Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and that I’ll be due in May. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have no children so I’m really nervous! It’s still really early but would love to talk to other people due in May. Even though I know it’s still really early and lots of people may not know their due date yet!

Happy Sunday, all!

Excited to be here ☺️

Got my BFP on friday and according to the pregnancy+ app due 24th May.

No symptoms apart from mild cramping all of yesterday and a very gurgly stomach!

frankiefumbles · 23/09/2018 21:29

@plantingandpotting and all the other new names, welcome.

All I can add right now? Boob ache. It's killing me. All I want to do is lift them up (yes they hang low!!!), and slap them on a table to rest and take the weight off. I'm also contemplating hiring a butler to stand behind me to gentle cup them. Oh my Lord. I can't be doing with them 😂

SpannerH · 23/09/2018 23:10

On a girls holiday atm. Don't smoke any more anyway and stopping e cig didn't bother me. I have just succumb to a small glass of wine with lemonade though. I feel so uptight atm I daren't do anything! Anyone else feel like this?!

goldopals · 24/09/2018 00:06

Dating scan is TODAY! I'm feeling so nervous about it and still have to wait a couple of hours

frankiefumbles · 24/09/2018 09:28

@SpannerH depends how strongly you follow the guidelines. I think most people would have the odd drink after 12 weeks. I'm pretty much teetotal so it's not exactly like I'd start drinking now. People always give me odd looks when I don't drink anyway.

@goldopals good luck!

goldopals · 24/09/2018 10:04

My scan went really well today. I measured at 7+5 which is two days ahead if what we thought. We even have a super clear (for 7 weeks) print out!

Just got back from our 2nd scan. Was petrified but we've got good news! There's a strong heartbeat and baby measures 7+4 which is a couple of days behind what I thought I'd be at but it all looks good for now. I'm not due another scan until 12 weeks now and I don't think I can survive the wait. Will probably splurge on a private scan at 10 weeks to my mind at ease!!

em254 · 24/09/2018 14:29

Lovely news on the scans ladies! Super jealous I have one more week to wait x

Russell19 · 24/09/2018 17:04

@goldopals @leslieLR such amazing news and scans! I'm going in 2 weeks, counting down the days...... can't wait! Xx

sprinkleofsunshine · 24/09/2018 17:51

Great news on the scans Grin x

buntingandstarcharts · 25/09/2018 07:43

Do anyone else's symptoms come and go? My boobs were soooo sore and are now less sore. Panic.

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/09/2018 08:19

Yes my boobs are on and off, even more so last week. I read that is nothing to worry about Smile

Has anyone's sickness started? Mine started at exactly 5 weeks, I'm 5+5 today and it's been every day since. I'm currently living on chocolate chip cookies and quavers 😖

buntingandstarcharts · 25/09/2018 08:22

@sprinkleofsunshine this has made me feel so much better! I convinced myself that it was s bad sign xxx no sickness yet XX

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/09/2018 08:23

Glad to help @buntingandstarcharts how far gone are you?

buntingandstarcharts · 25/09/2018 10:03

Between 5-6 weeks. I'm trying to be cool as a cucumber but feel anxious! X you?

em254 · 25/09/2018 10:50

@buntingandstarcharts Yes my symptoms are coming and going too. One minute I feel sick, tired and sore boobs and the next I feel absolutely fine. I worried too but I think it’s normal.

My friend had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms, felt great all the way through her pregnancy and had a healthy baby. I think everyone and every pregnancy is different xx

Floofsquidge · 25/09/2018 11:54

I mostly post on the 40+ ttc thread; I am 40, and 5+5 weeks pregnant with first child due 23rd May. Symptoms also coming and going. Last week I was so bloated and had such sore (and larger) boobs I had to buy new bras and jeans.

Now I'm panicking I'm going to lose our little bean as I just don't "feel" as pregnant as I did last weekSad

Russell19 · 25/09/2018 12:58

Hi everyone that has posted today. So glad you have all said that as all morning I've been googling about symptoms disappearing. I had cramps, needed to see more and slight headaches....now nothing. Why do we worry so much?! People said previously I should feel lucky I'm ok but the worry that no symptoms bring is far worse! Anyone agree? Xx

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/09/2018 13:06

@buntingandstarcharts I'm 5+5 so around the same. Yes I've heard that too. I'm actually doing quite well at the not worrying but every now and then I do have a panic moment and run off to the loo to check or something, I had a dream last night I had a lovely little boy.

@Floofsquidge we're due date buddies! I'm sure it's normal. I keep telling myself when I'm really sick it's the bean growing but then wishing it would stop, then worrying when it does the little one isn't growing or something! Just can't wait to get over that 12 week mark! I don't know if I feel any less pregnant as such but I definitely feel more used to it now like this is the new normal which makes it even scarier to think of anything going wrong Sad

Xpressivemum · 25/09/2018 16:33

Congratulations all, hope it’s okay to jump on this post.
Just got my BFP 4 days ago , still can’t believe it. This is baby number 2 x

sprinkleofsunshine · 25/09/2018 19:15

Congratulations @Xpressivemum

Bluebird4 · 26/09/2018 07:48

Hi everyone! I'm an oldie! 41 and 7 weeks pregnant. Due on May 13th. I have fab identical twin girls of ten (before that pregnancy I had three early miscarriages) as a second time rounder in a very happy relationship we were shocked that we got pregnant on our first attempt. Guess its fate!! Any older Mums out there?! I have my first midwife appointment this afternoon and a million questions. Have a lovely day everyone x

Floofsquidge · 26/09/2018 09:29

@Bluebird4 yes me! I recently turned 40 and am 6 weeks pg with my first and am terrified!

Bluebird4 · 26/09/2018 09:40

@Floofsquidge congratulations 😀 Don't be terrified. We just have to run with it! How are you feeling? I get totally paranoid that I don't have every single pregnancy symptom going. I should be glad probably!

Sparkles1992 · 26/09/2018 09:45

Hi everyone 👋 my symptoms came and went around 5-6 weeks and as soon as I hit 7 weeks I've thrown up every morning since Sad enjoy the lack of symptoms while you can x
