Ah amazing @gabbygal - I was tempted to tell mine after my 9 week scan but changed my mind so Xmas day it is, all being well 🤞🏼 I feel like they know though!

GabbyGal · 19/12/2018 13:01

That’ll be so lovely, what a nice Christmas present for everyone!

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/12/2018 13:16

My scan isn't til mid Jan but we've had a private scan so going to tell my family this Sunday as we're all getting together, then his family Xmas day :) so excited now I've just finished making his mum a photo calendar , can't wait to see the penny drop when she flicks through to July lol

Mayjane5 · 19/12/2018 22:04

First appointment with midwife is start of January so presume scan will be a week or so after earliest they could get me in.

Georgeofthejungle · 19/12/2018 22:16

My mum, dad, in-laws and siblings know. And so does a few of my friends. And my sons playgroup leaders as they informed me today.. I’m a bit rubbish at keeping secrets.

How’s everyone feeling? I’m sooo tired today. I read somewhere that week 9 is when the nausea etc peaks. I must admit my sensitivity to strong smells seems to be intensified this week. And there is a jar of hotdogs in the cupboard that male me want to be sick just looking at me. I might get try DH to throw them out! Also an old plugin under the sink has stunk everything up with this sweet smell and even though I’ve cleaned it and thrown it out it’s still so strong. It makes me gag!

I make cakes and I’ve 10 to get out this week. The thought of the buttercream also turns my stomach! Wish me luck.. think I might need it.

Skystar12 · 19/12/2018 23:01

Hello :)

Congratulations to everyone! I am due 31st July 2019 and currently feeling awful.. nausea, back pain, bad skin, sore boobs and absolutely shattered..

I had to have a TFMR at 14 weeks in January as our wee girl has severe anencephaly so more than happy to be suffering all these lovely symptoms again :)

Had an early scan at 7+3 which all looked great but anxiously awaiting that 12 week scan so we can hopefully feel better that this little baby is a healthy one.

Emotional nervous wreck added to the list lol!

Winona1 · 20/12/2018 07:28

10 weeks today! Feeling very sick and irritable 👀 How is everyone?

GabbyGal · 20/12/2018 13:49

I’m so nauseous all the time and have come down with some sort of virus so I’ve taken a couple of days off work, feeling pretty miserable and sorry for myself!

BlueberryCat · 20/12/2018 16:14

@Winona1 feeling very sick and tired! Haven't been throwing up, but feel nauseas most of the time.

Haven't felt myself for ages now! I'm hoping this changes when the second trimester arrives!

ReginaPhalange89 · 20/12/2018 16:41

I've been ok today, managed to get out without the wee one and get the Xmas shopping finished so feeling productive ! I had a horrid dream last night though that I was miscarrying , so I woke in a bit of a panic. Felt a bit nauseous most of the day but it mostly feels like I'm hungry 🙈 but nothing I eat is helping.

Mayjane5 · 20/12/2018 17:31

@Georgeofthejungle I really hope that’s not true I’ll be 9 weeks on Christmas Day would suck if I was ill. Good luck with the cake making. I’m feeling nauseous most of the day and night now but not actually been sick. I keep trying to eat a biscuit or something small throughout the day but it doesn’t help, other symptoms boobs are the size of planets!! 😄

Mrstobe90 · 20/12/2018 17:55

@Skystar12 congratulations on your pregnancy! Fingers crossed that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy xx

HayleyHaystack · 20/12/2018 18:55

I had my 12 week scan today. Miraculously all was well. Feel very shocked and a little bit in disbelief. They’ve also brought me forward by a day to the 3rd. Hearing the heartbeat was one of the wierdest moments of my life. Praying this good news continues x

GabbyGal · 20/12/2018 18:59

That’s great to hear @HayleyHaystack congratulations!

HayleyHaystack · 20/12/2018 19:20

Thank you so much @gabbygal

Georgeofthejungle · 20/12/2018 21:20

Awesome news @hayleyhaystack!

Thank you @Maryjane5! Well to Ben honest I’m 9+2 today and don’t feel any ‘worse’ than normal. Just more cravings and sensitivity to smells.

Today I nearly ate a whole jar of pickled onions Shock I’m such a stereotype! Would have been somewhat low calorie if it wasn’t for the big block of cheese I cut myself to go with them Hmm xx

Mrstobe90 · 20/12/2018 22:07

After thinking (wishing) I'd avoided vomiting in this pregnancy, I had my first puke this evening! I really really hope that this isn't the start of it.

Winona1 · 20/12/2018 22:40

@Mrstobe90 I'm 10 wks and only actually been sick twice so far.. I think that's pretty good going!! I find that if I just keep eating constantly that I don't feel sick , I'm gunna be HUGE

Jummynbean · 21/12/2018 00:02

I'm 10 weeks 2 days, all my symptoms have stopped but I had an early scan today and everything was great! Got to see it's little flickering heart beat xxxx so happy

Ell012018 · 21/12/2018 13:04

Can i join? EDD is 14.07.19 ...Im a bit of a worried one!!.. although I try my best best not too i had an ectopic pregnancy in July so I'm keen for everything to go well!!!!!

Bunnybaubles · 21/12/2018 20:46

Eeeeeeeek I'm so excited!! DP just surprised me with a private scan, for tomorrow!!

There was no availability where we are so after telling me I'll just have to wait till my 12 week scan (which devastated me cause its sooooo far into the future it was hard to visualise - 16th January) he searched further away and booked one!!

How are you all getting on with your symptoms? I've had a symptom free day, for the first time!! No feeling nausious, not even that tired! My fingers are well tightly crossed this is the new norm from now on 😁

Jummynbean · 21/12/2018 21:11

@bunmybaubles, marry him if you haven't already 😂 I panicked about my symptom free days but everything was great! Can't wait to hear how you get on xx

Jummynbean · 21/12/2018 21:12

Also here is my 10 week 2 day old baby bear

July 2019
Bunnybaubles · 21/12/2018 22:19

@Jummynbean that is one gorgeous little old baby bear ❤ I can't wait to see mine tomorrow 😃

After feeling rotten for weeks i guess I'm just greatful to be symptom free, I needed time off from wanting stinky olives 😖

DP proposed last year 😁

Winona1 · 23/12/2018 10:56

Hi everyone ! I'm 10+3 and my symptoms have disappeared the past 5 days - should I be worried?
