Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

Have you told work yet? They should do a risk assessment, maybe if you have to do it, you’ll be better off with a floor station to change nappies as I imagine all that lifting with only escalate your pain. You need to look after yourself x

Fingers crossed it's just backache. I remember having similar with my MMC so that's why I'm worried but backache can be a symptom of pregnancy and MMC so trying to stay positive 🤞

Me and my partner recently found out that we are having our first baby. So very excited but extremely nervous as well as this time last year I suffered from a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. I'm 8 weeks now and really worrying about what's going to happen in the next month before scan 😬 any tips for keeping calm!!

Can you book an early scan?
We have one on Friday, it was £79. For me it was money well spent to see baby on the screen and a heartbeat. We then get a picture to take home with us as well. X

@beaa2712 I bet if you explained your concerns to your GP they would refer you to an early pregnancy unit for a scan?

Unfortunately not. I have explained to them but because it has only been one they are not worried about it. They are just putting me forward for a normal 12 week scan. I would like to go and have a private one but can not afford it. X

Yes it's awful and I'm trying not to worry or panic because I'm sure that will only make it worse buts it's the worst thing ever. These next four weeks will be the longest every!! X

@beaa2712 I totally understand. When I had the two week wait after embryo transfer it was all I could think of! We just have to talk ourselves into being positive

@SheRaTheAllPowerful yes I think I am going to start doing them on the floor but the girls who I work with are quite good and offer to do them for me sometimes 😊 xx

@beaa2712 congratulations! Sorry to hear about what happened last time. I've been worrying a lot about MMC I've never had one I think it's because I only have 1 daughter who is 11 I want this so much I just kept thinking something bad will happen. I know it sounds stupid but keep saying to yourself 'release all doubts and negativity from my life' It's worked for me to keep me calm! :)

Mum if 1 have you told your 11 year old yet? I’m waiting for my scan to tell my 8 year olds, I think they are going to be delighted as they love younger children.

@SheRaTheAllPowerful yeah I've told her, I wasn't going to but we were so excited we ended up telling her :) she cried because she was so happy! Aw do they, it will be so lovely when you tell them :)

Hi. Currently 7 weeks! 2nd but feels like my first as been so long since the last time! So interesting to read everyone’s symptoms so I know I’m not going mad! Feel like I’m sea sick most of the time unless I’m eating which is not great!!! Also feel exhausted constantly and bloated! Boobs are sore! Haven’t told anyone yet and have first midwifes appointment next week! I can’t remember the 1st time being this hard...hoping to get a scan Mid October so we can tell people.

Feeling dreadful today. After a busy weekend I've got a full blown cold with an awful headache. Took the day off work. Being preggers I think has made this cold worse

I need someone to give me a boost today. I'm getting so worried about this backache I keep getting and feel like I've not felt as sick today 😩 so scared of a MMC again I feel like I can't think of anything other. I have another private scan booked for Saturday but feel like it's just going to be game over for me 😢

My back was terrible Unicorn last pregnancy, I had to see a physio throughout. I also had to be signed off work for a few weeks, try and rest, it’s hard not to worry but hopefully all will be ok.

Send your husband out to get you a treat or some chocolate, I had a cream tea for breakfast this morning, surprisingly it didn’t make me feel sick!
It all feels real now I’ve been booked in and I have maternity notes, now I just need my scan!

Took off work today to rest, I’m still spotting but gone from dark brown to bright red. Had nurse apt yday & was told nothing can be done re bleeding just have to wait it out. It’s torture. I’m 7+6.

Hi ladies. How is everyone? Missed quite a few posts on here due to suffering badly with HG. I was close to being hospitalised yesterday, but then the meds kicked in and I managed to get over 1.5ltr of water in.

We have our private scan on Saturday. Can't wait!

poor you @Chivari that sounds horrible. Hope the meds help.

So far I've had no sickness but feeling so queasy and I can't face any food other than ginger biscuits and chips.
