I know I shouldn't be.... but so nervous for my 20weeks scan today!!! And 3.30pm is such a long time to wait until!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited for all your 20 week scans, mine is next Wed!

I don't know if you guys have experienced this but at my last consultant appointment he got out this thing that looked like a massive flip phone. He said he was checking the baby's heartbeat so I expected to hear it then he handed me the flip phone and it was only a little screen with an ultrasound on it! Baby waving away!

Ladies all was perfect. It's a BOY! 💙💙 we weren't gonna find out! But we're placenta previa and it's totally blocking the birth canal. So we're unlikely to have the birth we want. So we figured enough surprises. I'm thrilled. Baby is safe and sound and growing perfectly.

@cakelaur A little boy! Whoop whoop! Lovely pics, I'm so pleased your bean is well. How long did the scan take roughly? I'm getting so nervous about mine.

@Athers666 it took them about an hour in the end. Little man was being a buggar!! Haha!! And now we've got extra scans to check the placenta, and consultant appointments.

@Cakelaur he's a fab little thing, such good pics! Really pleased the scan went well. It's a shame you'll not have the birth you wanted but you'll make the best of whatever happens I'm sure. Whoop whoop for extra scans though!
