If we can't be positive about the weather what can we be? Grin

@intelligentPutty ah great news 😊

NoCatsHere · 22/03/2018 13:55

putty that’s great news and even better they could see a heartbeat too.

whyisntlifelikeadisneymovie · 22/03/2018 14:00

Can I join you x

We had a miscarriage in October and fell pregnant again in January, currently 11 weeks and I have my scan on Monday. I've had an early private scan as I was so worried and all was fine but I just can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. I've had awful sickness but the last week all symptoms have disappeared. Can't stop worrying :(

intelligentPutty · 22/03/2018 15:14

Hi

Of course still nervous but relieved to be one step closer...
she prescribed me the progesterone pessary and extra folic acid too.
Welcome @whyisntlifelikeadisneymovie the worry is so difficult. Hope the weekend flies for you and get good scan on Monday. X

AnneLovesGilbert · 22/03/2018 15:54

That's interesting @intelligentPutty Did they give a reason for the additional meds?

Welcome @whyisntlifelikeadisneymovie, sorry for your loss and congratulations on your pregnancy. A lot of people say symptoms, especially nausea, fade naturally around this time as the placenta takes over more so you're a bit more protected. You never know, it might be because things are progressing exactly as they're meant to and you'll be glad you're feeling better Smile

intelligentPutty · 22/03/2018 17:13

@AnneLovesGilbert it's because I've had 1 mc at my age (just 39) means it's worth it. I think.

intelligentPutty · 22/03/2018 17:14

That should say 2 mc.

intelligentPutty · 22/03/2018 17:14

Had an ectopic too so 3 losses in total.

AnneLovesGilbert · 22/03/2018 17:51

Oh love, I’m so sorry. That’s so much loss Flowers. You have excellent care by the sounds of things, medication to support your pregnancy and scans for reassurance. Sending you all good wishes! And such happy great news today, celebrate that for now.

hotcookie · 23/03/2018 11:42

Glad to hear good news on scans for people Smile

I had a follow up scan yesterdat from last weeks which showed slightly high amniotic fluid and doppler resistance readings. The fluid was still a little high but dopplers were ok. However she has gone from head down (which she was last week) to breech again Sad so I'm back to possible elective section... I have an appt at the antenatal clinic at the hospital on monday so I should find out more then. Hopefully they don't tell me I have an unstable lie and admit me there and then-we have NOTHING ready Shock I'm 37+2 and we are living in a building site... Joys

aurora2018 · 23/03/2018 12:50

I spoke to my midwife this morning and EPU but they said there's nothing they can do, so I've managed to get a private scan booked for tomorrow, I'm just so sure that baby has gone :(

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/03/2018 17:11

@aurora2018 Flowers

I really hope your scan gives you good news tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that @hotcookie must be really concerning, and building is the worst at any time so at 37 weeks you must be going mad. Can you get much sorted over the weekend in case you have to go in on Monday? Sending vibes to get her to wriggle round before then!

I’ve got more back ache and had the same slightly tinged cm this afternoon. Sure it’s nothing! Just makes me a bit nervy and we have a super busy lots of walking weekend ahead. Having the sleepiest week, think the cyclogest is getting to me.

aurora2018 · 23/03/2018 20:51

Thank you @AnneLovesGilbert I've totally disconnected from being pregnant, I just hope I'm wrong x

Snorebrown · 24/03/2018 14:50

Thinking of you Aurora hope you are ok

Snorebrown · 24/03/2018 14:51

6 weeks today and already have heartburn. This early?

aurora2018 · 24/03/2018 15:08

@Snorebrown thank you, at the scan place now just waiting to go in x

Snorebrown · 24/03/2018 15:40

Hand hold from afar...

aurora2018 · 24/03/2018 16:11

All absolutely fine! Feel daft for worrying xxx

Snorebrown · 24/03/2018 16:34

Yay!! I am so pleased :0)

intelligentPutty · 24/03/2018 18:59

Fantastic news @aurora2018
So good to hear. X

aetw · 24/03/2018 19:23

@whyisntlifelikeadisneymovie you sound just like me. That how I’ve been feeling. My last miscarriage was also in October and I’m 10 weeks. I was so I’ll at the start of the week but it’s gone off now over the weekend and so the worry has crept back! Worry worry worry! X

LisaSimpsonsbff · 24/03/2018 20:08

Sorry I've been AWOL - been in the US for work the last week and just about to go to airport for flight home! Hope everyone's doing ok - really pleased to see good scan news for aurora and intelligent putty

ek78 · 25/03/2018 07:25

Had a bit of a scare on a Friday night as there was a small (v small, 5p size) brownish stain on my knickers. Nothing on wiping though. I totally spun out and wasn’t sure what to do. The EPU was shut and in my last pregnancy when I had my first signs of miscarriage I went to a&e only to be told my bloods were fine (they weren’t, on closer inspection the next day) and sent to the epu the next day. Anyway, I decided to keep an eye on things this weekend AND booked a private scan for today. I’ve been fine all weekend, no more tinged discharge and no other changes. So please send some good thoughts my way at 10am. I’m terrified!
Glad to hear about good scan news from other people!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/03/2018 07:49

@ek78 Hand hold for you. Any tiny difference sends us into overdrive. Keep us updated and I really hope it's good news for you. I have a feeling we're around the same as each other? 10 week mark?

...........

Scan tomorrow and I'm so damn scared it'll be another mmc. No spotting or pain here, but in my head it doesn't mean anything either way.

ek78 · 25/03/2018 07:55

@unicornsandrainbows thank you!! Yes we are at almost exactly the same stage. I’m 10w2. Will let you know how I get on. Here’s hoping for good news for both of us!
