We've run out of room so let's start again.

New people welcome. The group aims to support those who are pregnant post difficulty.

All are welcome - we are aimed at 12 week plus as those early weeks are a different kind of roller coaster and another group exists for support then. However you are welcome here too if you want to join.

Some of us have been here a while and nearly ready to pop. Others already had their babies.

Welcome one and all xxx

Thanks @Janefx40!

@Fox23 aww lovely that Alice is doing well. Amazing how quick they change!

So, I phoned the hospital. They said not to worry just now. Unless I have no movement at all. I’m still too early for a pattern and to monitor between 26-28 weeks. Have eaten so much rubbish today. Prob comfort food! 😣 xx

Liverpool19 · 24/11/2018 18:38

Enjoy your night fox you sound like you have everything sorted Alice sounds brilliant 😍
Hopefully things are nice and easy for me tomorrow 😂👀
That’s good beherenow least your mind will be more at ease now x

@Beherenow32 glad you rang and glad they were able to reassure. My baby responds to food. Quiet today as didn't eat much (as feeling sick). Then as soon as I have something tonight she starts squirming around

I am going in for 11 jane they will monitor me then put the propess in then I come home and go back Monday if nothing has happened within 24 hours. Fingers crossed I’ll be making my way back there tomorrow night 🤞🏻 X

Liverpool19 · 25/11/2018 09:11

Thanks everyone! I hope it’s not too long 😂 x

emalady · 25/11/2018 11:25

@liverpool19 good luck, hope you get to meet your little one soon!
@janefx40 thanks for setting up the new thread. So impressed with everything you are doing and managing. Hope I can manage even a part of what you are up to.

I'm 29 weeks now, health visitor home assessment next week, not quite sure what to expect. Spent most of the day yesterday walking (shopping in town and then light show at local national trust place) and my back and feet were so knackered after. This pregnancy malarkey is very tiring!

Liverpool19 · 25/11/2018 12:08

It’s in. I’m 2cm dilated but my cervix is still a bit longer than they would like if I don’t go into labour tonight they will break my waters tomorrow afternoon 🤞🏻 X

Janefx40 · 25/11/2018 12:43

Oooo 2cm is a start. Hope it gets going soon.

@emalady thanks but think you must be muddling me with @Fox23 or someone else! I did start the group but not sure I've done much else!!!

@Liverpool19 hope you have a speedy labour and baby is here soon, safe and sound ❤️

Liverpool19 · 25/11/2018 14:18

Hopefully 🤞🏻 I’ve had a few twinges since she put it in but not sure if it’s Cos she’s been messing or because of the propess 😂 x

beanhunter · 25/11/2018 15:02

Following with excitement @liverpool19!

Barcelo18 · 25/11/2018 15:07

@liverpool19 how exciting for you. I can’t wait to hear all about it x

emalady · 25/11/2018 20:25

@liverpool19 hope more happens for you over night and / or you manage to get a bit of a rest.

It's very exciting!

Liverpool19 · 25/11/2018 21:18

I’m having very strong period pains. I get really bad ones anyway these are worse. I’ve just took some paracetamol. This has been going on for about 2 hours now and they are getting closer together and moving round my back. X

swimchick1980 · 25/11/2018 21:36

Ooh, sounds like contractions? Are you in hospital or at home? So exciting - can’t wait to hear of your baby’s safe arrival 😃.

Liverpool19 · 25/11/2018 21:55

No I am at home. They didn’t need to keep me in. I am due back in tomorrow morning if I don’t go in before swim

swimchick1980 · 25/11/2018 22:04

That’s good you’re home. As we’ve all discussed before, it’s so strange how different areas do things differently- for induction here you go in at 8pm at night, get your first pessary later that night and you stay in. Next one is around 6 hours later if you need it and another 6 hours after that if you need that. If your cervix is dilated enough after 1/2/3, they break your waters in the labour suite and away you go!

I hope you are not in too much pain and I hope you get to meet your boy soon Grin

Janefx40 · 25/11/2018 23:11

@Liverpool19 sounds promising...hoping your boy comes soon and the pain doesn't get worse!!!

@Liverpool19 how was the night? Did contractions intensify? What time are you due back at hospital? I’m so looking forward to you having the baby 🍼

Liverpool19 · 26/11/2018 11:14

So, my waters broke at twenty past 3 this morning. I had my baby boy at 8.29am weighing 6lb 2oz. I went from 3cm to 9cm in 6 hours and didnt have time for an epidural 😳. He’s amazing. X
