@Daffodil77 we went in 100% team yellow! Hahhaha we lasted all of about 10mins!!! I'm just thrilled!!

@Beck1988 so the placenta may move on it's own. I'll have an extra scan or two to check along the way. And if it hasn't moved it will be c-section. So yes it will be beginning of December baby. 😁

@HidCat yup. It's kinda my view. What will be will be. I just want him here safely!! My little boy! 💙😍 and yes can't complain above the extra scans! 😬

Thanks ladies. Can't believe the 20week is done. Onto 32 week scan to check the placenta. Just love you guys and the support.

peachesarenom · 31/07/2018 22:38

Thank you HidCat.

Yes SpongeBobGrannyPants it was the size of a thick marker pen connected to the 'flip phone' by a wire.

Cakelaur those pictures are amazing, you can see the brain! I'm having a boy too! This is my fave outfit so far! So if you have a c-sec how much earlier than the due date will it be?

Good luck for yours tomoz Athers666!

Guys I really don't know how I've got this far, I've got pcos, fibroids, diabetes and my bmi is 44. At my last consultant appt my dr told me about all the birth related risks and now I'm proper shitting myself! Been swimming and walking everyday since!

Yay @peachesarenom I'm super excited I'm having a boy. And I wanted a girl!! Haha!!! Gorgeous outfit. If we go c-section it will be around 38 weeks (beginning of December) unless baby attempts to come earlier in which case it will be emergency c-section. But there's still a good chance placenta will move and we'll be back to low risk. They'll check again at 32 weeks.
Good that you've been swimming and walking. Have you noticed a difference?? I've not got a high BMI but I've been trying to increase my stamina with walking and things (I'm quite active day to day but generally unfit) now I've been told I'm not allowed to do any more than I absolutely have to.

peachesarenom · 31/07/2018 23:00

It's so stressful Cakelaur. I don't want to get all the way to the end and somthing then go wrong. I'm also very active in terms of having a full time job but I've never really been fit. I've managed not to put any weight on but I really want to keep up the walking (relaxed pace) did about 3 miles today and lazy swimming with a pool noodle. I want to feel like I'll have enough strength for the birth.

I don't think I'm that unhealthy, all my blood sugar testing is in the right range and the drs/nurses/midwifes are always shocked that my blood pressure is always normal. Obviously I don't have much say over the pcos or fibroids. Apparently fibroids can be an obstruction to the baby on the way out and mean that the contractions are not effective. I have an appointment to see the anesthetist to figure out what to give me. This makes me suspect they're planning a c-sec but when I ask they just say 'not necessarily'!

leanne9312 · 01/08/2018 07:51

Omg rrrr I'm sick of having restless legs On a night time it's really affecting my sleep !! Any one have any tips or anything 😟 😡😡

Athers666 · 01/08/2018 08:41

@peachesarenom thank you! I'm so so scared. It's not until the afternoon and I'm already shaking like a leaf.

leanne9312 · 01/08/2018 10:06

@Athers666 good luck in your scan today x

Patienceofatoddler · 01/08/2018 10:34

@Cakelaur beautiful scan congratulations a bouncing baby boy!

Good luck for later @Athers666

We are doing 'ok' have been signed off work with constant headaches.

We have our first consultant appointment tomorrow so looking forward to that to get a idea of the guidelines for care in this NHS trust (new to area since previous pregnancies).

The 20 week scan seems so so so far away - Over 4 weeks away Hmm

PassTheAfterEights · 01/08/2018 12:40

Morning you guys, can I ask, are you too full up for another or prefer to keep to grouped due dates?

Having a mare - a happy one, obviously - either 3 or 7 weeks in, found out yesterday & called evvvveryone this morning (having moved 400 miles last week, no GP etc) but EPU and midwife are determined it's 7 and will not test me 😱 So, I don't clearly belong to either the March or April '19 buses and anyway feel so nervous in light of history I think I'm looking for a slightly softer home with all my old mates

If you'd prefer to stick to EDD's please don't hesitate to say & can always start another grads thread x

peachesarenom · 01/08/2018 12:51

OMG PassTheAfterEights!!!!! I defo want you here! Massive congrats!

Patienceofatoddler · 01/08/2018 12:57

Congratulation @PassTheAfterEights that's fantastic news.

Athers666 · 01/08/2018 13:25

Omg omg omg. Scan was all fine, I'm also having a boy! Dh and I cried, it was so embarrassing but we were so relieved that Bean is well and thriving!

HidCat · 01/08/2018 13:29

@PassTheAfterEights congratulations! So pleased for you! I'm on the March threads and I'm 7+6 so roughly the same as you it would seem.

@Athers666 that's great news on the scan. Congratulations!

Athers666 · 01/08/2018 13:30

@Athers666 sorry I posted that just now after writing it this morning and then I saw your scan pic! Gorgeous! Did you know you were having a boy already!! Sorry lost track from the old thread! His profile is so cute. And he looks so chilled!!!

Cakelaur · 01/08/2018 13:50

@Athers666 total baby brain today.. just read your previous statement! So massive congrats for boy!!! Looks like December is full of them!!! 💙😍

MisBit1 · 01/08/2018 14:06

I’ve been for an early scan today. We saw a heartbeat, measurements were a bit smaller than I expected but I’m trying (really hard) to focus on the positives and not let that worry me.
Lovely to see your scans @Athers666 and @cakelaur congrats on your boys.
Congratulations to @passtheaftereights too.

PassTheAfterEights · 01/08/2018 16:22

Ahhh thanks so much you lovely loves, you're the best x

Fantastic, handsome pictures @cakelaur @athers666 & glad your scan went well @mrsbit1 - heartbeat must be lovely! @peachesarenom @patienceofatoddler 😘😘 @hidcat oh awesome, 7+1 here (assuming midwives are right), lovely to have a handhold!

DH fiiiiinally home, just told him 🎉 we've cracked and booked a private scan on Saturday - bit indulgent & respect what EPU are saying but just can't wait 6 more weeks to have them revise it backwards by a month. I hope they're right and we're almost two months in but just can't relax not even knowing where we're at.

Uterus feels quite achey (dull & dispersed, not stabby) on and off - hoping this is normal? Knicker check at 15-20 min intervals 🙈

peachesarenom · 01/08/2018 18:10

Defo normal PassTheAfterEights I knew I was preggers because my uterus was heavy! Lol!

peachesarenom · 01/08/2018 18:21
