Thanks guys!!! Xx

vixy1988 · 21/11/2018 17:05

Hi all,

I am 4 weeks and 4 days roughly with my first pregnancy- which takes me to around 27th July 2019.

So excited. Already had to buy new bras as my boobs are bigger and the underwire popped through on 2 bras.

Felt some heart burn today. But other than those symptoms I feel normal- I do feel more "fuller" than usual though

Mrstobe90 · 21/11/2018 17:41

Can I join?

Just found out I'm expecting DC2. Will be 5 weeks tomorrow and have docs appointment on Friday :)

Winona1 · 21/11/2018 18:04

Congrats everyone! I had docs today, don't have a chest infection thankfully just a cough (felt so stupid). I also asked for a blood test to confirm hgc levels are rising but he said he wouldn't recommend that... Worried I'll get to my scan a week on sat and there is no baby ..

mumofone25 · 21/11/2018 18:16

Congratulations @vixy1988 and @Mrstobe90 I’m also expecting DC2.

Flyfisherlady · 21/11/2018 18:29

I’m quite early on. 4 weeks and a bit but I get bouts of nausea and generally feel a little bit like I’m on a boat. Please say I’m not alone!

MakeAWhish · 21/11/2018 18:32

4w3d and feel tired and headachy today

mumofone25 · 21/11/2018 18:43

5 weeks today! I feel exhausted and nauseous. Ohh and I am massively bloated and uncomfortable.

roobine · 21/11/2018 19:07

Great news @Delilah7! 😊

NoParticularPattern · 21/11/2018 19:54

Great news Delilah!! Those are lovely numbers!!

I’m 4+5 and still don’t feel pregnant other than being a bit more tired than usual but I think that’s par for the course with a non sleeping 9mo!! It’s doing my head in a bit but I have to remember that I didn’t feel crap with DD this early either- I was a good 6/7 weeks when I felt poo with her so I’ll see how things go. I’m a dreadful worrier so I’ve done more ICs and they are definitely getting darker. So at least that is reassuring me. I have some slight cramping too so fingers crossed there is something going on in there. I just have to keep reminding myself that there’s no reason this one won’t be exactly the same as my pregnancy with DD!!

Winona1 · 22/11/2018 07:27

6 weeks today. Still no sickness thank god! How is everyone? X

MakeAWhish · 22/11/2018 08:05

4w4d and getting paranoid as I keep peeing on the cheap tests I still have loads of and the line isn't getting as dark as I would like, so it's naturally making me stressed 😫 I've even ordered some more FRER's to try and put my mind at rest.

MrsC87 · 22/11/2018 10:20

I'm 5 weeks 5 days, felt well yesterday which made me worry, so did a digital last night and got a 3+ which I was happy with.
Today I feel nauseous and very tired! So it must be the hormones keep upping every couple of days x

GabbyGal · 22/11/2018 13:43

I’m 7 weeks today. Severe heartburn (I usually suffer with it anyway), very little appetite (probably due to the heartburn) and tiredness but otherwise feel ok. Not sure if I should be relieved or worried that I don’t feel worse!

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/11/2018 14:11

@makeawhish I wouldn't worry about the Internet cheapies , they don't seem to darken much ! The first one I took with my bfp was so so faint I thought I was imagining it but my frer was REALLY dark. Mine are only just starting to be darker the last few days but they're still not like the control line

Kaphen · 22/11/2018 14:33

Hi I'm 6 +3 with my first pregnancy. I've also never been on a message board before so trying to work out all the acronymsSmile

I did 5 tests in one weekend when I found out at first and keep testing here and there just to make sure.

I'm due (according to the Dr) 15th July and have booked an early scan at 10 weeks in December so we can tell close family at Christmas.

Anyone else had really early strong symptoms? I'm having full on morning (all day) sickness and crazy fatigue. My husband and his mum are both twins, part of me is wondering if my strong symptoms could be a sign or if I'm just being dramatic Grin

Flyfisherlady · 22/11/2018 14:37

Just call me Rod Stewart because I am sailing. Really feel like I am on a boat all the time. And I’m only 4w and 5 days. Also quite tired. Also gagging a lot. Bleurgh.

vixy1988 · 22/11/2018 15:10

@Flyfisherlady me too, 4 weeksand 5 days. I've had to buy new bras and feeling some slight twinges in my tummy. Had a couple of moments where I've needed to eat something because I felt sick. Booked an early scan at 8 weeks and two days so we can tell family at Christmas. I also have my 30th birthday party on the 15th where I know lots of people will be wondering why I am not wasted! Going to have to come up with a plan. Due date is 26/27 July 😃 first child so very nervous something will go wrong xx

Kaphen · 22/11/2018 15:33

@vixy1988 I too have been wondering about hiding not drinking over Christmas as people would expect me to be drinking! I have said no to so many drinks invites.

What a wonderful Christmas surprise for the families, I wondered if I could get away with that being the gift Wink

Flyfisherlady · 22/11/2018 15:39

@vixy1988 oh good. I only just found out on saturday. Saw docs on Tuesday- waiting to be referred over

vixy1988 · 22/11/2018 15:42

@Flyfisherlady my gp won't see me until 2 missed periods- so I have an appointment on the 14th then they refer us over.

I would like to get an appointment sooner but they say no 😦

MakeAWhish · 22/11/2018 17:28

Thanks for the reassurance @ReginaPhalange89 , I did an FRER tonight and it's put my mind at rest! Lovely dark line xx

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/11/2018 18:04

That's great @makeawhish!
I've got a clear blue with weeks in the cabinet and have had to restrain myself every morning 🙈 I took one on sunday it said 1-2 , might do it tomorrow but trying to hold off til next week to see the 3+ ! Lol

NoParticularPattern · 22/11/2018 19:07

@MakeAWhish I find the same with ICs. My initial line was hardly even there but the FRER that I did was not even nearly a squinter. I’ve also been doing my head in that the ICs haven’t got darker but actually I have just looked at them and they are slightly darker (as in there’s a definite line there now not just a squinty squint squinter) I think I’d get a “darker than the control line” on a FRER now if I did one. Sadly I’m extremely skint so no further testing for me. I’m going to try not to test for the next fortnight. We go away in a week so I won’t be able to test there anyway and then I’ll be 7 weeks when we get back. Won’t “tempt fate” (even though we all know that’s shite!!!) by booking my midwife appointment until I get back. So hopefully it won’t be til about 9-10 weeks which should break the weeks between then and Christmas up and then my scan should be after new year so not many weeks again. I wish we had the cash for a private scan but we don’t, and honestly I don’t think we will tell anyone until I can’t hide it anymore anyway. My SIL’s sister just tragically lost her baby to a TFMR at 22 weeks so I’m conscious of a) not doing anything too soon and inadvertently upsetting her and b) not wanting to announce to the whole world only to have to un-announce again. But anyway we shall cross that bridge when/if we come to it.

I still don’t feel pregnant other than the pulling and stretching cramps. I find they swap sides one day to the next- I’m imagining my uterus blowing up lopsided and then evening out but I imagine that it’s normal. Although quite why I can’t remember what I was like with DD I will never know. I’ll be slightly glad when I feel terrible but I’ll also immediately start moaning. And I have DD to deal with this time, I can’t just sleep all day like before 😬😬

Flyfisherlady · 22/11/2018 19:30

Blimey. I just booked in to see the fellow as Normal. I have an appointment on Monday for my long-standing condition. Really looking forward to telling them I’m pregnant. Those specialists really worked hard to find a treatment for me that wouldn’t affect my fertility.
