Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

That’s good news! Is your scan Mid October as that’s when I think they will schedule mine for if that’s the 12 week one x

beaa2712 · 14/09/2018 18:10

@Creasey31 mine is 9th October and I'll be coming up 13 weeks then :)

Blgb · 14/09/2018 18:31

Hi everyone! Haven’t posted for a while but feeling a lot less sick now and just knackered every day. Is anyone else showing yet? It’s my first so wasn’t expecting anything until at least 12 weeks. Thought it was bloating but starting to think it’s the start of the bump, or maybe just a lot of fluid? I’m 9+3

That’s good then I should be a couple of weeks behind you then! Not showing but eating so much at the moment I will be showing something soon!

Chivari · 14/09/2018 19:11

I feel I have just started to show a bit @Blgb and I am 8+5. Mainly in the evening I seem to 'pop'!

Chivari · 14/09/2018 22:16

Anyone else not able to stay awake beyond 8pm? I keep falling fast asleep on the sofa and waking up 30-40mins later having missed most of what I was watching 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm SO tired

donna474 · 15/09/2018 07:20

@Chivari I'm finding that at the moment too. And then I'm waking really early in the morning and struggling to get back to sleep.

I wake in middle of night for an hour then early in the morning and then so tired by 8pm! I’m going to try and muster some energy today to clean house

51Sunflower · 15/09/2018 08:38

@Chivari definitely. I'm in bed super early every night but up two or three times to pee. Only 7weeks but struggling to get comfortable as my boobs hurt so much. Any hints or tips folks?

Mariposa123 · 15/09/2018 08:48

@Chivari, For sure, I'm in bed by 9 at the latest. The only problem is though I'm starting to wake up more in the night, so I never feel as rested as I should.

BabyBoo19 · 15/09/2018 09:24

@Blgb I'm looking about the same as you too, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. It just seems to pop out after lunchtime and twice as big on an evening! I thought it was fluids and bloating so I have a look in the morning too and there's definitely a bump! I've also lost my hip bones so I think my muscles have all stretched out now. Had an awful week of sickness but getting excited now there's something to show for it!

I'm also fast asleep on the couch at 8pm, completely wipes you out doesn't it!

MigMog · 15/09/2018 09:54

@chivari I'm just the same. Bed by 9. Wake up numerous times for a wee. And always spend about an hour awake at some point over night. Constantly shattered.

CrystalBlaze · 15/09/2018 10:34

Morning everyone! With you on the showing/bloating and I'm only 8+1! Like @chivari it's mostly in the evening.

Worried about how much weight I'm going to have put on before booking appt next week!

My boobs seem much less sore this morning but think they tend to get less painful when I'm laying down and I haven't moved very much at all so far Grin

How's everyone else feeling generally? How's the sickness @Chivari? I don't have any still, just some low level nausea sometimes. I'm a bit worried about not feeling awful still tbh!

Chivari · 15/09/2018 11:07

Sickness is much better thanks @CrystalBlaze because of the anti-sickness meds I am taking. Just have to eat lots of snacks to keep my blood sugar up.

We had our early scan this morning. OMG it was amazing! Strong heartbeat and just so emotional to see our little bubba 👶🏼 I cried lol

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 15/09/2018 11:47

Aww Chivari that’s lovely, is this your first?

I can’t believe I didn’t ask for a photo at the EPU, I felt so calm though once I saw the little heart, a bit all over the place because I had genuinely convinced myself it was twins or triplets!
I’m feeling excited but the nausea, vomiting and exhaustion need to leave me alone, and the constipation, I actually cried on the toilet this morning, then an hour later did a happy dance once I’d finally done a poo (sorry for the TMI) pretty sure it was as bad as giving birth Grin

donna474 · 15/09/2018 13:47

@SheRaTheAllPowerful I'm with you on the constipation bit. I said to my partner this morning 'I'm feeling really constipated' to which he looked at me and replied 'pregnancy isn't the sexiest thing is it'. Going to go get some pear juice as that helps and tastes nicer than prune juice!

hey everyone! I'm only 7 weeks and found out 3 weeks ago. this will be our 1st. in the last 3 week's I feel I've been hit with every possible symptom; severe constipation, INSANE bloating, tiredness, sore boobs and morning sickness that kicks in the minute I feel hungry. the tiredness and sickness has caused me to miss the gym and over eat terribly which has caused weight gain and probably doesn't help the constipation either. im normally active and positive but I just feel I'm this miserable sloth and therefore not enjoying the pregnancy one bit . I've read so many posts and everyone seems to be able to take it relatively in their stride and overall enjoying the process. am I being unreasonable? do I just need to kick myself a kick up the bum.

Chivari · 15/09/2018 14:33

Yes @SheRaTheAllPowerful our first bubba 👶🏼👶🏼 it was just lovely 😊 really strong heartbeat and measuring at 8+3 (I had guessed I was 8+6 so only 3 days out!). It's made it a little more real for us now

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 15/09/2018 14:49

@deardurham welcome, sadly for me pregnancy is awful (I have twins so only one pregnancy but can’t say I enjoyed it much) I’d love to be one of those glowing pregnant women but hey ho, you get a beautiful baby at the end :)

deardurham · 15/09/2018 14:56

do you know how much of a relief though it is to hear at least one person say they don't have the complete pregnancy buzz! thank you for making me feel like I'm not alone xx let's cross our fingers the glow kicks in tomorrow lol

donna474 · 15/09/2018 18:57

Pregnancy sucks so far as far as I'm concerned! I feel bloated, fat, nauseous, constipated, thirsty, craving carbs, grumpy and tired yet unable to sleep through the night or take naps. I don't 'feel' pregnant and the only time I've felt connected is when I had scan and heard heartbeat. Bring on the second trimester!

NewSparkle · 15/09/2018 19:08

@chivari I am with ya on the tiredness. I’m just exhausted & sound asleep by 9 every night. Off on hols next week so il be piles of fun :(

Anyone else got a raging thirst?

Unicorn234 · 15/09/2018 22:58

@donna474 I'm finding brushing my teeth hard too! One day last week i started gagging and then was sick. Next day I was also sick on the school run! Had to run behind a bush 😂🙈 I'm 10+1 and thought I might of escaped sickness but I don't think so lol

dellabrew · 16/09/2018 08:40

@deardurham - your post made me laugh, honestly for me pregnancy is the worst time of my entire life lol ! I've always been really healthy luckily and never had to go to hospital or much wrong with me, but since I've been pregnant oh man Seem like everything hits all at once, the severe sickness, heartburn, fatigue, insomnia, bellyache, headaches, constipated and super irritable ....its the worst!!!! But...on the plus side...I really want this baby and just cant wait to meet it :) Thats all thats keeping me going atm! (Honestly I'm wondering if the glow thing is just a giant conspiracy Grin )

donna474 · 16/09/2018 10:41

Off for my booking in appointment in 20 mins. Unsure what to expect
