Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

Thanks @CrystalBlaze trying to not be sick this morning. Still laying in bed!

@Emilyvalentine24 feel your pain on the sickness front. Will it every end?? I struggle to get liquids in without feeling sick

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 10:36

You poor thing @Chivari. Hope you come out the other side of it soon!

I'm feeling a bit fragile today after a rubbish day at work yesterday. DP is out all day so just planning on resting.

Also got myself in a bit of a tizz about the fact I don't really have any sickness, just a bit of indigestiony nausea. I am exhausted all the time though. Scared that when it gets to 12 weeks they'll say there's nothing in there. I know I'm just being silly. Talk some sense into me!

Unicornandbows · 08/09/2018 10:42

I had an hour and a half where I didn't feel sick or be sick..it was absolutely the most amazing feeling.. Unfortunately back to half hour vomiting. So I am still very happy this morning

Chivari · 08/09/2018 10:52

Awww @CrystalBlaze I am sure everything is fine. Don't worry! Some women don't get any morning sickness. What about booking in an early private scan?

My friend is 12 weeks and also has 2 other children and hasn't had any morning sickness with any of them. So jealous!

I am feeling the worst I have felt this morning. Been sick now and think I'll be running to the loo again shortly 🤢🤢

Chivari · 08/09/2018 10:53

My DH is doing bits of bobs around the house and keeps asking me questions and I don't even have the energy to think! Maybe get back in bed soon

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 11:02

Thanks @Chivari. Feel silly saying it especially when you and others are suffering so much! Don't want to wish MS on myself but it's such a long time to wait to know that all is well.

I'm going to give myself a day off everything today and just relax as much as possible.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 08/09/2018 11:03

I can’t remember anything, just been to the park with my girls and thought I’ll ring my husband for a chat but I’d spoken to him 5 minutes earlier, I’m feeling very forgetful. On the tiredness front, I’ve been going to bed at children’s bedtime :)

clouise2018 · 08/09/2018 11:40

Hi lovelies,

Can I join? Got 3 BFPs on Thursday, my last period was 22nd July so predicted due date 28th April? So I would be 6+6 today.

Took a clear blue digital on Friday and it says pregnant 2-3 weeks.

Can anyone tell me how this is worked out?

Chivari · 08/09/2018 11:45

Welcome @clouise2018 😀

The clear blue test is based on conception date but your actual due date is based on the day of your last period. So you are likely 4-6 weeks pregnant but 2-3 weeks since conception

clouise2018 · 08/09/2018 11:52

Thank you!

I haven't had many symptoms at all, no sickness or anything.

Just increased thirstiness, ridiculously sore boobs and a lot of gas

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 14:23

Hi @clouise! Congrats Smile

We are almost due date buddies - am due on April 26.

MrsBonnie · 08/09/2018 14:37

Dropping back in here! I had my early scan this morning (9 weeks) and was thrilled to see a heartbeat and everything was fine!

I share this because I’ve done nothing but worry and had all by convinced myself it was going to be a missed miscarriage. My sister had gone through this earlier this year so I just didn’t hold out hope. What a relief now!! I cried so much!!

I’d like to introduce you to our little splodge 😂 it looks like a thumb print and is probably not much bigger!
Best money I’ve spent in my whole life and so worth it for reassurance. Hope all you ladies are doing well!

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 14:38

Ahhh @MrsBonnie that's such good news. Congratulations. Smile How are you feeling?

11leanne11 · 08/09/2018 15:34

Hi. I found out 5 weeks ago, am about 9 weeks now. Estimated due date 17th april. I must be crazy, my daughter is 11 months lol.
Make an appointment through your doc fpr a midwife.
I have my first scan Tuesday.

X

donna474 · 08/09/2018 16:18

Had my early scan this morning and they've dated me 6 days further than I thought I was. I personally think baby looks like a roast chicken at the moment! Heard the heartbeat as well which was lovely. We then went off to a food festival which was tough as I had to avoid all alcohol, soft cheese and cured meats! Feels strange to know there actually is something in there!

@CrystalBlaze hello! I'm doing well thank you. The week of work was okay, just had to keep a load of snacks around to stop and sickly feelings.
I managed a lie in today as DH very kindly got a lift to work (we share a car so I either have to be up early if I want the car or he takes it which means I can't go anywhere!) and had a lovely relaxed few hours just reading but I've really struggled with appetite today but I know that if I don't eat then I'll feel worse so I'm trying my best. And I've felt knackered today (I'm blaming the lie in!).
Currently sat outside DH's work waiting for him to finish (and munching on chopped up apple 🍏).
How are you doing? Sorry for the essay haha.

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 17:13

Essays are good @purplestar, it's always nice to hear how everyone else is bumbling along! I know what you mean on appetite, am really struggling to fancy things. Particularly healthy things which isn't ideal!

I have literally done nothing today and after such a full on week it's been really lovely. Don't feel aa hideously tired as normal.

purplestar9 · 08/09/2018 17:13

@MrsBonnie and @donna474 it's so nice to see your scans! I'm thinking of waiting for the 12 week scan if I can. However I have my booking in appt with the midwife on Wednesday so we'll see what's said then. I'm 6+4 today so only 5 and a half weeks left to wait haha! Seems like forever to the 12 week mark!

purplestar9 · 08/09/2018 17:15

@CrystalBlaze that's good! I've got another day to myself tomorrow as DH is working again so don't know what to do with myself! May have a lazy day and cook a nice Sunday dinner (and hope I want to to eat it!).
It would be lovely if some of us lived near each other!

dellabrew · 08/09/2018 17:25

So pleased, my letter finalllly came through with my scan date...25th September I CANT WAIT!! Especially seeing pics of other peoples...its getting me so excited :)

On the downside I have the worst headache ever and badly wish I could take a handful of painkillers, huh. I'm 10 weeks tomorrow...that means just 2 more weeks of this dratted first trimester YAY!

51Sunflower · 08/09/2018 17:28

Hi Folks,

I hope you don't mind me joining you? I've just joined the site. I'm 6w5d ivf baby with donor egg! I've been stressing so much as had a slight spotting and scan not until Wednesday so thought I would have a look on here for some ladies in a similar place Smile

11leanne11 · 08/09/2018 17:46

My fourth due in april too. Must be crazy haha x

CrystalBlaze · 08/09/2018 18:01

Welcome @sunflower! How are you feeling?

@donna I missed your message, so great to see your pic and that all is well. Does it make it all seem real now?

@purplestar I am waiting for the 12 week scan I think as DP isn't too bothered about an early one. I am happy either way but it is so long to wait! Let me know how your booking in goes, mine isn't for another two weeks yet. Will be 9+3 when I finally have it.

Whereabouts is everyone based roughly? I will be in the south downs when we finally move house in a month or so.

donna474 · 08/09/2018 18:05

@CrystalBlaze it does seem surreal that there is actually something in there and I'm not a crazy lady. Heartbeat was 160bpm and we got to hear it which was lovely. Still can't comprehend that I have a Hunan growing inside me.
