Hi! So I got my BFP on Christmas Eve and am just under 5 weeks. It's quite a lonely time keeping quiet until after 12 weeks so I thought I would start a thread for ladies who are roughly the same time along so we can keep each other company and talk about this exciting time!

What are people symptoms? Do you feel pregnant yet?? I feel pretty normal! Maybe a little more tired but otherwise fine.
How are people going to play New Year's Eve? We have a big do on the 31st and a family lunch on the 1st - don't know how I'm going to get away without drinking!

Xx

Mines booked for the 10th May. X

Yeah I will do! Hopefully it'll be nice and clear like my 12 week scan :D just hate all the waiting!

KJR123 · 20/03/2019 14:47

Ok ladies so! Without sounding too graphic..
What's your go to food that's not too bad for spewing back up?
I'm struggling

Bunnymummy89 · 20/03/2019 15:13

@KJR123 cornflakes! Because they go soggy and digest a bit quicker rather than choking on things like toast. Feel for you, it's grim when you base what to eat purely on what's not too bad to throw up! Are you on any anti sickness meds? They haven't stopped my sickness but help me to keep a lot more down, especially later in the day

AnnieAR · 20/03/2019 15:15

I didn't actually get the throwing up but got the nausea, I found a small amount of fairly plain carbs was okay - stuff like toast, low sugar cereal, pasta, sandwiches or soup was also fine for me :)

KJR123 · 20/03/2019 15:19

Thanks guys.

Not on anti sickness yet going to mention it at my next appointment if I'm still suffering. X

Hi! I’m just joining now, due September 2nd first baby, 18 weeks today, feel like i’ve been showing for a few weeks now but have always had a belly so doesnt look much different. Am a bit nervous as I had 3 early losses in a year before this one, all around 6 weeks, but this wee one seems to be doing well!
Hi everyone! X

Hi @Roona !!

I promise I'm not trying to steal people away from this thread, but there's a pretty active one going in the antenatal section - September 2019 babies - I think we're on our 4th thread!

Just didn't want you to feel alone if no one got back to you on this one

Congratulations- you're a few days ahead of me, I'm due 7th x

KJR123 · 26/03/2019 21:19

Not long till your next scan now :)
