Just checking in! My DS decide S to put my phone down the loo whilst I was in the shower so I’ve been phoneless for a couple of days. I’m missing it!

Yes, yes yes to feeling knackered and rough all the time @squeakybubbles26. I’m running around after a 2 year old as well.

The sickness isn’t as bad as my DS but I don’t remember being this tired and grumpy first time round.

So sorry to hear Such sad news @Jalf. Hope you are taking care of yourself x

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 12:23

I've just called and changed my scan appt to tonight ! At 7+2. I'm too impatient to wait another 11 days.

So nervous now. Going alone too!

GabbyGal · 12/12/2018 12:50

Oh good luck @ReginaPhalange89! I’m sure it will go great x

Bunnybaubles · 12/12/2018 12:53

Aww that's a shame you're having to go alone @Regina. Then again when you see your tiny baby 😉
Finally got round to booking my 1st midwife appointment, 8th Jan and my 12 week scan is 16th.
I saw clearly I was having a girl at DD's 12 week scan so I'm hoping I can tell thus time too.
My friend is being induced thus afternoon, I wish it was me lol.

FuzzyPixel · 12/12/2018 13:01

@Georgeofthejungle - oh no! What a nightmare about the phone. Hope all is sorted now.

@ReginaPhalange89 I will look forward to the next update post-scan. I hope it all goes lovely for you.

I had my booking in appointment today which went better than I could have imagined. I felt really reassured by the midwife who was lovely. 12 week scan is booked in for 10th January - I cannot wait. I'm looking forward to seeing how baby has grown.

Nausea is still horrid, and I've lost a little weight but I am sure I will start to gain it in no time. Smile

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Amelia910 · 12/12/2018 13:28

Me too! 19th July. I’m having awful sickness and exhausted all the time. It’s my first pregnancy xx

Georgeofthejungle · 12/12/2018 15:05

@bunnybaubles I’ll be sending you my scan pic to see if you can tell then :)

I know there’s isn’t really anything to tell by but I’m convinced this babe is a girl! There is a history of boys on my DH’s side but I did read that it’s not just the male that determines the babies sex. I’ll be really surprised if it’s a boy! Especially if my mood swings are anything to go by. My poor DH was hiding in the kitchen the other night because I was like a bear with a sore head!!
Before I fell pregnant I was pretty sure I’d get a sexing scan but now I actually am I’m not going to. It’s all part of the fun isn’t it! X

Bunnybaubles · 12/12/2018 15:21

@Georgeofthejungle hahaha I could only tell after a very good look from under the bum 😂

I watched loads of you tube videos before showing how to tell the sex at 12 weeks so when I saw 3 little parralel lines inbetween the legs I knew!!

I can totally relate to the mood swings. I ended my relationship last night... DH knows I didn't mean it (although i carried on the pretence this morning and didnt speak to him) and I'm surprising him with a lovely dinner when he gets home from work 😁

He had a go at me for eating all the cheese 😂

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 15:34

@georgeofthejungle I thought it WAS the male that determined the sex ? Because our eggs are all 'x' chromosome and the male can be either x or y.... ? So I keep telling my OH anyway when he's hoping not to be outnumbered 😂

Mrstobe90 · 12/12/2018 17:31

Around 9 weeks. Cramping and I've had pink spotting. Really hoping that everything's ok!

aisling18 · 12/12/2018 19:05

@Mrstobe90 hope everything's ok, that happened my sister with her first pregnancy and everything was fine, stay positive and keep us posted x

@Bunnybaubles I laughed so much.... over cheese..... love it!!! 💜

I'm still not sleeping well, awake again at 4.30 this morning couldn't go back to sleep and then had to leave for work at 7 😫
Having some nausea but I've a feeling is going to get a lot worse! I'm not eating until after 3in the day - can't stomach it!
I'm 8+3 - I think! I've another scan next Tuesday! Can't wait.

Loujonesy · 12/12/2018 19:49

Due in Late July. Not had scan yet mind. 3rd pregnancy... Feeling very nauseous all day and struggling for energy etc. Anyone got advise? Got hospitalised last pregnancy as twins......

Georgeofthejungle · 12/12/2018 22:31

@reginaphalange89 well I did a bit more reading and actually it is the male that prodominantly determines sex! There are a history of boys on my DH side. We really need a girl!!

@bunnybaubles I’ll be keeping an eye out. My friend was actually told at her nhs scan this year! Hilarious argument over cheese. 😂

Georgeofthejungle · 12/12/2018 22:33

P.s. awaiting scan update @reginaphalange89

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 22:35

It went well ! Healthy little bean with a strong heartbeat and measuring just as I expected ! So I'm very relieved. Managed to get a decent shot too compared to some others I've seen from this early

teacuptale · 12/12/2018 23:07

Hi all, I’m due in July too. I’m almost 11 weeks. Not had a scan yet and I’m panicking about everything being ok. I’m checking the post every day for my scan appointment letter.

Bunnybaubles · 12/12/2018 23:23

Well, dinner was a hit and our relationship is back on track. I also replaced the cheese 😁

That's great news about your scan @ReginaPhalange89. Your wee bean is adorable 😊 Aww I can't wait to see mine!

@Loujonesy I've been really struggling with exhaustion and nausea too. I'm lucky my 6 month old DD loves long naps, so I try nap with her. Sweet things like sponge cake (specifically double chocolate gateaux) and sugar free fuzzy juice have helped with the sicky feeling.

I was also hospitalised with my last pregnancy, I had pre-eclampsia so was induced at 35 weeks. Hats off to you having twins tho!!!

Loujonesy · 13/12/2018 07:30

@Bunnybaubles twins were definitely an experience lol. Just hoping for 1 this time though. They were born at 31 weeks. My eldest was born at 36. Docs have me some anti sickness tablets yesterday to try. X

Blondie2005 · 13/12/2018 08:47

Ladies I’m absolutely terrified. I went to the hospital Sunday because I keep spotting. I’m 7+6 today and at 11:15 I have an internal scan to try and find out what is happening. I’ve already had 2 miscarriages I don’t think I could go through the heartbreak of that again. I’ve never had an internal scan before so I am nervous. I really hope that they find a heartbeat and that the spotting is nothing sinister. 🤞🏻

aisling18 · 13/12/2018 10:19

@Blondie2005 try not to worry about the internal. If it was again I'd choose the internal over the full bladder belly scan ! It's very straightforward, i didn't find it uncomfortable at all. The device is long but not wide so it won't hurt xx Hope everything goes ok for you xxx I'm sure it will xx keep us posted xx

Bunnybaubles · 13/12/2018 11:44

Is anyone suffering from baby brain yet?? Ohh I suffered this spectacularly in my last pregnancy, but it's starting early with this one 😂😂

aisling18 · 13/12/2018 13:19

@Bunnybaubles absolutely! My colleague asked me yesterday if I had one pile of paperwork done and I said no. She said it's done and I said it wasn't me who did it anyway! When in actual fact I had done it a few hours earlier and forgot ! 😂😂😂

MakeAWhish · 13/12/2018 13:50

Good luck @Blondie2005 I hope all is well x

GabbyGal · 13/12/2018 13:56

@Bunnybaubles yes to baby brain! Latest example was forgetting to get off the lift at my floor in work earlier and ended up back on the ground floor!

GabbyGal · 13/12/2018 13:57

Congratulations @ReginaPhalange89, delighted to hear it went well xx
