Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and that I’ll be due in May. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have no children so I’m really nervous! It’s still really early but would love to talk to other people due in May. Even though I know it’s still really early and lots of people may not know their due date yet!

Haha yes definitely ate all the pies. And sweets. I don't know why but I just have been eating and eating sweets loads.

Bluebird4 · 30/09/2018 15:46

To all those worried about lack of symptoms... try not to! I've had hardly any sickness at all and in reality have felt pretty non pregnant most of the time. I had a reassurance scan today half expecting the worst and all is well... strong heart beat 😊I'm a week further on than I thought, due may the 10th now.

frankiefumbles · 30/09/2018 18:50

@Bluebird4 phew! I'm feeling "not pregnant" today!!
@expatlife I love pie... and congrats!

babygirl92 · 30/09/2018 19:46

I'm due on the 30th May 2019 - anyone near to that date? :)

TheEighthMrsSK · 30/09/2018 19:50

Hi ladies! I’m a little bit late to the party, but I’d thought I’d join you anyway. I took these tests tonight, it’s so early and I haven’t been to the doctors yet, but I’m pretty see I’m pregnant Grin
Going by the date of my last period, I’m due late May. Congratulations to everyone Flowers

Due May 2019
buntingandstarcharts · 30/09/2018 20:14

@expatlife you've made me feel better! I feel like a bowling ball 🤣🤣

buntingandstarcharts · 30/09/2018 20:14

@babygirl92 I'm due about 27th May! Yippee!

frankiefumbles · 30/09/2018 20:17

@TheEighthMrsSK congrats!! And welcome :)

TheEighthMrsSK · 30/09/2018 20:19

Thank you! Flowers @frankiefumbles
@babygirl92 I think I’m due on the 28th of May, but that’s only according to an online calculator thingy

babygirl92 · 30/09/2018 20:23

@buntingandstarcharts - just before me! :D
@TheEighthMrsSK - I calculated mine with an online calculator too :) I use the Ovia Pregnancy app :)

TheEighthMrsSK · 30/09/2018 20:45

Has anyone else been feeling mildly crampy? It’s not painful, just a mild cramping sensation. A quick google suggests this is normal, but I’m worried! I’m going to ring the doctor and tell them the good news tomorrow, and obviously go from there. But I’d love to know if other ladies are getting this?

CeeCee88 · 30/09/2018 20:52

Hi @theEighthMrsSk - I keep having some really mild cramping too but it's never much and it doesn't last long at all.
I've been reading online and some books and they all say it's totally normal and mainly to do with your uterus expanding.

Hi everybody else - just found out I'm pregnant on Tuesday past and absolutely delighted. My wife and I went through fertility treatment and were lucky enough to fall pregnant on our first IUI. Still pinching myself. I've used one of those calculators too and it looks like due date will be 28th May. 😊

TheEighthMrsSK · 30/09/2018 20:54

That’s reassuring thank you @CeeCee88
Due the same day as me! Out of interest do you think you conceived on a certain date? I think I did around the 30th of August

CeeCee88 · 30/09/2018 21:03

@TheEightMrsSK Well we had our IUI on September 8th but my last period was on 22nd August... so who knows! 🤔😊 I'm sure the clinic will confirm when we have our first scan appointment in approximately 3-4 weeks.

em254 · 01/10/2018 08:12

Lovely news about the scans! I have one more sleep to go until mine, feeling anxious and excited!

I also look like I ate all the pies and currently wearing maternity trousers and jeans as none of pre-pregnancy clothes fit 😬

em254 · 01/10/2018 08:22

@TheEigthmrssk Congratulations! I remember you from the September bus 😊 I still kept an eye on after my BFP to see how you girls were getting on. It was a lucky thread!

Breen86 · 01/10/2018 18:46

@sprinkleofsunshine yes sickness has definitely started, I even woke up at 2am to throw up! Anyone else have this? X

TheEighthMrsSK · 01/10/2018 19:32

No sickness here. I feel pretty normal, apart from raging sore boobs! Which is kind of worrying. I think I’d feel reassured if I was feeling sick! I’m having spotting which is also worrying me, is anyone else?

SJR86 · 01/10/2018 19:36

@Breen86 No sickness here either, days where I feel super nauseous though! When did your sickness start? How many weeks are you?

@TheEighthMrsSK I've had some mild cramping all along but no spotting, I'm 7weeks 5days.

Breen86 · 01/10/2018 19:40

@sjr86 I think I'm seven and a half weeks, started a week ago. I didn't get it with my first baby until 8 weeks though and was nowhere near this bad! Xx

Breen86 · 01/10/2018 19:46

@TheEighthMrsSK i didn't get sickness until 8 weeks with my first and he's 18 months old now and super healthy. My sister didn't get much sickness for any of her four pregnancies :) sore boobs is a good sign xx

buntingandstarcharts · 02/10/2018 13:01

@TheEighthMrsSK and@SJR86 I'm so pleased I looked on here today as I was wondering whether my lack of sickness was a bad sign but it seems it's kind of normal x

TheEighthMrsSK · 02/10/2018 13:11

Hi girls, I’m misscarrying so I’m ducking out of this thread. Good luck everyone Flowers

Hughem · 02/10/2018 15:26

Hi fellow May mummies! I'm due end of May so only just found out we're expecting baby no2. So excited and SO impatient! I know I shouldn't wish it away but just want to tell people! Any way congratulations to you all!

sprinkleofsunshine · 02/10/2018 18:07

So sorry to hear that @TheEighthMrsSK look after yourself x
