If we can't be positive about the weather what can we be? Grin

Yes that's what happens to me. I think in the first days of movement it can definitely be sporadic and it's nothing to worry about because it's to do with the baby being small.

It's more after 22/24 weeks that they want you feeling regular movement.

Guys. Cramping in your first trimester...?? Did you get it?? How would you describe it?? Getting pains and it feels like mild-moderate period pains and I'm getting concerned. No blood :)

BlueeSpottyTiger · 10/03/2018 21:44

Star I'm 21 weeks and still get very crampy! It panics me and i always have to check for blood. My miswife said it's the uterus streching and normal

I've been feeling this baby (#2)wriggle since 16+1 his kicks are getting really strong now and i feel him the most after eating and drinking, he goes nuts hehe.
My placenta is right at the top and posterior though xx

BertieBotts · 10/03/2018 21:54

Yes crampy. Though different to when I miscarried - but hard to tell in the beginning and I know any twinge makes you panic at that stage.

Hi please can I join? I had a BFP yesterday after 2 miscarriages back to back. Safe to say i feel pretty scared. I have been taking 75mg of aspirin whilst TTC but not sure if its ok to continue now. I seem to find conflicting advice. I've not been diagnosed with anything just read it can help with implantation. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience please?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/03/2018 00:07

He's wriggling again tonight which I just love. Can't wait for it to be more often.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/03/2018 08:47

I'm going into the 8th week (when baby passed last time) and I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through this week sane.

For someone trying to be so unattached I half worry a lot

LisaSimpsonsbff · 11/03/2018 09:20

Hugs, unicorns - it's so tough to be at one of your previous 'danger points'. Try and take this week one day at a time, and don't judge yourself for not feeling 'detached' enough, etc. - let yourself feel how you feel about it.

BertieBotts · 11/03/2018 11:18

Unicorns just lots of distraction and one day at a time! It's scary to pass those milestones but they do pass, hopefully without incident, and then you can relax a little more - obviously not completely Hmm

@unicornsandrainbows Sending a hand squeeze. I've just passed 8 weeks and approaching 9 with a lot of trepidation (found out about mmc in the 9th week last time).

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/03/2018 12:59

Thanks ladies. It's just so tiring being so anxious all the time. I really hope I'll calm down soon

@ek78 I found out about my mc at 9 weeks too. We have a scan then and oh my the dread is real.

keeponrunning85 · 11/03/2018 15:09

You're right unicorns, it is exhausting. I just try and do one day at a time and eventually you get through enough days to tick off another week.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 11/03/2018 15:12

It is completely exhausting, especially with the rest of pregnancy to contend with. I don't know if this helps at all, as obviously we're all different, but I've found that as I've got further along I still feel just as worried but time does go much faster. Each week no longer feels like quite so long.

Star88 · 11/03/2018 21:24

Thank you @BertieBotts and @BlueeSpottyTiger you've helped put my mind at ease. Constantly checking the toilet paper... x

Snorebrown · 12/03/2018 06:17

Is anyone else still testing every day? I dont know why i do it but seeing those sticks helps

LisaSimpsonsbff · 12/03/2018 06:39

snore I tested every day until my first scan. I agree that I can't really explain why but it did help - I know that for lots of other people it ramps up rather than easing anxiety. Just like scans, I guess. I think if it's...

Snorebrown · 12/03/2018 07:04

They are getting darker which is helping. Last time (early mc) they kind of stayed the same. Next stop is a digi one and hoping it says 2-3 weeks :0)

Snorebrown · 12/03/2018 12:21

Oh :0( Some pink tinged cm today :0(

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/03/2018 15:18

Had my mw appointment today. They've referred me for a scan for Wednesday which is nice. She keeps trying to be positive and went through the options I can have for giving birth. Went in one ear and out the other along with all the nope surrounding it

Pinkvoid · 12/03/2018 16:43

I’m 6+2 following two MMC’s last year. My first MMC I just had some brown spotting at 11 weeks so almost reached the ‘safe zone’ and was reassured Brown was old and therefore normal. Definitely wasn’t for me Sad, had a scan which confirmed the heart had stopped at 8 weeks.

Second MMC I had NO spotting at all... no sign anything had gone wrong. Got to the 12 week scan thinking everything would be ok to be told heartbeat stopped at 9 weeks. This was after seeing the heartbeat twice Sad. That was in November.

I’m understandably petrified now and have a minor panic every time I go to the loo (which is often!). I’d like to feel reassured by my strong nausea and fatigue but I had that last time too so I just have no indication of anything being right or wrong and it’s terrifying.

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/03/2018 21:49

Scan twins unicorns Smile

I’ve got my first scan Wednesday when I’ll be 6+5. Nervous as hell but can’t help feel a bit excited too.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/03/2018 21:53

@AnneLovesGilbert Oh I have everything crossed for you! Is it private or are they being super nice to you too? It seems a complete contrast this time round, like they've actually woken up about it or something (makes me a bit sad for my last pregnancy though)

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/03/2018 21:57

It’s standard practise under my RMC, 6, 8, and 10 weeks then if all well they transfer you to “normal” antenatal care.

I’ve never had a good scan so if this is one it’ll be amazing. I know it’s not a guarantee of anything and in some ways must make it even harder for people who have a good scan followed by a mc or mmc. But as a first I can’t help but get my hopes up.

How are you doing? Glad you’re having good care this time Smile

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 13/03/2018 06:50

@AnneLovesGilbert Well at the same time, everyone should be allowed to have a positive scan and experience that relieved feeling (even if it lasts for point 0.54 seconds before you start to worry again).

Keep us updated!

All is okay here currently. Weirdly I'm suddenly tired all day now. Not sure why that's crept in only now and not earlier like every other time Smile

kirinm · 13/03/2018 07:45

I'm starting to feel very anxious again. I'm 15w today and have a scan next week - it's to measure cervix length as I had a Lletz treatment previously. I'm really nervous baby will have stopped developing. I'm definitely a little fatter than I was but I've not had even the hint of a flutter or anything else that is vaguely reassuring. My nausea has also finally calmed down which whilst I'm over the moon about it, I've lost the little reassurance I got from that.

I actually think the scan being so close is what's causing my anxiety to increase. I think I prefer the time between scans and appointments where I can pretend nothing is happening.
