@PinkyPromise77 I feel your pain, I had two bad migraines last week and wasn't able to take anything. I did rub some Forehead above my eye where it hurt the most and it was soothing for all of 10 mins but better than nothing. I find I can't sleep because it hurts too much but it won't stop hurting unless I sleep! 12 hours of lying in bed on Friday before it became manageable. I try to eat as soon as a migraine comes on.. on Tuesday I was eating my dinner only able to see half of what was on the plate and having to use my fork in my left hand because my right hand/arm was completely dead ! I'm always worse and more sick if I don't eat. Sorry I can't help but wanted you to know you're not alone. I'm going to mention it to my midwife on Friday at my booking in appointment. I've always suffered from migraines but very rare to have two in 3 days!

polkadotpixie · 19/02/2018 21:55

I'm suffering with migraines too Sad

I do suffer with them anyway but usually only about one a month and I've had two in the last week and about 6 since finding out I'm pregnant, they are not fun so I completely sympathise with you ladies. I hate when they strike away from home and I can't see to drive myself home

PinkyPromise77 · 20/02/2018 00:01

Ok my sis just said that she was suffering with migraines and her midwife said paracetamol is ok to take during pregnancy.

I took 1 small dose and it was almost instant relief. So pleased I was able too as I was also sick at the same time which wasn’t helping at all...

Has anyone’s morning sickness started at week 10?? Very confused! I was doing fine with pretty much no symptoms up to a week ago. Now I’ve thrown up twice and exhausted..! Thought things should be clearing up not getting worse? Anyone else? Xx

Fruitcocktail6 · 20/02/2018 07:43

What's everyone with morning sickness doing about work? I'm currently in bed and should be getting ready, but I can't stand up for very long without feeling faint and dizzy. I'm going to have to call in sick and possibly tell my boss I'm pregnant.

cakeanytype · 20/02/2018 07:50

Fruit cocktail... I begged my doctor fr anti sickness tablets .. avomine.. worked a treat .. wht u supposed to do call in sick fr months ?!

PinkyPromise77 · 20/02/2018 07:50

Yeah I thought so too @CJ1990... I was doing great up until mid of 9th week. Just mild nausea but nothing crazy... since then it’s been awful. I’m getting nauseous from about 12pm and then start throwing up from 3pm onwards... last night I was still sick at midnight 😳

As for work... my work knows but I just deal with it and I’m just sick at work... not ideal but since no one else knows apart from my bosses and a Work friend I can’t keep taking afternoons off I’m thinking or am I too nice? 😂

@cj1990, I have had nausea the whole way through (no actual sickness though) it had been mostly mild and in the evenings with the odd bad day thrown in, since the end of last week (i’m 11 + 4) the nausea has definitely ramped up a notch, it is all day every day. Still not physically being sick but I feel wretched constantly now. I’m hoping it’s a final hooray and that soon it’s going to calm down

Fruitcocktail6 · 20/02/2018 08:05

I don't know if I'll qualify for anti sickness tablets as it's quite bad nausea rather than vomiting. My job is quite physical and if i can't stand up for long I am not much use

radio4junkie · 20/02/2018 08:05

had my scan yesterday and I’m 13 weeks due end of August so I guess I have to leave this group now?!

Congratulations cake any type on your scan! It’s incredible seeing the bean!

I’m totally emotional too, been teary in work and at any tv/ radio thing! 😢😬

CJ1990 · 20/02/2018 08:11

Thanks ladies - guess I should feel better now I feel sick! Kept saying I was worried I had no symptoms..jinxed it!
My work know but only because I had a very early scan due to bleeding and had the day off. Didn’t I want to lie. I don’t mind them knowing as it makes things easier - and if the worst happens I’d need a few days off at least so wouldn’t want to drop a bomb shell! That’s just me tho. The two days I’ve thrown up this week I’ve managed to drag myself in as luckily I have a desk job. X

Scoobysue10 · 20/02/2018 08:15

My sickness got worse around 10 wks. That's when I got my antisickness tablets as just couldn't keep anything down for 3 days.

Have to remember i'm not super womanat the moment.
Lifted a couple of heavyish boxes yesterday. Carried hoover up stairs and was clearing rubbish from under bed and yep have pulled my back. Start work at 2pm today so hoping to rest with hot water bottle on it and take paracetamol and hope it helps.

Helen290 · 20/02/2018 08:21

I am 12+ 3 is anyone else getting hip aches only mild and back aches everything just feels very tight lol? And I am worrying about everything lol, my nausea is still bad especially in the morning was sick today it's tends to get bad any time I'm hungry basically, hoping it gets better soon.

Scoobysue10 · 20/02/2018 08:31

Helen290.
I have been ok really.
Done lots of walking last Thursday which I suffered for the next day with slight backache but other than that no pain. But pulled my back yesterday it bloody hurts.
I suffered alot of hip pain in my 2nd pregnancy from around 8wks till the end and had to give up work at 16 wks. But I realised that was due to my mattress.
Sleeping on a blow up mattress on daughters bedroom floor currently and that's quite comfy.

Kila88 · 20/02/2018 08:33

Hi ladies, I’m 10 weeks today and have to say pregnancy is kicking my butt, I have never felt soo ill, it’s also interfering with my job now too. Can’t keep anything down and have lost 10lbs. Please tell me it gets better.

Helen290 · 20/02/2018 10:09

@Scoobysue10 it's weird I seem to get it on and off I had it at 10 weeks, 8 and 6 back aches but never hip aches that started this weekend only mild just everything feels very tight and I think when I'm at work I slouch a bit got a chair support now but sitting a lot probably doesn't help, I am wondering if it's our mattress or the way I sleep as last night I just couldn't get comfortable each side I lied my hip started aching , so I'm guessing that's all normal then? Lol I just worry with new things lol.

Scoobysue10 · 20/02/2018 10:25

Kila88
If you are being sick alot and getting dehydrated then maybe speak to your Dr as they can give you antisickness tablets that are safe in pregnancy.

Helen290.
Everything is softening and stretching so can get aches.
I bought a support belt from mothercare with my 2nd pregnancy. You wear it around your lower back and hips and just gives a bit more support, I found it helped.
See how you go. May need to invest in a new mattress if gets worse.

rdm10 · 20/02/2018 14:29
