Loonyluna16 · 02/03/2018 18:16

Baby looks very comfy in there 😂 just chilling out. Great pic @pinkypromise77

Ktn35 · 02/03/2018 18:21

Oh what a sweet photo 😍 I'm so jealous!!! Still got nearly 2 weeks till my 12 week scan! Might join the October babies thread so I am the first somewhere too 😝

Ktn35 · 02/03/2018 18:22

Who else is still waiting for first scan?!

polkadotpixie · 02/03/2018 18:34

@Ktn35 Me! Mine is next Tuesday Smile

Friendsinhighplaces · 02/03/2018 18:41

Yep, next Thurs

niclw · 02/03/2018 18:43

@PinkyPromise77 Looks like a very happy baby you have there.

@Ktn35 I haven't had mine either. Next Friday morning for me at 13 weeks.

RedRobin7 · 02/03/2018 18:49

@Ktn35 Mines not until 20th 😔 When's yours? Baby was measuring a week behind at my 8 week scan so I hope it's caught up. Really want my due date to remain in September!

Ktn35 · 02/03/2018 18:50

Ah that's reassuring. How are you guys feeling? Week 10 has been hell ... hoping next week will be easier! Who else is due 29th? Someone was I'm sure and I've forgotten!

RedRobin7 · 02/03/2018 18:55

@Ktn35 That's me due 29th... for now! ☺️

Ktn35 · 02/03/2018 18:56

Yes of course I remember now! Yey! I hope I stay there too!

Sianstone87 · 02/03/2018 21:35

Had my 12 week scan on Tuesday. Have a very active baby apparently! Few days over so I am now 13+4 due 3rd September.

Is anyone getting stitch like pains in their tummy. I hope it is just growing pains??

@ktn35 I'm still waiting for my scan. It's not till the 16th and I'll be 13w5d. The next two weeks I'm sure will go super slow!

LAPMLB020918 · 03/03/2018 12:22

Hi, I’m new to mumsnet. My baby is due 2nd September. I’ve recently been seeing post about a so called nub/skull theory what even is it and do people believe it? Xx

ThorsMistress · 03/03/2018 12:31

Hi all.

I have my 12 week scan 20th of March when I’ll be 13+1

Just want it to hurry up as I’m panicking so much in this pregnancy Sad

CJ1990 · 03/03/2018 14:49

Is anyone still worrying after their 12 week scan? I had mine a week ago and it was perfect! But can’t stop worrying

CJ1990 · 03/03/2018 14:50

Meant to add to that that it’s driving me crazy! I have zero pregnancy symptoms and should be happy but just can’t relax..anyone the same? Or advice on how to be more relaxed and positive?? Would be appreciated!

CJ1990 · 03/03/2018 14:53

@redrobin7 I measured a week behind at a private scan. The guy told
Me I was 9 and should have been 10. Remember arguing as I New exactly when i ovulated and it was impossible! But at my 12 weeks I was bob on track give or take a day :)

Ktn35 · 03/03/2018 17:17

Think it's quite hard to measure early on. My external scan said baby was small but she then did an internal scan that measured it spot on. Just think they are so tiny it's hard. I am so sick of feeling sick. If you don't have symptoms ... celebrate!! :) xxx

Ktn35 · 03/03/2018 17:18

Good to see other people are still waiting for scans too. I just want to wish away the next two sicky weeks 😩 I'm 10 weeks now. When will I stop feeling awful? I'm terrified this will go on until September!!!

RedRobin7 · 03/03/2018 17:34

@CJ1990 That's reassuring, thanks for telling me! I can't stop thinking about it being a week behind because I've seen so many posts with people saying they were a week behind and then they had a miscarriage before 12 weeks. Im just holding on to the fact we heard the heartbeat. The sonographer did an internal and external scan and baby measured the same both times. I'm such a worrier and my husband keeps saying we shouldn't have had an early scan as it's probably just caused unnecessary worry. My sister and SIL both had 8 week scans and they were all okay so I just expected the same! I don't really have any symptoms - occasional nausea, tired in the evenings and bloating. Just want the 12 week scan to hurry up now! Someone in my family just announced they're having a baby in September - maybe she's on here haha! That's my thunder stolen lol!

Ktn35 · 03/03/2018 18:16

@Redrobin I know so many people who measured small and:or had no symptoms and were fine 😊 But I know how worrying it all is. Worth another private scan just to reassure yourself?? Xx

RedRobin7 · 03/03/2018 18:19

@Ktn35 My husband refuses to pay another £95 for a private scan. He's just so laid back about it all and says what will be will be. He just hasn't got a clue!! My best friend who doesn't have much money offered to pay for another scan for me but I said we have the money but my husband doesn't agree with the early scans. I was lucky he didn't complain the first time. 17 days to go, feels like ages away!

CJ1990 · 03/03/2018 18:25

I had zero symptoms except throwing up a whole two times, but I’m pretty sure those two times was my fault and I just ate to early or something.
I do think we are lucky to have no symptoms compared to others who have it horrible, but I do think it causes worry when you feel NOTHING! I still worry about it and my 12 week scan was fine.

In regards to the early scan, it helped a little, but caused more worry for me. All I could think about was him saying I was 9 weeks rather than 10! So all in all it was useful
To have in a sense that I New baby was alive there and then, but it didn’t really put my mind at ease.

Ktn35 · 03/03/2018 18:26

I got a groupon deal for £33?! Men are very annoying. My partner got cross with me when I kept obsessively using pregnancy tests 😬 He just didn't get it. I also used to wake up in the middle of horrific and very visual nightmares about miscarriages and worse. He was not massively helpful and just kept saying that he didn't understand why I was so worried. That has all passed now even though I still worry. I think feeling sick has helped reassure me actually - I guess you've not had that 😔 I think the men just can't imagine what it's like when it is your body. We haven't got long to go. We can start counting down now! Have you tried moving your appointment forward? They often can do that ... ? Xx
