Thanks all, I'm so chuffed! And a little concerned I'm growing a real fidget in there, haha!

Oh no, @Leanne, hope you and baby are ok, in the best place to rule everything out!

clairehr · 07/08/2018 19:26

Doh, baby brain! Meant @peachesarenom

Cakelaur · 07/08/2018 19:39

@peachesarenom hope you're ok babe. And bub is all good too. But it's good that they're taking extra precautions and doing extra checks.

Athers666 · 07/08/2018 19:48

@clairehr Lovely clear scan pic!
@peachesarenom hope you're doing ok x

clairehr · 07/08/2018 19:57

I know it's been c9vered before, but hose using doppler, which would you recommend?

peachesarenom · 07/08/2018 20:04

I've had enough, thinking of doing a runner!

HidCat · 07/08/2018 20:35

@peachesarenom I know it's a pain but hang in there. Best to be safe than sorry. I had the same situation though just before I got pg again and it's a faff waiting for all the tests to come back. I'm sure everything is fine for you xxx

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 09:23

@clairhr I have a doppler. I wasn't going to buy one as i know they are no substitute for proper medical advice, but, after my 12 week scan I had some bleeding/spotting and they wouldn't scan me as it wasn't heavy, so I had no idea of the baby was ok or not. It almost killed me as I was so worried! So in the end I did order a doppler from Amazon and it really did ease my fears so much, I think I was about 16 or 17 weeks and hearing the heartbeat whenever I wanted really really helped my anxiety. I don't use it much now because I can feel him moving now anyway, but for a few weeks it was so useful. Just a warning though it sometimes takes a while to find the baby, which can be scary.

clairehr · 08/08/2018 09:49

@Athers666 I'm such a control freak and because I didn't get to hear heartbeat at 12 week scan I'm feeling a little paranoid, so think it would help just for a few weeks. Out of interest, which do you have?

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 09:55

The Vcomin pocket fetal doppler. I got it from Amazon but it's not there anymore for some reason! There are others that look much the same though.

Cakelaur · 08/08/2018 10:39

This is the one I got. And I LOVE it. Don't use it now because I feel baby kicking all day long. But weekend 12-18 weeks it was a god send! This was about £25 on eBay.

Thanks ladies, will be taking a look today I think 😊

peachesarenom · 08/08/2018 13:01

I survived the mri! I got in and then they put this contraption around your head before you go in the tube and I shat myself. Then they let DH in and he was allowed to hold my foot during scan. Once I was in it was fine, lots of 80's computer game noises and a fair amount of space. I just kept thinking 'I've endured a lot worse' like all those work meetings.

Just waiting for results now.

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 14:00

@peachesarenom That's sweet that your Dh held your foot! Aww. I hope you don't have to wait forever for the MRI results!

HidCat · 08/08/2018 15:07

@peachesarenom I'm glad the scan was ok. 🤞 for positive news.

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 15:54

Just had the midwife appointment, heard heartbeat and she said baby seems happy although he's very low. She didn't say it was a problem but I'm worried now!

peachesarenom · 08/08/2018 16:19

My baby feels low today too!

In other news I'm still waiting for results!

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 16:23

oh no, Peaches, nothing worse than waiting. Hope they sort it out asap!

Patienceofatoddler · 08/08/2018 17:42

Best if luck @peachesarenom

How long have you been in hosp now?

Hope your being discharged today with good news.

Thinking of you x

peachesarenom · 08/08/2018 18:39

I'm finally home, went in on Mon eve! Apparently all fine on mri front at least but I didn't see the Dr again so I'm confused on the fragmin front.

Patienceofatoddler · 08/08/2018 18:50

@peachesarenom so glad your home - hope you sleep super well in your own bed tonight and that your feeling better.

Cakelaur · 08/08/2018 18:52

Glad you're home @peachesarenom and with an all clear

My bub is very low, and currently transverse and placenta underneath him. So nothing is in the right place at the mo. But hopefully loads of time to move! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

peachesarenom · 08/08/2018 18:54

Thanks everyone, I've learnt a lot about the 'pre-labour' ward. I will share my insights tomoz!

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 20:18

Argh, I feel so bad for saying this as this baby is so precious and so so wanted but...the movements are getting me down! He squirms and rolls during the day but also when I'm trying to sleep he seems to have another party! Love feeling him playing and being happy but, argh, I'm freaking exhausted 😂😂

clairehr · 08/08/2018 21:05

So pleased you're home with the all clear @peachesarenom
