Hi! So I got my BFP on Christmas Eve and am just under 5 weeks. It's quite a lonely time keeping quiet until after 12 weeks so I thought I would start a thread for ladies who are roughly the same time along so we can keep each other company and talk about this exciting time!

What are people symptoms? Do you feel pregnant yet?? I feel pretty normal! Maybe a little more tired but otherwise fine.
How are people going to play New Year's Eve? We have a big do on the 31st and a family lunch on the 1st - don't know how I'm going to get away without drinking!

Xx

Thinking of you @jellybaby2019

Whisky2014 · 20/01/2019 12:24

Congrats hannah!
I don't have sickness or anything really. I had bad pains to start with and now a couple of days with headaches. I feel sick but not too bad and no actual sickness. I'm 8 weeks 2 days.

Whisky2014 · 20/01/2019 12:25

How are you jelly?

Nymeria9277 · 20/01/2019 12:52

Hi everyone, feel abit late to the party but last week found it I'm pg for the first time. Not at all expected so super scared atm. I'm nearly 6 weeks. Been feeling sick for the past few days but putting this down to nerves. Other than that my breasts are really tender and that's it. Going to the Gp for the first time in a couple of days.
Good luck everyone!

Hannahb123 · 20/01/2019 13:02

Hello! Whisky2014
Thank you for replying!
I had my first sickness feeling today didn't last long but wasn't nice I never had that much sickness with my first so I don't know what to expect with Morning sickness.
Excited to have people to talk to! I just want this first part to hurry up! So I can stop worrying my biggest fear is going to me 12 weeks scan and there not being a heartbeat!

Xx

Hannahb123 · 20/01/2019 13:03

@jellybaby2019 I am thinking of you in this horrible time fingers and toes crossed over here for you! I am sure everything will be okay! Xxxx

jellybaby2019 · 20/01/2019 13:11

Not good news for me from the scan today. Sadly. this jellybaby was not meant to be.

Good luck, I wish you all safe and healthy bumps and babies x

Megan2018 · 20/01/2019 13:25

So sorry @jellybaby2019, wish there was something better I could say. Good luck going forward x

LaceyP · 20/01/2019 17:56

Hi, I'm glad you started this thread! I'm due late September, in UK. I'm currently 5 weeks and symptoms have been coming and going, mostly bloating/constipation so I'm eating handfuls of prunes and lots of water which is helping. It's quite lonely not being able to tell people and not sure in can face everyone's reactions, especially if things don't work out. I'm 35, FTM. Booked a private scan at 7 weeks as more likely to get ectopic pregnancy due to age. How's everyone's journey so far?

LaceyP · 20/01/2019 18:16

@jellybaby2019 I'm so sorry to hear that, it's such a roller coaster isn't it 😔 I hope you have your feet up and being kind to yourself x

Anondonkey · 20/01/2019 18:47

So sorry @jellybaby2019 Flowers

BeeYouTiful · 20/01/2019 19:16

@jellybaby2019 I'm so so sorry your little jelly baby wasn't meant to be. I'm more sorry for the rollercoaster ride you have been on, couldn't have been easy. Please rest up.

Awaiting my follow up scan next Tuesday, after one last week where I saw a yolk sack only following a bleed. Heads in the shed also, and although I've not bled since the health anxiety ridden devil in me can't believe everything will be ok.

Thinking of you, at this truly heartbreaking time Thanks

BeeYouTiful · 20/01/2019 19:18

@Loti92 sending you many positive thoughts and wishes for your up coming scan Thanks

ShowerTheHorse · 20/01/2019 20:26

foreverthe2ww2 · 21/01/2019 10:57

Hi,

looking to join - i am 4weeks and 2 days with my second, my first, my son is almost 16ys, i am 33, 34 in march and sh!tt!ng myself, .. kinda excited to do this as a woman now rather then a teen but the first was so long ago, i dont recall much so its brand new again.

@jellybaby2019 I have only seen your last couple of posts but I hope you dont mind me sharing my condolences, I am sorry to hear of your bad news, ... It may take time to heal depending on your mindset with these things, just make sure you give yourself the time you need to become centered again.

jellybaby2019 · 21/01/2019 11:55

Thank you all for your kind words and support.

I’m doing ok; bit numb, totally distracted and physically I feel like I’ve got flu. I’ve just started a new job so trying to focus on that and my 2 teen DDs are a good evening distraction. The worst is yet to come as I wait for nature to take its course so just taking one day at a time and keeping strong.

It really meant a lot to be able to share all this with you as I’ve not told anyone other than DP about pregnancy - thank you.

I’m going to bow out of this group now but I wish you all lots of love and happiness for your pregnancies and beyond x

Justanother123 · 21/01/2019 12:39

How is everyone feeling?
I’m 5weeks 2days and apart from really sore uncomfortable boobs and feeling a bit bloated in the evening I have no other symptoms yet.
I had HG in my previous 2 pregnancies. Do you think I’m likely to have it again?

Karigan195 · 21/01/2019 13:38

Fat. I’m feeling fat. I have quite a bump already and trousers won’t do up. I think I feel fine unless I don’t eat quickly enough in the morning which leads to the most horrendous painful dry heaves over the sink. First trimester is not fun but I’m now into the third month so second trimester is in sight in 3 weeks!

foreverthe2ww2 · 21/01/2019 13:40

@justanother123 hey, im 4wks2dys .. i have slightly tender boobs and generally tired but i dont "feel" pregnant otherwise, .. im sure that will change real soon in time though so we should enjoy the peace while we have it.

Teddie1 · 21/01/2019 14:06

Oh @jellybaby2019 I'm so so sorry. Big hugs to you - take care ThanksThanks

I've got my early scan today in a few hours. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow so really hoping to see a heartbeat and just some reassurance everything is okay.

As for how I'm feeling - awful. I've never felt this horrendous in my life. I can't wait to not be nauseous and exhausted anymore Sad I've not been able to exercise/do anything for weeks so counting the days until this first trimester is over and I can enjoy food and doing things again!
