Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and that I’ll be due in May. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have no children so I’m really nervous! It’s still really early but would love to talk to other people due in May. Even though I know it’s still really early and lots of people may not know their due date yet!

Hello ladies,

Do any of you ladies also suffer from massive bloating these days?! I'm ok in the morning but irrelevant to what I eat, by the evening I look like I'm 6 months pregnant and I'm just really uncomfortable...

I went for dinner yesterday with some friends and none of my usual trousers fit! I could barely do the button over the bloat! This looks to be fairly common in early pregnancy so this doesn't worry me. Just wondering if any of you are also experiencing The Bloat and if you have any tips to help fight it :)

Laura19994 · 17/09/2018 14:29

Is it normal for preganancy symptoms to come and go and to have yellow discharge buy no bad smell, I'm due I'm may and I has a miscarriage in march so I'm really worried as I'm really excited to have a baby and I just want everything to be fine

Redken24 · 17/09/2018 14:35

More water for the bloat! Had to stop taking pregnacare cause that made it worse well th constipation did. Lol
Also dishcharges is sooo normal in pregnancy! Early pregnancy symptoms do come and go so you may feel nausea and or vomit sometimes. Dizziness is quite common but if you don't feel good listen to your body and take it a bit slower it will thank you x

Amolly · 17/09/2018 15:10

@everythingisnew thanks.

@sprinkleofsunshine that's good. Have you been today? X

Blessedmummy147 · 17/09/2018 17:29

I bloat too and already got swollen legs and feet 😫

toomuchtv88 · 17/09/2018 19:43

Hi ladies! Hope all is well with everyone tonight! I'm just plodding along :-) kind of feel a bit in denial about this whole pregnancy, because of my loss earlier this year I feel like I'm jinxing it if I get too excited!! I think I've gone crazy!

I'm going to book in for an early scan in two weeks when I should be about 8 weeks :-)

Russell19 · 17/09/2018 19:45

Oooooh I'm thinking the same @toomuchtv88 I'm hoping a heartbeat will make me relax. 12 weeks is so far away! X

sprinkleofsunshine · 17/09/2018 19:45

Yes bloating massively! Been doing the hairband trick on my jeans for about a week, feel like I'm cheating as obv not anything to do with the baby yet.

Also had my first bout of sickness today, not actual but just nausea.

@Amolly yes I did, they were 178 last Monday on my first visit, 420 on my second on Wednesday and now just waiting for the results of today! X

toomuchtv88 · 17/09/2018 19:49

@Russell19 it seems ages doesn't it!!! I made a midwife appt today but they can't see me until I'm 10 weeks! So Im having to skip my initial appt and just go straight to the booking in appt! Luckily I know all the information from last time ! A bit pleased tbh because I hated going to the appt at 7 weeks and then finding out baby wasn't growing properly a week later. This way I can be in denial and relax a bit more 🙈 major guilt over how I feel during this pregnancy compared to last time when I planned so much!!

Russell19 · 17/09/2018 19:53

Would you advise against an early scan at 7 weeks then?? As that's when I was thinking xx

em254 · 17/09/2018 20:20

I have major bloat... coming up to 6 weeks and I think I’m going to have to dig all my old maternity stuff soon as my work trousers are ready to burst! 😬

toomuchtv88 · 17/09/2018 20:34

@Russell19 oh I meant my midwife appt ! I know some people say not to get an early scan but for me it helped me prepare myself (our baby had a heartbeat but was growing really slowly) and I think that made it easier than if I'd just arrived at 12 weeks to find out there was a problem. We didn't actually lose baby until 13 weeks but I'd had lots of time to make peace with the situation if that makes sense!
I'm having an early scan again :-)

em254 · 18/09/2018 07:35

I’m having an early scan booked privately. My reasons being that I’d like to know there is a heartbeat before we tell our nearest and dearest.

I had implantation bleeding and feel I just need the reassurance to keep my mind at peace. Only 2 more weeks to wait!

MrsChance · 18/09/2018 07:47

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining! I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm due on May 30th! Still early days but so excited.

Already have a little boy who is 4 months old (we decided we wanted to have siblings really close in age!). Hope everyone is feeling okay! Smile

buntingandstarcharts · 18/09/2018 07:55

Hi everyone - great to come across this thread! ❤️ We've been trying for 11 months and on Friday I got my BFP! I still can't even believe my eyes and have been testing at least 4 times a day since 🤣🤣 I actually am much more nervous than I thought I'd be - I feel sooo hopeful it will stick and sooo hopeful that it's all ok. It's so hard not to let your fantasties run wild....! Especially since my only symptoms were that I had no period symptoms, at all. My boobs aren't sore etc, is this normal? Due 29th May.... it's great to be able to talk to you girls as I'm not telling anyone else. Early scan - is that at 7 weeks? Xx good luck everyone xxx ps anyone else feeling absolutely fat as a house?!?

BeautifulSlang · 18/09/2018 08:12

Morning ladies,

I'm 5+3 today, and petrified to do another test, especially CBD in case I don't get that positive or 3+ weeks. Only symptoms are sore boobs, but even that's eased off the past few days.

Had a call off the midwife yesterday though and have my booking in appointment on the 10th October, yay! I'll be around 8 weeks then 🤞

expatlife · 18/09/2018 08:12

I'm also feeling bloated and hardly any of my work trousers fit already (not sure that I can blame that entirely on pregnancy tho! Blush)

I'm going for a scan at 8 weeks, as that's the norm in the country I currently live. Think that will be quite reassuring - only 10 days until the appointment! Feels like the last few weeks have dragged by, just want to get to 12 weeks and feel more relaxed.

everythingisnew · 18/09/2018 08:18

I'm so glad I'm not the only one... my trousers are all already too small and it was making me worry because it's still very early days! Apart from feeling like a whale, the tiredness has hit big time and I'm struggling in the afternoons at work. But I will take that and more for a healthy sticky bean!

Happy Tuesday everyone.

goldopals · 18/09/2018 08:34

My trousers are too small as well. Partially bloat but also because I've been eating non stop.

Russell19 · 18/09/2018 13:24

Hello everyone! Such great, exciting news! @buntingandstarcharts yes a private early scan can be from 6 weeks onwards. Have a look online if there is anywhere near you. I just can't think about waiting until 12 weeks, I'm 5 weeks now so that's 7 weeks away! Seems way too long for me but I am the most impatient person ever xx

Pancakes7 · 18/09/2018 13:27

Hi Everyone, Anyone else got due date same due date as me, 23rd May? I'm counting down the days till my scan. Its Saturday 6th October when I'll be 7+3. Really hoping it'll be all ok. Got booking in appointment Monday 8th October.

Russell19 · 18/09/2018 13:33

I have the same! Well from my own calculations haha! I was thinking of a scan on that same day but haven't booked. I'm guessing that's a private scan? Xx
