nurse is confused then that leaves no hope for us haha .. that seems pretty good if the baby is measuring at around what you thought you were though so i guess until stated otherwise at the dating scan then 6 weeks 2 days it is.

I started a new thread and tagged you guys in it, @Bella5757 @LaurenSI @HayzCo .. did you see? .. I did that becuase this post has been answered and we keep talking on it so you will keep getting people giving you the answer you no longer need, maybe its not a big deal though so can stay on this thread obviously.

@foreverthe2ww2 I did the same thing and called it yummy mummy's to be. Did you see it?

Yea she said the dates vary but she said if we go by measurements and then because they matched up to the dates I had

I think the mestrual thing is just to get a rough date of how far gone you are but because cycles are different etc it can change xxx

Hey @cantbelievemyluck ! The way they treat the pregnancy starting from last period makes sense in some ways but as someone who ovulated on day 21/22 I’m always tracking a week behind. In my last pregnancy (miscarriage) they just would not listen to me about it.

@foreverthe2ww2 the munchies is a good sign. Any other symptoms yet? Absolutely nothing going on here. Thankfully no cramps today.

Hi just a quick update! I posted on this thread last week I believe where I was also confused of the 1-2 positive result which people were saying it's means 3-4 weeks.
Well I went for my 12 week scan thinking I was 12 weeks but to find out I was 13+5! Which would of meant when I got a positive on the test I was actually 4 weeks!!
November 1st I would of conceived and I did the test December the 1st! Exactly 4 weeks! 😊😊

Also another thing that REALLY confused me is that I had my period between 5th nov to 10th nov which I obviously thought I wasn't pregnant and to try again next month, little did I know I had already conceived...

This pregnancy has been playing tricks on me 😂

@Bella5757 I know right! And August the 5th is due date from nurse who did scan however August 8th from nurse at antenatal clinic so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ xxx
