Ah sure they don't really get it , how can they really as it is not something they can properly empathise with.

I hope things improve for you soon

Delilah7 · 21/01/2019 18:00

@Porridgeprincess thank you lovely x x

Jummynbean · 21/01/2019 19:59

@Delilah7 it's not in heard of to get antenatal depression. Some times the stuff we can handle on a daily basis really knocks us for 6 when pregnant. Me and my partner have been really down about life and working before baby, but now I wake up in the morning and I just don't know how I get through each day. But by the time 5 pm rolls around its all good :)

Mine is due July 2nd 4 days after my little girls 4th birthday find out what it is in 2 weeks excited xx

Jummynbean · 22/01/2019 18:37

@Squeakybubbles26 hope your scan went well today x

Squeakybubbles26 · 22/01/2019 20:09

@Georgeofthejungle the bubble feeling feels like you can feel bubbles moving or popping. Hard to describe but when you feel it you'll know what I mean :)

@Jummynbean scan went well thank you :) dates me a day earlier as well making me 13 weeks exactly today!

How's every one feeling? I dunno if it's cos of the cold I've got but feeling rough! Horrible headache ahhhh! However .. I did have horrible headaches with DD1 at this stage! God help me!

Jummynbean · 22/01/2019 20:34

@Squeakybubbles26 brilliant news!! X I've had mild cold and head aches, nothing too severe but bloody constant!

Bunnybaubles · 22/01/2019 22:24

Saw the obstetricians at hospital and they've started me on metformin for the diabetes now.

On a happier note tho, DP has booked a private gender scan for 2 weeks on Sunday! He went all out and included the whole 4d package, so excited 😆

Has anyone had the 4d scan before, is it any good?

rach2019 · 23/01/2019 09:04

I started with a virus Monday and haven't left my bed since!! it's made me even more breathless and have stabbing pains everytime i cough or sneeze. Also doesnt help that I'm still struggling to keep food down, its annoying how things online say sickness ends at 12 weeks. 14+3 now and it doesnt seem like its going anywhere :(

Porridgeprincess · 23/01/2019 09:40

Oh Rachel sounds horrible, you poor thing.

Oh, can't wait to feel the bubbles!!

BeckyButterfly · 23/01/2019 16:24

@rach2019 I’m 14 weeks today and still vomiting. I know people who were sick through their whole pregnancy, I hope that’s not us!

rach2019 · 23/01/2019 16:57

Everyone I've spoken to has been like "oh i was never sick!", i feel like screaming haha. Ive been sick everyday for the last 2 months!! Hopefully its over soon. I didnt think i would struggle this much quite early.
At least in a few months we'll have our babies and it will all be worth it :)

Jummynbean · 23/01/2019 18:40

I totally sympathise with you both X I can't understand how anyone can go through that and have another kid to look after!

Curiosity to find out how many of you are first timers, and those that aren't, which number kid will this one be Smile

BeckyButterfly · 23/01/2019 19:47

First one for me @Jummynbean I couldn’t imagine looking after another one whilst feeling like this! I swear some ladies are superheroes!

Squeakybubbles26 · 23/01/2019 19:54

@Jummynbean this is baby number 2 for us 😊 whilst putting a very tired and grumpy DD1 to bed earlier I thought omg soon I'll have two children to contend to at bedtime 🙄!
Least then I can have wine tho 😁😁

Eyespywithmycynicaleye · 23/01/2019 20:31

@Jummynbean number 4 for me 😳 But DS and DD1 are 20 and 18 so not sure if that counts 😂 DD2 is 7 months old now so that's gonna be a challenge when this one arrives!!

@Squeakybubbles26 OMG I miss the wine!! Atm I'm making do with having a sniff of DP's Jim Beam 😭😂

GabbyGal · 23/01/2019 20:38

@Jummynbean first baby for us and also can’t imagine having any more to look after right now, I’ve been in bed since 8pm 😂

Squeakybubbles26 · 23/01/2019 20:42

@Eyespywithmycynicaleye sniffing isn't the same 😥 however that first taste once they are here is worth it lol!

@GabbyGal I can't last past 9 even when I wasn't pregnant! I think being pregnant or having child is a perfect excuse for an early night 😊

Jummynbean · 23/01/2019 21:15

Hahaha oh it's so lovely to hear about all your lovely little ones :😁

@Eyespywithmycynicaleye I can't believe this will be your 4th, I can't imagine it. I'm the youngest of 4 and love being in a big family, but the idea of being a parent of 4 is something else! Did you always want a lot of kids?

BeckyButterfly · 23/01/2019 21:29

I’ve been in bed since 8pm as well 😊 and the only silver lining of feeling sick all the time is that I haven’t missed alcohol one bit. The thought of it makes me feel very queasy!

mummytogirl · 24/01/2019 00:22

I wouldn't panic too much, my baby was back to back, she came at 38+6 it was a very fast and intense labour and the she actually turn round as she was coming out, well that's what I was told from the midwife. As she was my first baby I was told back to back birth are more painful however as she was my first I didn't have anything to compare too, so it made no difference, good luck tho!! Xx

mummytogirl · 24/01/2019 00:25

So sorry posted wrong forum 🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

rach2019 · 24/01/2019 08:25

This is my first!! (and last if i feel like this the whole way haha)

MissKatyKat · 24/01/2019 10:25

@Jummynbean this is my second, my daughter is nearly 5 months old! I think for the first couple of years I'll be so tired and stressed I won't even remember my own name, but after that it might be nice to have two close together! :)
