Aww bless you . I had bad nausea with my previous two but I actually don't have many symptoms yet this time, which I've been worrying about but think it's just early ! I've had cramping and headaches but no nausea yet, I'm kind of hoping it'll kick in soon and stop me eating cos it seems to be all I do right now 🙈 got my booking in appt next week and worried I'm gonna put loads of weight on before then 😂

Have you tried sickness bands ? If not I'd get some , they don't take it away completely but definitely helped to ease mine ! Mine usually lasted from 6 -14/15 weeks

Delilah7 · 03/12/2018 13:04

Right ladies tell me your thoughts.
Been off work all week except last Monday - back today. On anti sickness tablets and have the Hyperemesis thing... I have to take each day as it comes. Been sick this morning twice however went in to work. Had a meeting to be told ' we can't work day from day we need a plan so you either be signed off or come in'. ' some people are tougher than others and you are emotional'. Should I just say fuck you and sign off anyways 😂😂I want to work but with them not being as understanding I think it's gonna be difficult.

Period gagging, constant dizziness. Sore boobs (but better today). To be honest I panic slightly when I feel ok. Find a good gagging and painful bosom quite reassuring, also feel knackered I’m 6+6 days today

Georgeofthejungle · 03/12/2018 14:57

Option 1 for me @delilah7. Cheeky bar stewards. I’d Ben raging at being called emotional and tell them to stuff if! In a totally non emotional way!!

I’ve been cleaning my house today which has helped me keep my mind off feeling sick. Currently cosy in my bed and have got DS watching gruffalo on the iPad so he’ll chill out for a wee while. Need to go to the post office but I really can’t be bothered 😴

Delilah7 · 03/12/2018 14:58

@Georgeofthejungle just not a nice way to put it. I get they run a business and there's only a few in the office but that's not the bloody point man!

Georgeofthejungle · 03/12/2018 18:28

@delilah7 they should just plan for you not to be there and if you are then it’s a bonus!

Well I dragged myself out of the cosy covers of my bed and went to the post office in the pouring rain. Had a microwave sweet and sour meal for dinner. Anyone else only able to eat exactly what they fancy?

Also anyone else been having hot flushes? I had one in Tesco and had to take my jacket off. I felt like I was going to keel over!

Delilah7 · 03/12/2018 18:29

@Georgeofthejungle exactly!!! I don't understand why they can't just take it day by day. Defo understand with the what you fancy thing 😂 if I don't want it I can't bear to eat it. And hot flushes yes!

Georgeofthejungle · 03/12/2018 18:30

@flyfisherlady is this your first? I read somewhere that the boob pain is worse in the first pregnancy and eases off in subsequent. Although I didn’t really get any first time round and don’t really have it now so not sure how much truth is in it 🤔

Georgeofthejungle · 03/12/2018 18:33

@delilah7 I have some chocolate cupcakes in the kitchen I can’t bear to look at!! I made a heap for a fayre and I think I’ve just spent too long looking at them now. I know they will be delicious but the thought of having one makes my stomach turn!

rach2019 · 03/12/2018 19:49

This is my first and the boob pain is horrendous!! Ive actually been looking for tips on how to ease it, already wearing maternity bras and I'm only 7+5!! I also realised that this is the most tired ive ever felt (and im sure theres more to come), if i ever said i was tired before i wasnt lol. I'm also having issues with work, as i work with people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours, really struggling with the stressful situations and unsure whether i should get a transfer? I dont really want to tell work this early :(

Flyfisherlady · 03/12/2018 20:02

@georgeofthejungle yup 1st for me. Recommend a Uniqulo bra worn at night.

P

KinCat · 03/12/2018 23:17

Yes to Uniqlo bras! My boobs have calmed down a bit now at 7+1. It seems to vary so much day by day how I feel. Absolutely shattered at the weekend but now I'm feeling ok (maybe because I haven't got out of bed yet!)

Mumof4J · 04/12/2018 08:34

Hi ladies I’m due 9th July this will be my 5th baby. 9 weeks today and scan on Xmas Eve Smile just seeing if anyone is going through the same. For a few days now I seem to have no symptoms really (sickness, tired etc) I had bad sickness 2 weeks ago and was exhausted. I have still gone off certain foods and some smells make me feel sick but I’ve not experienced this with my other 4 and I can’t help but worry.

Delilah7 · 04/12/2018 09:04

@Mumof4J I'm 9 weeks today too! 😘 nice you got a scan before Xmas my scan date hasn't come yet z

MakeAWhish · 04/12/2018 09:23

@Mumof4J no symptoms here either really, apart from sore boobs (6+2) but I didn't have any symptoms with my other 2 DC either so am not worried. Every pregnancy is different I hear! How nice to have a scan on Xmas eve!

GabbyGal · 04/12/2018 10:51

My only real symptoms are sore boobs and occasional mild cramping. I’m also tired and getting a lot of heartburn, but I suffer with that anyway. 8+6 today, scan booked for next Tuesday Smile

Georgeofthejungle · 04/12/2018 13:29

Got my booking in appointment with the Mid Wife on Thursday. Unlikely we’ll have a scan this side of the new year. I won’t be 12 weeks until mid January. I’m feeing so sleepy today. My husband is home early so might take advantage and go for a lie down for a while.
Sickness is still raging although wasnt feeing too bad this morning. I’m working tonight and I have to go and be happy and smiley and motivating and I feel awful and bloated. Great!

Mumof4J · 04/12/2018 14:31

@Delilah7 oh wow really Smile Yh I got mine last week were all so excited. Hopefully u will get urs through soon x

AstroKate · 04/12/2018 15:22

Hey all

So midwife has put the wind right up me! Was given a first appt for 15th December (exciting) and mentioned the bleeding id had.

The midwife I spoke to said 'in my experience that's not normal' and is insisting I go to early pregnancy scanning tomorrow.

I am now petrified! Everything I've read says it's normal (very small amount brown blood with no cramping) but according to her it's something to worry about Shock

Georgeofthejungle · 04/12/2018 15:52

@Astrokate How are you feeling now? Has the bleeding stopped? Don’t stress, if anything you will get an early sneaky peak at your little babe x

AstroKate · 04/12/2018 16:05

That's the thing-I haven't really had many pregnancy symptoms other than sporadic sickness (not much) but I've also not had any cramping etc.

Despite DH telling me not to worry I am more than a little stressed now!!

And unfortunately DH is chairing a big meeting tomorrow that he simply can't get out of so am going solo. Haven't told parents yet and my DM who I love dearly is a worrier so would rather not have her with me.

Really hoping I just get a sneak peak and nothing awful! 🤞🤞

mumofone25 · 04/12/2018 18:36

Anybody else having heart palpitations and extreme dizzy spells? I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and feeling awful. It’s been so long since I had my DD that I can’t remember the first trimester at all!

RanchoRelaxo · 04/12/2018 18:39

Yea @mumofone25 I was getting weird heart palpitations the other night when I was in bed and was actually quite worried, told myself I would go doctors the next day but when I woke up they had stopped and nothing since!

Oh @AstroKate what a way to scare you, will keep my fingers crossed that you see a lovely tiny bean tomorrow and it's just a precaution scan

vixy1988 · 04/12/2018 19:44

I am 6 weeks and 4 days and my doctor won't see me until 2nd missed period so my appointment is December 14th

I have a private scan on the 7th where I will be 8weeks and 3 days.

I'm just worried that I haven't had my first midwife or booking in appointment. Do they usually happen quite quickly? BexSue my 12 week scan will be due in January.

Sorry, my first so not sure what to expect

Georgeofthejungle · 05/12/2018 08:37

Good luck today @astrokate. Let us know how you get on.

@vixy1988 - you should get your booking in appointment with the midwife between 8 and 10 weeks :)
