If we can't be positive about the weather what can we be? Grin

Hi all, lovely to see the newbies on board and lines getting darker/tummies get bigger.

I am 37 weeks today which is full term. I ought to be over the moon but the anxiety has ramped up. I've had a mild upset tummy for the last week but no temperature or any "ill" symptoms - it can be a sign of impending labour but then I've started itching too so I'm worrying about OC. Lack of sleep and pressure of completing work isn't helping I think - spent much of last night trying to work out how I'd manage if I suddenly had to deliver. Anyway sorry for the whinge. I just want to get through the next couple of weeks and have the baby arrive safe and well.

aetw · 13/03/2018 08:19

I have another scan today at 9 weeks. I’m so worked up. I am convincing myself that something’s gone wrong as my right boob is less sore than last week. The 7 week scan was fine with a good heart beat and I’ve been feeling really sick, so why have I worked myself up so much? I just want it to be 2pm now so I know either way. X

Hi all, glad to hear all the positive scans!
Anne. Good luck for your scan on Wednesday!
Msjuniper not long to go!!
Just wanted to come in and give an update - we had our beautiful baby boy last Monday at 37+2.. I ended up being induced early and our wee one spent the past week in NICU but he has done fantastic and we took him home yesterday. He is currently sleeping in the pram beside me Smile
Good luck to everyone I really hope you all have smooth journeys for the rest of your pregnancies! Smile

BertieBotts · 13/03/2018 11:48

@Smurf123 congratulations! Enjoy this amazing time.

@MsJuniper yes I feel your pain. 37 weeks today and DD has chicken pox and is not sleeping. She is so distressed! My anxiety is through the roof too,I know that since I'm immune the baby will be fine as long as it stays put but I can't help but worry and go through all the what if scenarios as I do!
Also working until next week which is taking its toll.

I want to go to sleep and wake up when my baby is safely in my arms!

@FoxtrotSkarloey that would have tipped me over the edge! Intentions are good but no way could I handle that either. Recycling is the best place for it.

@aetw nearly there now. Best of luck for this afternoon. The wait is hideous I know

MsJuniper · 13/03/2018 13:34

@itsgoingtoofast yes I bet your username feels very ironic right now! What bad timing with the pox.

I'm on my way to the hospital to have a blood test for Obstetric Cholestasis. Fingers xed it's nothing but after my googling last night I thought I should call the maternity helpline and they said to come straight in to be checked.

itsgoingtoofast · 13/03/2018 13:54

@MsJuniper yes it could be doing with going faster at the moment to be honest ha ha!

I hope all goes well with your appointment, you're definitely right to get it checked.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 13/03/2018 14:41

Huge congratulations, smurf! Glad to hear he's doing well.

Hope that the scan went well, aetw and that your appointment is reassuring, msjuniper.

DBoo · 13/03/2018 15:37

Just saw smurfs update and that mrsjuniper is here.

I've been on and off the TTC after MC boards and am currently TTC again and it's so lovely seeing happy news from others that have been there formerly know as gingerbreadmam.

Lovely.

aetw · 13/03/2018 17:58

All good! A positive to end the day! Smile I couldn’t be happier!

Penguin34 · 13/03/2018 18:08

Hello, I'm 13 weeks now after a miscarriage in October.
I feel so much better after my 12 week scan, was literally checking my knickers every couple of hours before the scan. To see it jumping about is just incredible!

Congratulations to everyone 💕

LisaSimpsonsbff · 13/03/2018 18:40

Great news, aetw! And cute scan pic!

Glad you're feeling better and calmer, penguin.

Flatwhite32 · 13/03/2018 18:51

Hi everyone! I've fallen off the radar a bit as work has been so so busy. I'm shattered as a result, and in bed by 9.30 most nights! 21 weeks now and still anxious, especially when I go for hours without feeling her move.

@aetw great news!

@Penguin34 Glad your 12 week scan went well.

@Smurf123 that's lovely news. Congrats on your new rainbow bundle.

@MsJuniper bless you. I hope your bundle arrives soon.

@kirinm scanxiety is a very real thing for us ladies. It's horrible, and we just have to hope everything will be ok. I've vomited with nerves before every scan. Got everything crossed for you.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 First trimester tiredness is on another level! I took it as a positive sign that hormone levels were doing their thing. How are you feeling overall?

@AnneLovesGilbert Good luck for tomorrow!

@Pinkvoid my MMC at 12 weeks was symptomless too, and I still had all my pregnancy symptoms. So very cruel. I really hope this is your sticky bean.

@Snorebrown Hope you've had no more pink cm. I had pink, brown and red blood at 6 weeks which caused a huge panic, but it was one of those random things, and I'm now 21 weeks.

Star88 · 13/03/2018 19:00

Sooo reassurance needed...
Woke up in the middle of the night feeling weird, tossed and turned for a bit just feeling really uncomfortable all over. Then I notice I'm like getting hotter and feeling sick so I make it to the bathroom and put my wrists under the cold tap. I'm now like wet with sweat, then I just like collapse on the floor. Couple of minutes later it's like nothing happened. It was horrific!! 😞

BertieBotts · 13/03/2018 20:50

Star are you alright? Maybe you should go and get checked out. Hot flashes can be normal, but collapsing isn't. Are you in another time zone or just waited until now to post? Do you have a temperature?

keeponrunning85 · 13/03/2018 20:58

Congratulations smurf! I'm so glad you've got your little man home.

Great news on the scan aetw. I hope the reassurance lasts as long as possible.

Star, no idea if that is pregnancy related. Have you been feeling ok today? If not maybe you have a virus?

I have managed to get myself into a more rational place with regards to pre-eclampsia risk following last week's antenatal clinic appointment. I'm going to keep an eye on my blood pressure at work, but try and limit myself to checking it twice a week. I have managed to bring myself to buy some new bras and order some maternity jeans as I well and truly cannot do mine up anymore. And seeing as today I am having one of those days where I literally want to continuously stuff my face it is only going in one direction! Also, pretty certain I've felt some flutterings the past few days which is nice.

Good luck to those with scans tomorrow. (I know Anne definitely has and someone else but I can't remember who, sorry.) I will have my fingers crossed for you.

MsJuniper · 13/03/2018 21:16

@DBoo are you gingerbreadmam? If so hello! I was thinking about you the other day. Really hope you get the happy ending you truly deserve.

GreyCloudsToday · 13/03/2018 21:31

Wow what brilliant updates! Huge congratulations on your new baby Smurf!

Congratulations on reaching full term MsJuniper and Itsgoingtoofast. Starting to get so real now I'm sure, and what a knackering point in pregnancy.

I hope it's just itchy skin and not OC MsJuniper

Yay aetw and Penguin Flowers

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 13/03/2018 21:50

@Flatwhite32 I'm hoping so. I'm bricking it over my scan tomorrow morning so hopefully that's okay. Luckily my manager has let me have the day off (I needed to use some annual leave anyway).

MsJuniper · 13/03/2018 21:51

I didn't hear back from the clinic so hopefully that's a good sign. I was on a tube for a while but if it was urgent surely they'd have left a message?

@Star88 that sounds scary, hope you are feeling better.
