Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

@Buttons28 @crystalblaze I'm going to wait until January to get the pram and nursery furniture..im keeping my fingers crossed there will be some good deals 🤞 lol.

Aww @Buttons28 im sure you will feel flutters soon. I feel him all the time lately 😊 it is very reassuring. Don't worry though as my cousin didn't start feeling her baby until 25 weeks 😯xx

beaa2712 · 25/11/2018 08:32

Been really anxious because I'm 19+3 and haven't felt baby move. Rang my midwife just to be safe and she said if it's your first likely to feel it later 21-23 weeks as you are not really sure what it is you're feeling for so that made me feel a bit better. Still completely overwhelmed and panicking that something is going to show up on scan on Friday but me and partner can't wait to find out!! The family are so happy just hope everything is okay as when I got my bloods back I was at a higher risk for baby to downs but it was only 1.81% so fingers crossed everything is fine.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. I now have a sinus infection and in complete agony in my face, when will this end 🤧

MigMog · 25/11/2018 08:51

@beaa2712 have you had your 20week scan yet?

I'm 20weeks tomorrow and I've felt nothing, not even a flutter. I'm expecting that I've got an anterior placenta. My scan Is next Thurs, so I'm sure I'll find out.

I've also heard with a first it can take some time.

Pretty desperate to feel it give me a prod like.

beaa2712 · 25/11/2018 09:14

@MigMog no I've got my 20 week scan this Friday coming. All just a bit nervous I've got a bump going on so shows things are going in the right direction just still very anxious :)

MigMog · 25/11/2018 09:54

@beaa2712 totally get you like. I'm most nervous that something isn't right with baby.

I've got a bump. I've heard it's heart beat. It's deffo in there.

Clare4567 · 26/11/2018 10:26

@MigMog and @bea2712 Got our 20 week scan a week Friday and I'm anxious to see that it's all ok - still can't believe it's happening even though I have a bump now. Got a virus and cough so worries that will stress the baby. Off to the GP.

Good luck and congrats!!

Clare4567 · 26/11/2018 10:40

@dmc2018 Sorry to hear about your sickness, hope you're recovering. You're about a week ahead of me - I'm 18 +3 now.

You're not alone with the anxiety! I weirdly felt worse just after 12 week scan and telling everyone because it felt like there was now more pressure for a successful pregnancy, even though I knew in my head the risks were lower after 12 weeks.

I keep thinking 'after I feel a kick I'll relax' or after the next scan I'll relax' but I know it's not true haha!

Good luck and hope you get some R&R.

beaa2712 · 26/11/2018 13:02

@Clare4567 completely understand what you're saying I was so anxious after telling everyone and feel the same that I need everything to be okay now everyone knows! I'm sure everything is fine. Even after I heard the heartbeat I'm still a nervous wreck! Congrats we have our scan on Friday!

Clare4567 · 26/11/2018 15:49

@beaa2712 Exactly! Heard the heartbeat today at a GP appointment so hopefully that will keep me going for a bit. Good luck with your scan!

Blgb · 26/11/2018 17:39

Hey guys not posted in a while. I’m 20+1 today and got my scan on Friday to see if we’re pink or blue. I’m feeling baby move around mostly on an evening it’s a strange sensation but not enough for my other half to feel yet.
I am starting to have the most awful pelvis pain thou, booked in to see the midwife again next week to see what she advises, I’m pretty sure I’m starting with PGP which is not helpful since I stand up for 12 hours a day at work, and can’t do more than an hour before it kicks in. I love been pregnant, but not pregnancy 😂

MigMog · 26/11/2018 20:54

I've now got an outy belly button. It's been popping out gradually over the last few days.

Anyone else joined the gang?

Unicorn234 · 27/11/2018 16:33

@MigMog no haven't got one yet, the rate I'm growing though I'm sure it won't be long lol.

Had my 20 week scan today, amazing how much bigger he looks now. Everything was fine and how it should be, however couldn't get a picture as the little monkey would not stop moving lol xx

MigMog · 27/11/2018 17:21

@unicorn234 oh congrats on the scan. Mines on Thurs. Nerves are creeping in. I just hope baby is doing alright

Unicorn234 · 27/11/2018 17:28

@MigMog I'm sure everything is fine 😊 I was being scanned for like 45 minutes as he just wouldn't keep still lol. At one point she could only see one foot 😭🙈 but luckily he just had his legs crossed lol. Good luck for Thursday 😊 xx

beaa2712 · 28/11/2018 21:02

I am so spotty it's unreal. Just as I think they are going they all come back again:( really not feeling great about myself recently. Anyone else feel this way or just me. 20 weeks tomorrow and got my scan Friday just hoping everything is okay...

Unicorn234 · 28/11/2018 21:48

@beaa2712 I'm noticing some spots on my face aswell 😢
Also not feeling great, love being pregnant and carrying my baby but I hate the fact that my body is not my own & also doesn't help that I'm expanding by the day lol. Hope your okay x

MigMog · 29/11/2018 07:17

I'm a bit opposite.
My skin is so much clearer. My nails grow irritatingly fast. And my hair is so thick and hardly needs washing for days. It's all frizzy from all the new hair growing through.

I've got to the alright point of the second trimester. Scan day today too. Eek

PeanutButterJellyTime2 · 29/11/2018 07:28

Hello everyone! I'm due 26th April, 19 weeks tomorrow. The only real symptom I am having is not being able to sleep. I'm awake for hours in the night, I'm exhausted but just can't sleep.
Oh and I'm expanding rapidly, all over it feels...! This is my first baby and it's so strange (not bad - just strange!) to have such a change in the wha my body feels

beaa2712 · 29/11/2018 13:26

@Unicorn234 I know exactly what you are saying. My friend is due Feb and she looks amazing no extra fat just a beautiful bump and I feel like I'm a fat slob who looks awful being pregnant I've been so down about it and crying a lot:( x

Clare4567 · 29/11/2018 13:27

@peanutbutterjellytime2 I'm due April 26 too! (According to 12 week scan). Similar to you, few symptoms but can't sleep partly because I sleep on my front! Good luck with your 20 week scan.

Clare4567 · 29/11/2018 13:32

@beaa2712 I have a spot on my lip. Normal spot but on my lip. Didn't even know that could happen. I swear pregnancy is a bit like puberty, but much faster.

Unicorn234 · 29/11/2018 17:03

@beaa2712 it's not a nice feeling is it 😢 just got to think that we will have our beautiful babies at the end of all this 😊 x

ChaosMoon · 01/12/2018 08:43

@MigMog and @bea2712, how did your scans go?

Had mine yesterday. All was well, thank god, and it was so cool to see it's heart beating and it's tiny fingers and toes! It's a very camera shy bubba though, so they could only give us a picture of its foot! 😂

My belly button has all but vanished. I kind of miss it...

@Clare4567 I love that description of pregnancy! I certainly haven't felt this surprised about my body for decades...

beaa2712 · 01/12/2018 09:00

@ChaosMoon yes all went well thank you. Can't believe how much SHE has grown! Absolutely over the moon to be having a baby girl!! 💖

ChaosMoon · 01/12/2018 09:37

Aww, congratulations @beaa2712! It's just magical isn't it?
