I'm loving this thread. I've not told anyone in RL yet (apart from DH obviously) so I'm bursting. Still very anxious about it all going wrong but trying to be as positive as possible.

Congratulations all 💞

Decafplease · 23/03/2018 10:49

Congratulations all!
Very tentatively joining, am 41, due 23rd Nov. Had an early miscarriage last year, so very very nervous abput this one! Have a scan booked 2w from today. I was going to wait till then to join any chats, but i am so nervous & need to talk to someone other than DH!

Liz3891 · 23/03/2018 11:59

If you go by ovulation date, I'm 6 weeks. Otherwise, slightly over. Very anxious as this was NOT planned. However I'm 35 and feel like this might be my only shot so tentatively excited :). Due mid November.

AaronPurrSir · 23/03/2018 12:26

Hello all! Joining in!

I’m 32, been with DP 4 years. We decided to start trying in the new year, got my BFP on our 3rd cycle. EDD is 1st December.

I only found out 2 days ago and it still doesn’t feel real! My period would have been due tomorrow/Sunday and I still have this deep fear that it’s going to come along as normal…does anyone else have that?

Sensations have been sore boobs, twinges in womb and slightly increased hunger. Currently me and DP are the only people in the world who know, I’m loving the secrecy! Not called docs yet, will do it next week when AF has been a definite no-show.

mollymoo0 · 23/03/2018 12:35

I'm the same sore boobs, heavy feeling twitches in womb. I feel also a bit foggy which is maybe tiredness setting in. I want to keep things quiet for as long as possible and I've got two major events soon in which drinking was involved so I'm going to have to pretend I'm drinking Grin

natashaarr · 23/03/2018 13:10

@AaronPurrSir we have the same EDD!! I have had 3 miscarriages in the past so I’m booked in to have a scan on Thursday. I have a midwife appointment on 11/04 as they like you to be past 6 weeks.

I deffo feel like AF is going to come, I’m quite crampy on and off, it isn’t painful just I know it’s there and it’s making me worry. My boobs were sore too but they aren’t too bad today, I found out I was pregnant 2 days ago too! Every time I go to the toilet I expect to see AF, I don’t think that will stop until 12 weeks :( xx

Jt1991 · 23/03/2018 14:55

Hi everyone! I’m 26, first pregnancy and fell first month trying with hubby. 5 weeks tomorrow

Afteraquietlife · 23/03/2018 15:15

Congratulations everyone! I’m 7 weeks pregnant and currently due 10th November with baby number 2! (Could change at scan though!)
Hope everyone is doing okay xx

ellsharks · 23/03/2018 16:42

Hi All! I am 27, 5+6 weeks tomorrow ( i thinkConfused ) with 1st and due 24th November! I had cramps beginning of the week which made me do a test. Cramps gone and now only have heavy boobs, sooo tired and twitching in the womb.

I definitely expected to feel more symptoms but the more of these I read, the more I think its normal not to yet! I'm also realising its normal to be shitting yourself about the worst case scenarios! ...

Jt1991 · 23/03/2018 17:08

@ellsharks I’m due 25th November! I’m the same. Hardly any symptoms and almost want them so it is real! And ditto... I’m super anxious and it’s good to know in a weird way that it’s not just me!

AaronPurrSir · 23/03/2018 17:35

I’ve had 2 nosebleeds today! Just googled and apparently it’s normal and common, but still scary!

HeresMeh · 23/03/2018 17:45

Hi everyone! What a lovely thread to join!

I'm 30 and have been with husband for 11-years this year (married for 4!) and this is our first!

I'm 5+3 and just beyond delighted! I'm really only feeling SUPER tired and really really hungry, but realising the hunger can be quenched by a tiny portion!

Got my booking appointment scheduled for Wednesday, 11 April and it's draaaaaaaaging so slowly - and that appointment is only checking weight and taking blood! Haha!

HeresMeh · 23/03/2018 17:46

@Jt1991 I'm literally the same as you! Riddled with anxiety and probably reading things I shouldn't, so booked a private scan for my 8th week... xxx

keepinghopeful · 23/03/2018 18:08

Hi ladies, can i tentatively join you, im due around 20th nov, sooo glad to see yous have little symptoms as it freaks me out im the same. I have had 3 losses in past year so very anxious will happen again. I have a wee boy who is 11 so technically not my first but that was so long ago i feel like it is as i remember nothing

EL332 · 23/03/2018 18:52

I'm just so excited!

I'm so so exhausted today and so looking forward to the prospect of no work tomorrow 🙌🏼

It's so lovely to see there are so many people who are at the same stage as me! ❤️

I've seen a few people mentioning that they are having early scans at 8 weeks... have you booked them already? I'm really tempted but also think I might try and wait...

I'm waiting to hear back from the midwives at the moment and just want to have my first appointment booked in!

Jt1991 · 23/03/2018 19:09

@EL332 Yeah I booked mine the day after I found out. I have a really busy April so wanted to make sure I got in when I was free! My sister in law had one (and she has literally just gone into labour!) so I knew I wanted one for peace of mind as soon as we started trying. I don’t think I’d be sane by 10 weeks withour having seen someone!

GreenGooner · 23/03/2018 22:20

I'm constantly knicker watching. I just want it to be 12 weeks now. This is so nerve wracking 😐

mollymoo0 · 24/03/2018 07:10

Been cramping for last two days with not much breaks anyone else.

mollymoo0 · 24/03/2018 07:12

I'm also full of wind which is not normal for me

mollymoo0 · 24/03/2018 07:15

During early pregnancy progesterone levels increase and one effect of this is to relax the smooth muscle tissue in your stomach and intestines. The result is wind, bloating, and pain in your stomach, especially after you've eaten. ... The bloating [another common pregnancy symptom] can make the bowel sluggish.^

I seen the above online so feel more reassured now^

EL332 · 24/03/2018 07:20

I've also had lots of wind - and also my stomach is quite loose ...

0lgaDaPolga · 24/03/2018 07:24

I’m tentatively joining, got a bfp yesterday and I am 3w5d based on ovulation date so super early. Hopefully not a chemical pregnancy.

This will be my second, my first is 10 months old and we started ttc number 2 a couple of months ago. I’m happy but a bit shocked it happened so quickly and worrying how it will affect my older baby but it’s so early I’m going to try to not worry too much until I know everything is ok

Emma198 · 24/03/2018 07:49

Oh my god the wind! Not experienced anything like it since I was on slimming world 😁

AaronPurrSir · 24/03/2018 07:52

Yup, wind here too!

Also, my sleep has gone to shit. Averaging 6 hours a night when normally I’m 7.5-8. Taking ages to nod off and then I’m waking up really early. Woke up at 6 today! On a Saturday!! Angry

Anyone else having this?

Emma198 · 24/03/2018 07:53

Me! Waking early and nodding off on sofa at about half 8. Early preparation for what's to come perhaps!
