Hello

I thought I'd start a new thread for people who have are due late Nov/ early Dec

A bit about me...

I'm 28 have been married nearly 2 years and we were very lucky and managed to fall pregnant first month TTC...

I've self referred on the NHS website and am awaiting my booking in appointment 🙂

What's your story? ❤️

Holy cow! Ours charged £10 for 3 pictures but our sonographer gave them to us for free because she thought the charges were ridiculous. I think its unfair for some trusts to not even allow print offs. That's unbelievable.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 25/05/2018 15:41

My sister in law is 3 months ahead of me and I assumed it was £10 to access your account and then you could download them freely - nope. Daylight robbery! (But naturally I'll stump up £10 each time....!)

Emma198 · 25/05/2018 20:40

Told my nanna today... she said she knew it wasn't overeating making me so fat 😭😂😂

AnotherOriginalUsername · 25/05/2018 20:42

Haha go nanna!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 17:08

Has anyone started buying stuff yet?

My husband picked me up from work yesterday (car in the garage 😭) and we called into Sainsbury's on the way home...

Ended up coming out with the entire Very Hungry Caterpillar range including the tiniest little probably most pointless little booties Confused

Emma198 · 26/05/2018 18:29

Awww that's excitement for you. I've not bought anything for baby yet, just maternity stuff (although same nanna as above did buy me two sets of baby booties as a wedding gift - been desperate for her 2nd great grandchild!)

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 18:39

Bought a few eBay bargains baby clothes wise but will just have to undo the buttons on my jeans as my car has just cost me £500 😭😭😭

Emma198 · 26/05/2018 18:43

Just live in leggings and long tops Grin. I got some maternity jeans off eBay cos most of my friends who have kids outgrew their maternity clothes in the size they were before pregnancy so I'm hesitant to spend a lot!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 18:56

I'm hoping to not gain too much more weight (currently +4kg according to weight at hospital yesterday) - maybe the only downside to no morning sickness?

I've eaten fruit, salad AND had a smoothie today. Going to spend tomorrow batch cooking for the freezer and hopefully am over the "I know what I need to eat when I need to eat it" phase and can hopefully plan ahead a little more.

Emma198 · 26/05/2018 19:30

I haven't really gained any, I've lost weight from around my face and shoulders it's just all migrated to my belly. Well done for keeping healthy it's still something I'm struggling with a little bit, can eat plenty of fruit but veg is still a bit bleurgh. Pasta is still my best friend. Could be worse things!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 19:38

Could be worse! I'm determined to get back to the gym next week. May go spinning on Monday as I'm not working so can go back to bed after if necessary!

Emma198 · 26/05/2018 19:51

I literally think a spinning class would make me pass out I struggle with general day to day moving around haha. You're inspirational!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 19:54

It's nothing special when you've done it for years (and seem to be having a very easy pregnancy!). I was supposed to be doing a 100 mile cycle from london-surrey and back again in July but have obviously pulled out. Also had to pull out of the national 3 peaks in September for a charity I work for which I'm gutted about. Been looking forward to that for ages and I've organised the whole thing!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 19:56

And yet I still have this on my notes Hmm

First Pregnancies with Nov/Dec Due dates?
Emma198 · 26/05/2018 20:17

As such a shame you've had to give so much up. Worth it though! I thought your scan looked really clear you could even see it's little legs perfectly! Bit rude to have that on your notes!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 20:30

Factually correct though! I'm not a small person, I lost 11 stone and was still a size 18. I was diagnosed with an iffy heart late 2016, which destroyed my dream career just as it was about to happen and then had a totally crazy 2017 - London marathon (started running 10 weeks before) and 65 mile ultra marathon just to prove a point really. This year's plans was just building on that need to constantly do bigger and better

Emma198 · 26/05/2018 20:58

Amazing! What is bigger or better than building a baby?! Comparing my scan at 7 weeks to at 13 weeks is just absolute madness, it's gone from a jelly bean to a bouncing baby it's unreal!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 26/05/2018 20:59

Yep we've gone from gummy bear to baby!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 30/05/2018 12:33

How's everyone doing?

hammeringinmyhead · 30/05/2018 15:10

I'm good! 16+1 with a big bump. Not as tired but getting uncomfortable at night in the heat now.

ellsharks · 30/05/2018 15:22

Constantly needing to wee! Driving me mad but otherwise all good. 14+6 today! Kind of flying when i think of where I was 5 weeks ago, and how I will be half way in another 5 weeks!!

ND348 · 30/05/2018 20:28

I second the needing to see! Not had a full nights sleep without having to get up in the night in forever which is making me really tired.
Told my team today and was met with (after obligatory congratulations) thank god you're pregnant, we thought you were either seriously ill or pregnant.... turns out I hadn't hidden it as well as I thought!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 30/05/2018 21:06

I'm up at least twice a night currently (plus the multiple times the last few nights with the flipping dog Angry )

I also feel really low today and have a general nightly low level anxiety about the whole thing which concerns me slightly. I need to go to the gym tomorrow if it kills me, I'm sure that'll sort me out.

Emma198 · 30/05/2018 23:26

14+2 today. Feeling less sick but still so shattered! not too bad with weeing but getting a fair amount of stretching pains. I've got quite a big belly for 14 weeks!

MrsCrumbtious · 31/05/2018 12:12

11+1 today and currently in holiday which has been just what I needed to relax (work particularly my boss has been stressful).
Seem to have popped this week nothing to do with the amazing food out here in Canada and STILL waiting for my scan letter 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Does anyone else feel ‘normal’ right now?
