Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and that I’ll be due in May. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have no children so I’m really nervous! It’s still really early but would love to talk to other people due in May. Even though I know it’s still really early and lots of people may not know their due date yet!

Hello, We're trying for our first baby. Pregnancy number 2. I had an mmc at 10 weeks +5 in May. Got my BFP on Tuesday. I'm 4 weeks + 2 today. But think I might be further on as think I ovulated a few days early. Due date I think is 23rd May. We are both really happy and excited but also cautious after last time. Anyone have the same due date?

Russell19 · 15/09/2018 14:31

@toomuchtv88 I'm the same.... I hope it gets easier. :(

toomuchtv88 · 15/09/2018 14:44

@Russell19 me too :-( today I'm meant to be 5 and 4 but no real symptoms since Wednesday 🤔

Blessedmummy147 · 15/09/2018 15:34

Hi ladies,

I have just had a very strong BFP!! I have a 7 year old daughter and have been trying for baby number 2 for about 5 years, due date should be around the 4th May . I'm super excited but also anxious!!!

sprinkleofsunshine · 15/09/2018 19:14

Hello, can I join please. Found out last week I'm pregnant, I'm 4+2 going by when I think I ovulated. Online due date calculator says due 22nd May Grin

I too have had two very early losses and this will be my first baby. Bloods last week confirmed pregnancy and a repeat test confirmed hcg doubling as it should. Dr wants to retest Monday to ensure still going up as so early.

So excited but also very anxious. Just want these blood tests over and good news. No real symptoms as of yet, sore bbs, slight cramping, back ache but that's all x

Russell19 · 15/09/2018 20:12

@toomuchtv88 what symptoms did you have before? Please try not to worry although easier said than done. Have you had any appointments yet?

@sprinkleofsunshine hello! Sorry about your losses :( wishing you all the best. We have the same did date!!!! Sounds like we are having exact same symptoms too xx

sprinkleofsunshine · 15/09/2018 20:16

Hi @Russell19 thank you! So great to be able to speak to people in exact same position. Is this your first pregnancy?

Worrying no real symptoms as of yet and feeling fine! Heard that's quite normal until about 6 or so weeks though.

Russell19 · 15/09/2018 20:21

Yes it is but im such a worrier about everything! Wondering whether to get a private early scan....not sure. My husband isn't too sure on it.

Well yeah I was worrying about the cramps as a symptom but been told that it's normal. We will probably be hit by the worst sickness now we have said this! Haha. Xx

toomuchtv88 · 15/09/2018 22:32

@Russell19 I had loads of cramps at the beginning of my last pregnancy and was told it was normal (plus baby was fine at that point!) so don't stress about that :) someone once said to me that cramp was a good sign as it meant baby was getting nice and settled in!!!

I did have sickness and cramp but now nothing!! I had loads of cramp last time like I said above but nothing since about a week ago now! :-/ praying to god everything is going okay!

expatlife · 16/09/2018 05:58

@Blessedmummy147 congrats! We had been trying for just under 18 months, so very excited. Will be just under 3 years between DC with my due date 11 May.
Just counting down the next 6 weeks now! Morning sickness has kicked in the last few days too ShockConfused

Pancakes7 · 16/09/2018 07:27

I had really bad sickness Wednesday and Thursday. Was off work. Had a headache too it was awful. Luckily now I only have nausea but I can eat more now. Still a bit fussy though. Boobs are hurting alot. I've booked a scan for 7 weeks. After last time we want to be sure everything is ok this time. Trying to keep positive and not let the fear take over.

Blessedmummy147 · 16/09/2018 07:56

@expatlife Thankyou so much and same to you , I’m kind of in this “ I can’t quite believe it “ period where it doesn’t seem real ! I took the test almost completely convinced it would be negative but the test line came up straight away !

I’ve got nausea but not sure if that’s pregnancy related as I have a few stomach issues anyway .... never really had symptoms with any of my pregnancies except sore boobs , tingly nipples and a late period of course !

Hope things continue to go well for everyone 💕

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 08:13

@toomuchtv88 I woke in the night with cramps and have continued this morning. Heard it is normal but still worrying, they are like af cramps and probably a bit more than mild though not intense and thankfully no blood. We're yours similar? X

toomuchtv88 · 16/09/2018 15:09

@sprinkleofsunshine yes :-) just felt like mild period cramps :-) don't worry it's normal unless you bleed or have severe xx

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 17:02

Thanks @toomuchtv88 I have read that also it's just a bit worrying when they start! But they went as soon as they came anyway x

toomuchtv88 · 16/09/2018 17:16

@sprinkleofsunshine no worries :-) it's a happy but nerve wracking time!

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 17:49

@toomuchtv88 it really is!

everythingisnew · 16/09/2018 19:57

Hi everyone.

I'm completely new to this! My (like clockwork) period didn't show on Tuesday and I gave in and tested this morning.

I worked out I'm 4+5 with a due date around 21 May.

My partner and I started trying last month, and seem to have been very lucky (keeping fingers and toes crossed for a few weeks yet!).

I don't seem to have too many symptoms yet, just extremely tired, sensitive nipples, and a reduced appetite.

We are over the moon with the news so just trying to keep it to ourselves for a little while yet and work out what we need to do next!

Redken24 · 16/09/2018 20:11

Congratulations! X

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 20:14

Congratulations @everythingisnew I'm due the day after you by my own dates Grin

everythingisnew · 16/09/2018 20:22

Thanks guys - it's so exciting but I'm extremely nervous about doing everything right and everything being ok!

@sprinkleofsunshine yey almost due date buddy! Hopefully I'm pretty accurate with my calculations lol but we will see! How are you feeling?

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 20:26

Same here. I'm actually feeling pretty good at the moment. I found out at 3 weeks exactly and am in process of having bloods monitored to ensure hcg going up as I've had two previous early losses. Doubled last week though and hopefully last one tomorrow been good so far so fx all is well.

I've just got sore bbs, nipples, especially at night. Bit of cramping but that's about it really. How are you X

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/09/2018 20:26

@everythingisnew

everythingisnew · 16/09/2018 20:33

Fingers crossed @sprinkleofsunshine

I'm not feeling too bad at all yet, the only symptom that's 'bothering' me at all is constant tiredness.. no matter how long I sleep for.

I have snapped at everyone for a week before finding out, at least I kind of know why now!Grin

Amolly · 16/09/2018 20:55

@everythingisnew it's like we're the same person aha. My af was due Tuesday aswell and was a no show. I tested earlier tho so I was very much just hoping it wouldnt show. Also due 21st May. Congrats

@sprinkleofsunshine sorry for your losses, hope all goes well for you tomorrow

X
