Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

@CrystalBlaze I'm beyond nervous and excited!!! My first baby is now 25 so just a small gap between them!!!
Been feeling as sick as a dog today although ginger is helping. Thank goodness I love all things ginger...I'm based in Windsor

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 18:40

I’m London, really vomiting now, urgh, I’m 8 days tomorrow, booking in appointment Monday. Depending on what the midwife says and my scan appointment I think I’m going to bite the bullet and get an early scan. I just want to see a heartbeat/s and be able to tell people.
Hope everyone is feeling better.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 18:42

Sunflower that makes me feel better about my age gap :) my twins are nearly 8 so baby 3 for me

51Sunflower · 08/09/2018 18:48

Thanks @SheRaTheAllPowerful. I'm not sure if I'm just a little crazy going through this all over again but so darn excited SmileSmile I hope you are feeling ok?

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 19:28

I feel exactly the same but the morning (all day) sickness is the worst, am concerned it’s a multiple pregnancy again which I know is unlikely but I just need to know :)
How old are your other children?

51Sunflower · 08/09/2018 19:41

@SheRaTheAllPowerful I've only just started to get the nausea but it's kind of reassuring that all is ticking along ok! Not sure I could cope with a multiple birth. Fingers crossed for you that it's not another multiple for you. I have one child/man who is now 25! Eek how did that happen? Grin

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 19:44

That’s so exciting :)

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 19:45

@Sunflower you will be great. And your grown up baby can help out too Wink

@SheRa I'm sorry you're still feeling rough! I'm wiped out even after a day of doing nothing. It's ridiculous.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 19:53

I was I’ll my entire pregnancy last time Sad but the first trimester, especially weeks 8-10 were the worst. I am so happy but it’s a long time until April!

Chivari · 08/09/2018 19:53

@SheRaTheAllPowerful sorry you're so sick. I've been diagnosed with HG today 😕 only vomiting about twice a day but nausea is basically 24/7 and I'm struggling to eat and drink. Now been prescribed some anti-sickness meds. If it gets worse I'd go and see your GP

MrsBonnie · 08/09/2018 20:21

@crystalblaze I’m doing ok thanks! I’ve been very nauseas and today think I’ve had a bad bout of food poisoning (was far too horrendous to have been PG related!) but all in I’ve been ok. Boobs are easing off too now. Phew! How have you been?

@purplestar9 I’m in NW too! If you don’t want to answer this to remain anonymous that’s fine, but where have you thought about having baby? I’m going to GC! If you can tell where I mean by that haha.

MrsBonnie · 08/09/2018 20:23

@chivari the dreaded HG! I’m so sorry you’re going through that. I’ve been slightly nauseous for a few weeks but only been sick 3 times. I don’t know how I’d cope with what you’ve got. Hang in there! It’s just the start of you being a selfless mum giving your all to your baby!

Is anyone else getting acne? My skins breaking out lots! My sister said it’s a girl as they steal your looks 😂

Chivari · 08/09/2018 20:25

Thanks @MrsBonnie got some meds now so hopefully they will help! And I am the opposite with my skin - usually when not on the pill I get bad hormonal acne but since being pg my skin has been a dream!

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 20:30

Oh no @Chivari so sorry to hear! Hopefully the meds will give you a bit of respite.

@MrsBonnie and @purplestar I grew up in north wales (ish) but more towards the English side. So I know what you mean by GC.

donna474 · 08/09/2018 21:05

@purplestar9 and @MrsBonnie I'm Shropshire based. We've figured out baby was actually conceived in Betws-y-coed when staying for my 30th. We've given baby pet name of Betwsy!

Hey girls currently 9+1 and still no sickness for me.. feel so sorry for all you ladies being poorly, sounds horrible 😢

purplestar9 · 08/09/2018 21:11

@MrsBonnie I'm pretty sure I know where you mean and that's where I thought too! Which county are you from (you don't have to answer if you don't want to!)

purplestar9 · 08/09/2018 21:13

@donna474 aww such a cute little pet name! I've got family Shropshire way :) small world!

MrsBonnie · 08/09/2018 21:21

@purplestar9 I’m in Deeside so would be closer to go to the Countess. I heard you have to put in an appeal to go to England though and we know GC better having visited previous friends there.

purplestar9 · 08/09/2018 21:24

@MrsBonnie ahh I'm further the other way in Conwy. Definitely want GC though :)

MigMog · 09/09/2018 07:51

@51sunflower congrats on the Ivf baby. I've an amazing 3yr old Ivf nice. They truly are miracles. It took my sis 7 rounds of Ivf to get her.

I'm 9 weeks today.hurray. booking in appointment on Tues.

Acne - with you there. Skin has not been very clear.

51Sunflower · 09/09/2018 09:03

@MigMog thanks so much. I'm just bursting to tell people but it's too soon. Congrats on your news. That was a tough journey for your sister!!

unicornxo · 09/09/2018 09:05

Has anyone had backache on one side just above their bum? Mine hurts today but I did ride my horse yesterday and I'm feeling really unfit so it could be that.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 09/09/2018 09:16

Could be Sciatica Unicorn, the trouble is your body releases lots of the hormone relaxin which pregnant to aid childbirth so it makes your joints more mobile, I had terrible back pain last pregnant and the physio said it was most likely an old injury that was now playing up due to pregnancy (mine was riding too but I’ve not done it now in years)

Unicorn234 · 09/09/2018 10:18

I get back ache in the week whilst I'm at work too 😢 I work in a toddler room so think it's when I'm picking them up to do nappies

It's horrible though 😢
