Hey! I have taken a clear blue pregnancy test today as I was a week late. It says 1-2 weeks pregnant. When I downloaded a pregnancy app to input my data and being to track my pregnancy (I know that may be early but I just want to do things right etc) it says I am 4 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so I apologise now if the question is silly! Xx Blush

Thanks everyone! I am going for scan on 22 Feb which will 8+3 from NHS last period date or 5+1 from ovulation so hopefully that means we will see a little heart beat and I can stop worrying as much (yeh right!)

Everyone doing OK? Any new symptoms showing up yet?

@Lauren have you told all of your friends and family too? My boss is lovely but haven’t told her yet. She was very kind during miscarriage but ever since then she often looks at me with great concern and says “.you look very tired..are you ok?” As if to say, are you pregnant again? Will be nice to tell her and have an excuse for looking so terrible! 😂

Bella5757 · 30/01/2019 07:50

@LaurenSl ahh ok well that makes sense. I have the app too! I love looking at the weekly pics and reading all about how baby is developing xxx

I’ve told my best friend who’s like my sister and I’m going to London to see my mum this weekend so think I’ll tell her then - as I’d like to do it face to face and not sure when I’ll see her next!
I also need bit of moral support as I have this stupid phobia of sickness so if I chuck up I’ll need a helpline to my mum hehe 😊

Bella5757 · 30/01/2019 11:18

@LaurenSl definitely. I've told my mum sister and aunt who is like my second mum. Def a good idea for support xxxxxx

Not too bad here. Tired. Other than that, just the odd flutters of feeling lightheaded or slightly sick. I’m not even sure if I am, or just imagining it! You must be bursting to tell you mum Lauren, good one you for waiting to see her, it’ll be worth it! Xx

LaurenSl · 30/01/2019 21:34

@Bella5757 @HayzCo I cannot wait to tell her and my gran!!!! First grandchild so they will be over the moon!

Now just feeling I'm waiting like a bomb for the sickness - ahhh terrified! It's taking the edge of the excitement for sure!
But I'll survive! Us ladies are tough cookies! Xxx

hey lovely @Bella5757 sorry i have been away so only just catching up with this thread, ... yea they will contact you soon to book an apointment so just need to wait now .. more blinking waiting lol :)

no updates here really, boobs are getting bigger which i like the feeling of haha, .. im wondering if once we hit 6 weeks on the saturday will sickness hit at full force as a lot of people seem to experience that, .. i really hope not, im happy to not overly feel anything sick wise lol

Its nice that you have all told family, i have not :( .. the thing is for me, i know they will have concerns about the financial side of life and i dont need that doubt in my mind, i worry enough as it is with those sorts of things, so im happy not saying anything for now, well obviously it would be nice to say something but only if i knew i would get the response i want and i dont think ill get that so, .. hey ho.

i hope everyone is well?

LaurenSl · 31/01/2019 14:52

@Bella5757 that was quick!! You're a week before me for both! So exciting!!!!

My boobs are not growing which I'm gutted about lol!! I'm only small Chested so was excited for massive boobs!!

I'm just hungry and tired!

Don't want the sickness at six weeks eek x

Bella5757 · 31/01/2019 15:31

@foreverthe2ww2 @LaurenSl
I know I was so shocked when I got a date within 10 minutes as the for said 7-10 working days

I'm not sure if we will get hit full force from 6 weeks or not 🙈

I guess everyone is diff but I'm hoping not hahaha

Boobs wise mine are just sore. I'm big chested as it is so if they got any bigger I'm not sure I'd be able to stand up without falling onto them 😂😂😂 xxxx

@LaurenSI they will get fuller soon enough dont you worry, you will be glad to have your boobs back eventually no doubt ha. for me i already have a son of 15 yrs so mine were left a little empty and sad looking so kinda nice to have them feel alive again lol

@Bella5757 ah no way, you are a day before me on each, im the 19th of feb and march, you get 24hrs of teasing with having the scan photo first lol .. yea screw feeling sick, lets hope we are all lucky enough to avoid it.

Hello all!

Good to have your dates all set! My hospital is doing all my booking in and 12 week scan in one go! On 22 March. Seems v far away. Going to try and book in early scan for mid Feb, can’t really get too excited until then!

What pregnancy vitamins are you all taking?

Had my first moment of having to refuse an alcoholic drink this evening with someone at work, she definitely clocked it! Must say something about me! Haha

Bella5757 · 31/01/2019 21:01

@HayzCo hahaha well done for refusing 🤣
It's hard not to make it too obvious

I'm playing the nooo I'll drive tonight honestly card at the moment hahaha

Oh so exciting Hun

22 march isn't too far away but yea def try to get an earlier one if it will put u at ease

I'm now taking pregnacare vitamins with omega 3

Apparently it helps baby's brain and eyes develop well

But people say just folic acid is good to take I guess I just wanted to make sure I was taking the best for baby so I went with pregnacare as they are a leading brand

I was taking folic acid until today though xxx

OP posts:
LaurenSl · 31/01/2019 21:15

@HayzCo my scan in 22nd March too :)

I didn't know you could get private scans till I've joined this forum! I'm gonna hold out I think and just hope for best!!

Just hope the weeks fly by!

@Bella5757 I'm so gonna lose it when I do see bubba on screen! Think it'll be real then! Unless the sickness gets me before lol x

LaurenSl · 31/01/2019 21:17

@HayzCo I'm taking the boots pregnancy vitamins - has 19 different ones in it.
I compared it to pregnacare and had exactly same stuff in it but only £3 a box!

Drs say folic acid and vitamin D are two you should really take!! X

Bella5757 · 31/01/2019 21:19

@LaurenSl oh wow that's so good to know

What is the name of it please Hun?

I only picked up the pregnacare one as I knew it was a leading brand but also it was on special offer!!
But it's only a 2 week box

So I will def get the boots one! Xxx

Bella5757 · 31/01/2019 21:40
