Hey! I have taken a clear blue pregnancy test today as I was a week late. It says 1-2 weeks pregnant. When I downloaded a pregnancy app to input my data and being to track my pregnancy (I know that may be early but I just want to do things right etc) it says I am 4 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so I apologise now if the question is silly! Xx Blush

@Bella5757 Oh god no, im definitely no guru haha, i had my son when I was 18 and with that being almost 16 years ago, its all a blur, all i can tell you is relax when it comes to labor, I think because I was so tense about labor, i was scared of the pain and didnt know what to expect so it took 46 hours! i believe it was because I would not let my muscles relax. Although I think also the two injections of pethadine (not sure on its spelling) it was great stuff, totally stopped the pain. I recall the midwives saying it had pretty much stopped the labor also though.

LaurenSl · 01/02/2019 11:25

So woke up today loaded with cold! Bunged up nose and feeling sooo heavy/sleepy!

Any new goss from folk?? X

HayzCo · 01/02/2019 13:27

Exactly the same here Lauren! Had a headache yesterday, slept really badly (still so ridiculously thirsty) and today feel rotten and full of cold. Do you think it’s linked to the pregnancy? Period cramps feelings too, which is definitely linked! Can’t believe I’m on 4+5 and so attuned to every single thing. It’s going to drive me bonkers isn’t it!

Good to have some experience, Forever! I have heard really good things about hypnobirthing, but think in essence it’s just about making sure you chill out during labour!

LaurenSl · 01/02/2019 13:56

@HayzCo

I didn't sleep so well either! Must all be related.
I have had lots of mini cramps and had one big one last night that made me feel sick and lightheaded too but passed quickly! Really scared me and thoughts went to worst! But seem ok and no bleeding or anything!

I'm over analysing every little niggle and feeling! Defo feel more tired today and just like dead weight! Brain is mush too!! Lol

I'm 5+3 today - why is this taking so long??? Lol just wanna have my 12 weeks scan and hope I'll chill xxxx

LaurenSl · 01/02/2019 13:59

Also I'm massively bloated! Omg!!
I'm fine till I eat then boom! Gonna have to start doing small snacks more often as it's bloody agony and nothing fits me!!! X

foreverthe2ww2 · 01/02/2019 14:30

@HazyCo Yea exactly, ultimately it is about being relaxed :)

ladies i just bought some chewy Gin Gins from holland & barrets .. so good, super hard/chewy texture sweets in a little box that fits in your bag. @Bella5757 mentioned eating ginger biscuits as this helps with any sickness so these may be worth checking out as an alternative to biscuits.

i have super fried scrambled egg brain also but nothing else overly although when i got out of the shower i did feel pretty sick hence why i brought those sweets just in case sickness is looking to hit as im 6 weeks tomorrow and a lot of people say it can hit around then. :/

foreverthe2ww2 · 01/02/2019 14:33

(they are ginger sweets just to clarify, they do have sugar in unfortunatley but also 10% ginger although that does not specify if thats per sweet or per box, tricky buggers)

Bella5757 · 01/02/2019 16:22

Omg girls I'm feeling so bloated today!!

I'm still going to the toilet regularly so not blocked up. Just feel so bloated!

Also I'm glad you've said you've had aches and pains/cramps coz I've had them today too and been so paranoid about wiping when I go to the toilet and double checking to make sure there's no bleeding

But if we are all experiencing them then I guess it's normal xxx

LaurenSl · 01/02/2019 17:04

@Bella5757 feel better now you've said same!
My go from ache to sharp pain for couple seconds then gone again!
And I too am always inspecting the tissue for blood! I'm so over paranoid!

I also have backache today but I do have dodgy back normally! Xxx

Bella5757 · 01/02/2019 17:17

@LaurenSl I'm the same with a Dodgy back anyway
But glad it's both of us

I had a sharp pain yest. Nothing since. But just on and off aches today

Nothing before now though

Will keep an eye xxx

LaurenSl · 01/02/2019 17:52

🤦🏻‍♀️

10% refers to everything. So each sweet is 10% ginger and so is the box.

Eg - sweet = 5g contains 0.5g ginger
box of 20 sweets = 100g of which 10g is ginger.

Bella5757 · 02/02/2019 06:43

@foreverthe2ww2

HayzCo · 02/02/2019 18:20

Sorry you’re still feeling rubbish too Lauren! I keep worrying I’m dehydrated... so actually have moved from the sofa..to the loo and back!

LaurenSl · 02/02/2019 18:36

@HayzCo

Bella5757 · 02/02/2019 19:35

@LaurenSl oh no babe are you ok?
Has it stopped? Did you go to get checked out.

Nothing new for me. I'm on the sofa with a Chinese lol
@HayzCo I know what you mean I'm so thirsty and I'm not carrying a bottle around the house with me constantly as I know I need to drink More xxx

OP posts:
LaurenSl · 02/02/2019 19:41

@Bella5757 I rung nhs 24/7 and they said if it's stopped and no pain then to just rest and if continues go see someone.
I'm in London not at home so not sure where'd I go!

It was two wipes and just spotting. It's stopped completely now - thank god! Just freaked me out so so much!
Xxx

Bella5757 · 02/02/2019 19:43

@LaurenSl how many weeks are you again?

You think maybe implantation? Xxxx

OP posts:
LaurenSl · 02/02/2019 19:48

@Bella5757 I'm 5+4. I had some bleeding at week 3 and presumed that was implantation!

No idea! I hope that's all it is x

HayzCo · 03/02/2019 07:54

I understand that you can definitely get spotting that can mean absolutely nothing to worry about. There can be blood in the uterus from aspects of the ovulation process.

Was it nice telling your mum, Lauren?

Bella5757 · 03/02/2019 09:29

@LaurenSl how are you feeling today xxx
