So pleased to hear your good news, Anne and unicorns!

keeponrunning85 · 14/03/2018 19:44

Woohoo! Great news Anne and unicorns!

Handhold to those having an anxious day.

I've just got back from pregnancy yoga. Trying to find some inner zen! Hmm

Snorebrown · 15/03/2018 07:56

Congratulations unicorns :0)

Im 4 +5 today and have a really good strong line on tests. Is a strong line a good sign do you think?

Star88 · 15/03/2018 10:31

Congratulations @UnicornsandRainbows1 baby looks very comfy!!

Thanks for your concern about my episode. Felt fine after and no other concerns. Until last night...

Morning sickness I'm assuming hit me from 11pm to 3am, thank goodness I'm off work at the moment. How do you guys control it? I've been sipping water, munching on dry biscuits. I even read about almonds so had a few of those. Last night was horrible and I go on honeymoon in a couple of weeks an cannot be that ill there!!

Any help gratefully received. Sorry I feel like I'm always just posting asking for reassurance. You guys are just so lovely!!

ek78 · 15/03/2018 12:41

Yay for good scans! Great news @unicornsandrainbows and @annelovesgilbert!

After my scan deliberations last week, I tried to speed things up but couldn't get a cancellation with the midwife. It's my booking in appointment on Tuesday so I will find out what is possible - and see if they can get me in before 12 weeks. Still, 9 weeks tomorrow (touch wood), feeling positive (for now) and to repeat that excellent mantra above 'Today, I am pregnant'.

hotcookie · 16/03/2018 08:35

So I thought my growth scan seemed ok, however my doppler readings were above 95th centile (diastolic was fine but increased PI and RI) and my amniotic fluid was a bit high, so they have referred my scan to the antenatal clinic who I should hear from today, and I need another next week too.

Will speak to my midwife later and she can hopefully explain things to me as well (have been checking Dr Google which I ALWAYS regret)

Baby was head down though so yay! Smile Although as that head is measuring 40 weeks at 36+1 I'm not sure I should be celebrating!

NoCatsHere · 16/03/2018 10:06

hello, dipping my toe in. please may i join you? i wasn't going to come on here yet, felt like it was far too early to join a group like this, but then i thought that was ridiculous and i saw just so many familiar names from the other group i felt i really needed the support, i'm so happy so many of you are here and doing so well, it's amazing news....flat, anne, unicorns, lisa simpson, hotcookie, bertie, juniper, star, ek78 and probably more i've missed.

i got a bfp yesterday morning, af is due monday. i can't believe it, its exactly a year after my mmc. so my due date is the same this year was it was for last year. i'm over the moon and terrified of course. my 1st mc was 7 weeks and then my mmc was 10weeks so looking at reaching these milestones...i'm 40 this year too!

Will have a read back now and find out how everyone is doing.

keepinghopeful · 16/03/2018 10:17

Can i tentatively join too ... again i see familar faces & happy to see everyone doing so well (i was di626) ... got bfp on monday & of course the anxiety is major of it all going wrong again though i am please willing it to be 4th time lucky. My consultant has prescribed me cyclogest & baby aspirin so hoping they make all the difference!

coastalchick · 16/03/2018 10:27

so could anyone tell me i was taking pregnacare pre conception tablets and have some left (so just continuing with these for now) as well as a few pregnancy ones in a draw from my last mc. But is it worth do you think getting the max ones? with all the extra bits and bobs? i just want to take the best thing i can to make sure all is ok....I mean i have a pretty good diet and eat well, but I guess i just want to do ANYTHING i can to make sure this one sticks....

coastalchick · 16/03/2018 14:01

I'm taking the pregnacare max for the same reason. I think if you are going to worry about not taking them, best to get them. Plus, my diet has been shocking due to morning sickness (veg makes me puke!) so wanted to get the strongest thing down me I could.

NoCatsHere · 16/03/2018 14:08

thanks coastal yes you're right, i don't want to think what if at all this time.... will pick some up today. i guess it can't hurt anyway, like if your body doesn't need the extra nutrients it'll pee them away? sorry you're morning sickness is so bad. i don't seem to get that, just tired and headaches normally. obviously nothing yet...its such early days! how far along are you now?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/03/2018 15:05

@NoCatsHere so excited to see you here! How lovely that your due date is the same 💗

Can I have a hand hold please? Currently waiting for an ultrasound on breast lumps (found them pre pregnancy but was in denial for a while). Not sure what they would even do in pregnancy but just urgh.

coastalchick · 16/03/2018 15:20

@nocats - 13 weeks 4 days - every day is hard and on constant knicker watch but everything has been ok so far, bar a couple of scares.

@grumpy - I had these post MC and consultant said was just hormonal and apparently I have very dense breast tissue! Am sure it will all be fine Hun x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/03/2018 15:24

Thanks coastal they appeared post MC but haven't gone away. Really hoping it's nothing serious.

NoCatsHere · 16/03/2018 18:33

grumpy!! thankyou and it’s so nice to be here. Honestly despite being terrified I am also just so damn happy too. I’d really started to give up that this was going to happen again.
I hope the lumps are nothing sinister, let us know how you get on at the ultrasound x

Welcome to all the new ladies! I hope this one is a sticky one for all of you.

Handhold foxtrot. I think anxiety at this point is inevitable. Monday isn't too far off. Have you got some plans to keep you occupied for the weekend? I know there's nothing I can say to make you feel better, so all I'll say is hope time goes quick and everything is all good when you have your scan on Monday.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/03/2018 19:00

Thankfully all looked like normal breast tissue according to the sonographer . My other breast has something abnormal but they said it's the same lump that I previously had biopsied & turned out to be a benign fibrous thing so they aren't concerned. Phew

Meanwhile baby is wriggling most days. Sometimes more active especially in the evenings. Can't wait to have more movements! I'm 18wks on Monday. Have to wait until 21+3 for my scan though.

coastalchick · 16/03/2018 19:51

So glad you’re ok grumpy!

keepinghopeful · 16/03/2018 19:58

Thanks ladies for the welcome, hopefully its a long stay. Ah good news grumpy.

ek78 · 16/03/2018 20:12

@nocatshere that is great news! Lovely to see you here. Welcome!!

Flatwhite32 · 17/03/2018 07:00

@NoCatsHere SO lovely to see you here! Congratulations .

@TheGrumpySquirrel what a relief for you. I had to have a breast biopsy a few years ago when I found a lump. My mum had breast cancer in 2010, so I was freaking out. Thankfully it was a benign lump called a fibroadenoma, but it was a scary experience. My boobs also went really lumpy after my MMC. Luckily I have rapid access to a breast clinic due to family history, so I ended up there in a panic a couple of months after my MMC. Bloody hormones! So glad all was well with you.
