Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

Had my 2nd midwife appointment today, got to hear babies heart beat for the first time, was so amazing 😊 xx

MigMog · 26/10/2018 08:29

@Unicorn234 I had mine yesterday. Was amazing hearing it thumping away. Quite a relief between scans.

Unicorn234 · 26/10/2018 11:37

@MigMog took her a little while to find it and then when she did I was all teary 😂 was lovely xx

TheMagicTorch · 26/10/2018 11:42

@Unicorn234 So jealous you're finding out next week, I am so impatient and want to have an early gender scan but my OH doesn't want the extra expense! Spoilsport!
It is so lovely hearing the heartbeat isn't it! I ended up getting checked over in Pregnancy Assessment yesterday (nothing serious, just struggling with shortness of breath and 111 recommended getting checked over) and they listened in to check on baby and I was in tears hearing it thumping away. nice to get a bit of reassurance inbetween scans.

Also have my 16w midwife next week so might get to hear again.
x

Unicorn234 · 26/10/2018 17:01

@TheMagicTorch oooh no I wouldn't put up with that, I'd tell my OH I wanted the scan whether he liked it or not 😂 luckily my OH is just as eager as me to find out early 😊
Yeah you should hear the heartbeat again at your 16 week appointment as that's where I first heard mine xx

purplestar9 · 26/10/2018 18:18

@CrystalBlaze the scan went really well! We were just so relieved to know everything was okay and progressing well! My more accurate due date is 3rd May though so I'm now out for the April threads!

Llondbol · 29/10/2018 08:18

I'm 15+6 today and curious about bumps! I can feel a little something when I'm lying down with a full bladder in the morning but that's it! It's my first baby and I'm a size 16 so I mostly just feel fat at the moment 😂

Unicorn234 · 29/10/2018 18:12

@Llondbol I'm also 15+6 today 😊I would say I'm around 14/16 and I've got a little bump now which I love 😁 we are finding out what we are having tomorrow, very excited.
Have you been feeling anything yet?

CrystalWatts · 29/10/2018 18:27

Hi I'm new here so a little shy but I have my 18-20 week scan on 28th November and I'm very excited to find out if I'm having a girl or a boy, if baby is behaving itself lol I hope everyone is having a good evening :)

Unicorn234 · 29/10/2018 18:50

@CrystalWatts I have my 20 week scan on the 27th November so we must be quite close in due dates? I'm due 16th April
We are finding out tomorrow what we are having as I just couldn't wait 😂🙊 xx

CrystalWatts · 29/10/2018 18:59

I'm due 15th April so very close, I'm impatient and I want to know sooner but partner wants to wait. Hope it goes well for you tomorrow :)

Llondbol · 29/10/2018 21:16

Ahhh @Unicorn234 that's lush - jealous of your bump! Mine's very much on the small side just now. I haven't felt any flutters yet but I can't wait 😬 we're holding out for the NHS 20 week scan but that's so exciting for you - let us know the news

Buttons28 · 30/10/2018 09:47

Welcome @CrystalWatts

@Unicorn234 bet you are so excited for today 🙂

Hope everyone is well

I'm 15+2 today so not far behind you guys. I have my 20 week scan on 3rd December, feels like so far away! We won't be finding out the sex as we are looking forward to the surprise at the birth. I'm hoping DH will be the one to tell me at the birth.

Bump watch is also happening here. I'm a size 10 normally and think I have maybe a small bump coming through but I do think some of it is still bloating. My mum didn't show until after 20 weeks with her first so maybe I'm following in her footsteps

When do they say it's normal to start feeling movements?

Unicorn234 · 30/10/2018 11:40

@Buttons28 I'm really excited 😁 ive been feeling a few flutters for the past week but I think everyone is different. My cousin didn't feel anything until near 25 weeks xx

dellabrew · 30/10/2018 18:57

Hey sorry, life has been pretty hectic lately so not posted in ages - however all is still well now 17 weeks and getting more excited by the day :) Feeling so much better now since going on the anti sickness meds its making me a lot happier. Dying to feel the baby move tho...loads of people keep saying to me they felt it by this stage but theres nothing going on here..yet!!! Had to postpone my midwife appt because of holiday which was a bit annoying, its next week but am v keen to hear the heartbeat again! Just in the last 2 weeks my belly has definitely grown...not sure right now if its fat or baby but fingers crossed its the baby lol :)

Unicorn234 · 31/10/2018 10:48

Hey guys hope everyone is well.

Had my gender scan last night which was amazing ❤
I'm so happy to say we are Team Blue 💙💙 off clothes shopping this morning 😂 xx

vicki6356 · 31/10/2018 11:11

Yay!! I’m having mine on Saturday. So excited. I’m team pink but partner is team blue haha. So we will be happy either way.

TheMagicTorch · 31/10/2018 11:36

@Unicorn234 Yay!! We are waiting for our 20 week scan but I'm sure it will be here soon! So delighted for you.

Ooh bet you're excited @vicki6356 You and Partner should have a little bet, whoever is right has to buy the other a treat Grin

beaa2712 · 12/11/2018 13:48

I'm 17+4 and haven't felt baby moving yet. I'm slightly worried because other people have been saying they haven't felt theirs move by now but wanted to find out if anyone else is in my situation and not actually felt and moves yet. Thanks :)

vicki6356 · 12/11/2018 15:06

Hi everyone,

Well I found out I’m having a BOY! My partner is over the moon. I was completely convinced I was carrying a girl so I even asked the woman how accurate these scans are. Her answer..... “well the willy is either there or it’s not there, and his is definitely there” 🤣🤣 so there we have it. A little son!

Unicorn234 · 13/11/2018 20:31

Hey everyone 😘18 weeks today, can't believe I'm nearly half way through!
Got my 20 week scan on the 27th so looking forward to that 😊
How's everyone feeling?x

ChaosMoon · 14/11/2018 05:39

Hello ladies. I hope no-one else is up at this ungodly hour!

I'm 19 and 3 but not having by "20 week" scan for another 2 weeks. 😕 I wanted to wait until then to go completely public at work, but I realised yesterday that there's no hiding this bump anymore. I may just wear something really fitted tomorrow and be done. On the plus side, I'm feeling some very definite kicking now, which is reassuring distracting.

Is anyone else still keeping it quiet(ish) or am I just being silly?

ChaosMoon · 14/11/2018 05:41

Oh and congrats everyone who's found out what they're having already! I want the surprise but it must be so exciting to know!

Unicorn234 · 14/11/2018 07:09

@ChaosMoon oh that's a shame that you've got to wait for your 20 week scan. My hospital and doctors have been really good with my scans. I had my 12 week scan when I thought I would be 12 weeks but baby was measuring 11+3 and my 20 week scan is on the 27th Nov and I will be exactly 20 weeks.
It's completely up to you who you tell and when you want to tell them. Tbh as soon as I knew everything was okay at 12 weeks I shouted it from the rooftops haha! But everyone is different 😊
Awww I can't wait to feel kicks! I'm still just getting lots of flutters xx

ChaosMoon · 14/11/2018 18:49

The flutters are so good too @Unicorn234! 😊

In fairness, my 12 week scan was on time -but I was measuring a week ahead. I already had the 20 week one booked, so I shouldn't complain about them betting organised!
