Hey! I have taken a clear blue pregnancy test today as I was a week late. It says 1-2 weeks pregnant. When I downloaded a pregnancy app to input my data and being to track my pregnancy (I know that may be early but I just want to do things right etc) it says I am 4 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so I apologise now if the question is silly! Xx Blush

@HayzCo @Bella5757

Feeling worse cold wise today - think I may have chest infection brewing :( and can't take any time off work as start new job tomorrow! Eek!
Hoping if I rest again today I'll feel better.

No more bleeding so hoping that's it! Just terrified to cough, sneeze or blow my nose!

My mum was over the moon - and took weight off my shoulders telling her!
Also told my 84 yr old gran and she just cried n cried! So lovely ThanksThanks

Bella5757 · 03/02/2019 09:54

Oh that is so cute!
I'm glad you're ok. Just keep an eye.

Oh no I hate that. I've had a cold too. Luckily I had the flu jab through work in oct so think that's helped it to stay at bay and not develop into anything worse. People at work who haven't had it have been off with the flu. So glad mine didn't get that bad.

Im not looking out for any pain or discomfort and over analysing anything. This first 12 weeks feel like forever. Roll on the first scan xxxx

LaurenSl · 03/02/2019 10:08

I had flu jab too as work in a hospital but just hit me out of blue on sat morn! Mental! Progressed quickly too!

I know the last week seems to have dragged in!!! Lol - think I'll enjoy whole process more once I've got to 12 weeks and seen my munchkin x

PhoebeBear · 03/02/2019 16:22

Hi I know this is a long post but I've always wondered about the 1-2 week thing on clearblue tests. I've got my 12 week scan on tuesday so I'll have a better idea by then but the way I've worked it out- I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow.
I got 1-2 weeks positive on December 1st does that mean I may of conceived at the beginning of November then? Thanks! 😊

Bella5757 · 03/02/2019 16:44

@PhoebeBear yea apparently. On the clear blue website it says it says how many weeks from conception. So you were 1-2 weeks from when u conceived. Plus u add on 2 weeks from the first day of ur last period.

Still so confusing xxx

OP posts:
PhoebeBear · 03/02/2019 16:47

@Bella5757 yeah super confusing! My last period was 5th nov to 10th nov so if I got positive 1-2 weeks on December first and I take back 2 more that takes me to BEFORE my period 😂 haha crazy I guess just wait until Tuesday and I'll have a better idea.

Also I was on the pill for 5 years before I came off in October to try for baby so it may of been a withdrawal bleed? Nooo idea haha xx

foreverthe2ww2 · 03/02/2019 18:46

Hey! (im usually away at the weekends, so ill post Thursday/friday and back on sundays to reply)

Glad to see everyone is ok @LaurenSI I hope you have had no further bleeding, i have heard that it is actually more common then you would expect to bleed during pregnancy even very heavily for some ( usually when its a heavy bleed that is when the placenta comes away from the uterus and re attaches)

@Bella5757 yay happy 6 weeks to you too!! hopefully you are getting to drink a bit more water now?

@PoutySprout hey I really appreciate the explanation of that thank you :) now I know, i did wonder.

i still dont overly feel anything even with hitting 6 weeks, the boobs are still the same with feeling heavy/fuller and spurts of feeling tired out of no where but other then that i still couldnt tell.

xx

Bella5757 · 03/02/2019 19:37

@foreverthe2ww2 hey!
I'm the same. Heavy boobs. Tired. More hungry. And then I wonder am I actually pregnant or am I dreaming it xxxxx

foreverthe2ww2 · 03/02/2019 19:45

@Bella5757 yea its mad isn't, to have so much going on inside of you, your little one growing each day and just feeling pretty normal 0_o its great of course but quite odd. i keep thinking I better get the babies room painted and sorted pretty soon in case i do end up feeling sick, .. there actually is not much time at all in terms of that because realistically in a couple of months we will be too big and tired to do something like painting ... on one hand it seems like a long journey but then on another when I start thinking about what needs doing for the room there just does not seem like enough time at all ha.

Bella5757 · 03/02/2019 20:26

@foreverthe2ww2 most definitely I'm already looking at baby things like bottles etc online and imagining what baby's room will look like. Luckily my fiancé is so hands on I know he will be amazing at helping out with prying the baby's room out. I know he will end up making that his little project ❤️
I just don't know when to start doing things like that. Def not before the scan as I'm too superstitious. Maybe July?! Xxx

foreverthe2ww2 · 03/02/2019 20:43

Its so nice that your partner is hands on in that way! i suppose that is a good idea to be fair, .. I did think for a split second that I should be careful to not do it too soon just in case :/ .. hmm ill have to try and work out how to do this ha. xx

LaurenSl · 03/02/2019 22:19

Hey all! Just flew back to Scotland!
No more bleeding thankfully!!!

I too am not feeling much - sore boobs and horrific cold but that's it! Kinda hope I stay that way he he!

Hope you're all doing ok! Tuesday I'll be 6 weeks and half way to seeing bubba! Xxx

Bella5757 · 04/02/2019 10:36

Morning lovelies

So last night I wasn't feeling well. Woke up at 2am. Something didn't agree with me. I spent some time on the loo. Cold sweats. Felt faint. Went back to sleep woke up fine. I now feel like I have the worst heart burn today. Not sure if it's sickness/heart burn that is pregnancy related or just because I wasn't wel last night. Xxx

OP posts:
LaurenSl · 04/02/2019 11:07

@Bella5757
Sorry to hear you had crap night! It's so hard to tell isn't it!

I've been through my denial phase again this am - sure I'm not pregnant - but no period and 5 pregnancies tests over 2 weeks say I am! But apart from feeling cold/flu like I'm ok.

Maybe it's hormones triggering bad tummy??? Or did you eat anything greasy? cos i did last weekend and spent half night on loo!!

Lots of water for you today! Calm that tummy down xxxx hope you feel better s

Bella5757 · 04/02/2019 11:18

@LaurenSl thanks Hun. Yea I know what you mean I feel a bit like that too. Is this really happening?!

No well I made a chicken stir fry for dinner last night. But my fiancé was/is fine so might just be a hormonal thing. Just not sure. Hard to tell. Xxxx

OP posts:
foreverthe2ww2 · 04/02/2019 11:52

@Bella5757 oh no thats horrible! hopefully its a one off thing and or hormonal like you say and like @LaurenSI said, lots of water.

im just waiting for all of us to turn around and be like oh sh!t remember the earlier days when we felt nothing and now we are up to our eye balls in puke and tiredness :/

i need to find a hand held simple orange juice squeezer thing, really wanting fresh orange juice, .. i have a juicing machine but its a lot of faff just for a juice, .. you have to clean so many parts of it after which is annoying. maybe ill just look on ebay, much easier then trolling the streets plus i have already checked a few shops locally and cant see one.

Bella5757 · 04/02/2019 11:57

@foreverthe2ww2 have you looked on eBay? Amazon? Xxx

OP posts:
foreverthe2ww2 · 04/02/2019 12:22

Morning ladies -

That's me 6 weeks today!! Terrified to get out of bed in case the dreaded sickness hits me - so far so good though!

How's everyone feeling??

Seem to be hungry more often now!! Middle of night last night I could have eaten a horse!!!
L x

Bella5757 · 05/02/2019 06:35

@LaurenSl morning hubby!
Yay happy 6 weeks!

I ended up in A&E last night as I had some bleeding. Not heavy. But enough to notice. Called 111 they asked me a few questions then said they'd like me to get checked out. Doctor at A&E reassured me that he thinks all is fine but is sending me for an early scan in the next 2-3 days to check all is ok with baby. God being pregnant is so scary!!
Omg Lauren I know what you mean! I've been so hungry too xxxx

OP posts:
foreverthe2ww2 · 05/02/2019 06:43

@LaurenSI ha i love that you bought another test, i have to say i have been ever so slightly tempted. Happy 6 weeks yay :) slowly slowly the weeks are passing.

yea i feel you on the wanting to eat more but usually through the night i wake up hungry like yourself, ... i think maybe this means we dont quite eat enough during the day? i think for me that maybe true as i actually have little interest in food even though obviously i need, i dont know what i want is the problem, NOTHING seems appealing but when i do finally put something together i woof it down.

im finding that sometimes im not sleeping well, like i cant get comfortable at all but i dont even have a bump so i dont really understand why thats an issue already lol .. other then these little things i am fine .. oh and the tierdness, its not constant but rather just hits me randomly out of no where like a brick and then passes.

foreverthe2ww2 · 05/02/2019 06:51

@Bella5757 just saw your post after i posted mine sorry, i can imagine how scary that was! will you hear something today? To help your mind ease, there are lots of common reasons for bleeding in pregnancy and i think its actually more common to experience bleeding then not these days. Flowers Cake

Bella5757 · 05/02/2019 07:13

@foreverthe2ww2 thank u Hun
Yea the doctor reassured me things should be fine

He just said it could be implantation bleeding or placenta growing. He said I did the right thing by going in. He said he didn't want to over reassure me but that he didn't have any major concerns. But could see that I was worried so is sending me for an early intervention scan. Someone will call me after 9am today to get a scan in. Depending how busy they are it could be today tomorrow or next day. He's told me to take the day off work today. Which I've done. And I will take the days off until my scan depending on when it is then return.
So hopefully I get to see my little blueberry sized baby and heart it's little heart beating in the next couple of days. Hopefully all is well and I haven't had anymore bleeding since. I even wore a pad to bed to see!! Xxx
