Hi ladies! I’m 5+2 with DC2. My DS1 is 2 and a half. I worked out my dates as due 22nd of July. My DH and I decided we would try for Baby 2 after some unprotected bedroom olympics but little did we know that the time the sparked the convo was all it took! But if a surprise but so wanted Star

How’s everyone feeling? No symptoms as yet here although I have been getting mild pain in my lower abdomen but seems to kick in when I do too much. Since I figured that out I’ve been slowing down a bit and it’s not been too bad. Not looking forward to the morning sickness. With DS1 I was sick from wk 6 to week 11, 24/7 Sad Not fun!

Congratulations everyone Flowers

fisherlady good tip on the decaf teabags! Making a trip to m&s tmo so will have to get some. I’ve got Aldi’s at the mo and it’s pretty awful. I’m still having a caffeine coffee in the morning but making sure I stay under the recommended 200mg x

Winona1 · 23/11/2018 07:24

Think I spoke to soon, I feel rough today! 😕Just hope it's not obvious to my colleagues! How's everyone else?

MrsC87 · 23/11/2018 07:38

Morning ladies I've got my first midwife appointment today, excited and nervous 😬
Hate blood tests too 😫

vixy1988 · 23/11/2018 08:31

@Winona1 I'm sorry you are feeling poorly and I hope your colleagues don't suss it out.

I have a head ache and a strange pull in the right side of my tummy and am 5 weeks today.

rach2019 · 23/11/2018 09:49

Wow woke up this morning 6+3 and morning sickness has hit me like a tonne of bricks!! Almost falling over because my balance is off, trying to find lies to tell people at work. I do feel more pregnant though? (if thats a thing) Hope you're all okay x

Delilah7 · 23/11/2018 09:57

Deco a thing @rach2019.

It feels so weird to say I'm 7 weeks 3 days pregnant today. I never got passed 5 weeks last time so I'm rather happy. Especially with how my bloods are.
Scan is Thursday and midwife appointment is Friday! Woooohoooo. Feeling lousy every morning though, hair cut tonight 😍

Jalf · 23/11/2018 10:40

I’m 7w due 12th July but I’m worrying a little now. I’ve had a pregnancy before got to 8w and from 5w felt v sick.

I’ve felt a little iffy but nothing like the last time. I’m worried something is wrong as the sicker you are the healthier your bean is.

Is anyone else in the same boat?
Still BFP and boobs tender etc, just not particularly sick and I really was last time.

Giraffe888 · 23/11/2018 10:44

@jalf I don’t think the sicker you are the healthier baby is is true. My best friend had no sickness at all and her daughter is now 2 and perfect! X

Jalf · 23/11/2018 10:46

I really hope that you’re right @Giraffe888 - I’m starting to worry myself sick at the moment. Booking in apt isn’t until 7th December and scan not until the Christmas period.

Giraffe888 · 23/11/2018 10:48

@jalf honestly I know a few people who have had no sickness at all so try not to worry. I’m only 4+1 and worrying daily but trying not to! X

Winona1 · 23/11/2018 11:43

I'm so glad we are all in this big sick boat together haha!!

Flyfisherlady · 23/11/2018 12:12

Just call me Rod Stewart. “We are sailing, we are sailing...”

Blondie2005 · 23/11/2018 12:53

I’m 5 weeks today. Suffering badly with bloating and constipation. But every little niggle I’m feeling makes me worry that something is going wrong again.

MakeAWhish · 23/11/2018 13:28

@Jalf the sickness thing is really not true at all! This is my third, with my other 2 DC's I had no sickness at all in my pregnancies and they were perfect!
@vixy1988 I have the strange pull on one side too, I guess everything's starting to stretch in preparation xx

Jalf · 23/11/2018 13:31

Thank you @MakeAWhish that makes me feel a bit better too. The wait for a dating scan is forever!

MakeAWhish · 23/11/2018 13:37

@Jalf It's such a long time to wait. With the other 2, I paid for a private scan at 7 weeks. Might do the same this time!

AJJS89 · 23/11/2018 13:40

Im due around 3/7/19 got scan on 18/12/18. X

Jalf · 23/11/2018 13:44

@MakeAWhish how much (ish) are they and are they at private hospitals? I’ll look into it I think!

MakeAWhish · 23/11/2018 13:48

@Jalf it was about £80 I think - was 10 and 7 years ago tho 🙈

vixy1988 · 23/11/2018 14:06

Yes I I have booked a scan for 8 weeks and 2 days on 17th December. That was £69 - £30 now and the rest when we go. This is in romsey in Southampton.

MakeAWhish · 23/11/2018 14:11

I've just booked one too, for 7 weeks (9/12) it's costing £79 (£30 deposit paid today)

mumofone25 · 23/11/2018 14:57

I’ve also booked a scan for the 10th December will be almost 8 weeks. Got first midwife appointment on the 14th December aswell. Feel very pregnant now. Bloated and nauseous and exhausted!

mumofone25 · 23/11/2018 17:48

Just did this! Over the moon. No more POAS for me now 😃. Just wanted to see that 3+ which means HCG levels have increased since last weekend when I got a 2-3
.

A July thread - fun!

I’m 8+2 with my first, and I’m almost 35. Very nervous with everything being ok due to previous MC. Luckily first scan at 7 weeks confirmed everything was on track, heartbeat found, and my EDD is the 4th.
Feel nauseous on and off but nothing major, but tiredness and irritability is out of control! Constantly feel cold, boobs are so bad they keep me awake at night. HB is very bored of my horrible attitude and mood swings.
Not sure how I’ll make it another 4 weeks without another scan... but we’ll see!
