@cakeanytype good luck for tomorrow I’ve got mine tomorrow morning too feeling nervous as well - hope it’s good news for us both x

SeattleKate · 18/02/2018 21:13

@marriageoftrueminds, I also feel like mine are really coming and going and getting lighter. I’ve mainly had breast soreness, been extremely tired and dodgy tummy but all feeling ok today. Feeling quite worried :/.

Scoobysue10 · 18/02/2018 23:01

12 wks +1 and I am so full of wind. Have been passing wind all wkend lol.
Indigestion and heart burn bad as well. Never had it this early in previous 2 pregnancies. Gaviscon becoming my new best friend.
Have been eating really well these past 5 days. Eating cheese again. I love cheese but went off it early on.
I am missing my spicy food, love spicy food but I am now noticing the slightest spice. I'm finding food spicy that I never did before and then end up getting heart burn.

Scoobysue10 · 19/02/2018 07:04

Helen290.
Your scan picture is just amazing. It's so clear. Bet it was lovely seeing your little baby all safe and well in there.

Snowy1982. Bet your also relieved at seeing you baby too and safe and well.
Those first 12 wks are suchere a worry.
I have my scan on Friday i'll be 12 +6

snowy1982 · 19/02/2018 07:25

@scoobysue10, yes I was very relieved, and the relief seems to have lasted, after previous scans by this stage I had already found something else to worry about Smile

It was good telling my brothers, they were so happy for us and one of them was actually quite emotional about it

Helen290 · 19/02/2018 09:14

@Scoobysue10 thank you I was really pleased with the picture quality, booked my 20 week scan today the 12th April 🙂, feels like ages away lol I do feel relief after the 12 week scan but I am still worrying a little I think it's in my nature been having very mild twinges and cramps but I have had this the whole way through my pregnancy not severe at all just very mild lol still makes me worry tho, got my 16 week midwife appointment on the 20 th March which breaks up the wait a little bit I will be so excited when I finally start showing properly and feeling the baby.
I have had terrible wind over the weekend too been so bloated! Still have nausea in the morning but it's definitely better over the last few days so that's something, nice to hear your able to eat again must be nice 🙂.

PinkyPromise77 · 19/02/2018 09:42

So pleased for all your scans ladies! I managed to move mine for 12 weeks so will be on 2nd March. It’s horrible this wait... and not being able to tell anyone. Can’t wait to finally be able to tell people :)

Sickness got worse too... I thought it supposed to be getting better towards 12 weeks lol not worse! Started last week and I’ve been sick more and more every day :(

I don’t really want to take pills as it’s not constant but definitely it is not fun...

Snowy1982
Sounds like your brothers are really overjoyed. That's lovely.

Helen290. My 16wk appointment is with consultant at hospital on 15th of March haven't got appointment for 20 wk scan yet.

snowy1982 · 19/02/2018 10:22

@scoobysue10 they really were.

So has anyone else suffered from baby brain yet?? I keep forgetting things and I am usually so good at remembering what needs done and when. This morning I was coming into the office with intention of working on one thing in particular, went to pull the files out of my cupboard to get stuck in and couldn’t find them, then remembered I had brought them home to work on over weekend (which I didn’t do) and completely forgot about them and have left them there

Scoobysue10 · 19/02/2018 10:30

Definitely got the baby brain. Have done for a couple of wks. Have been forgetting to hand over information at work. Forgetting what's been said to me. I have also been stropey lately and being a complete woman and taking things to heart. Not like me at all.
Having to keep apologising.
Anyone else having to change their car.
Luckily my son has just stopped needing his booster seat so can fit baby and kids in car when baby comes but realised i can only fit a pushchair in my boot. Not room for anything else lol.
So looks like i'll have to get a bigger car.
But my daughter will be OK as she can have my little car to learn to drive in.
One happy daughter lol

snowy1982 · 19/02/2018 10:56

@scoobysue10 not having to change but had already been planning to change DH car this year, so I would get a new one and he would get my current one (which is only 4 year old) but think we are going to have to upgrade size wise now as well. We have 2 dogs (they travel in a custom built box for the boot of car) and would like to have enough room for dogs and all baby stuff so we can all go out for walks together

PinkyPromise77 · 19/02/2018 12:47

Oh my gosh I was just about to post that too @snowy1982! I am so sharp and on it and usually and remember everything... now I forget everything... keep messing times and dates and forget everything... It's so frustrating...

So pleased to hear your brothers were so happy for you :) Super cute!

Think I’m out ladies. I’m bleeding very heavily and having strong period pains. Waiting for DH to get home to watch ds then I’ll go up to the hospital.
10wks today- heartbroken.

PinkyPromise77 · 19/02/2018 13:33

Helen290 · 19/02/2018 15:43

@rdm10 hope everything is ok I'll have my fingers crossed for you.

Ktn35 · 19/02/2018 18:32

@rdm10 my thoughts are with you xxx

Anyone else close to crying all day? Yesterday I cried when that Olympic girl got a medal ... then at the man with leprosy in call the midwife ... then today when of reading Of Mice And Men with some Y9s! Everyone thinks I'm mad!

I'm also soooo breathless ... it makes me look really unfit! Is this just me or is this a thing?!

CJ1990 · 19/02/2018 18:51

Maybe super late to the party here! But I’d love to join in. :) Almost 11 weeks - 12 week scan on Friday and bricking myself!! X

cakeanytype · 19/02/2018 19:16

Hi cj.... super exciting times scan time !!! And Nerve wracking Grin

81louise · 19/02/2018 19:29

@cakeanytype, glad your scan went well

niclw · 19/02/2018 19:34

@Ktn35 I'm with you in the crying. I've had to stop watching the Olympics as I kept bursting into tears. I've thankfully managed to stop actual tears from falling while in lessons. It's a good job I'm not teaching earthquakes at the minute.

I'm breathless from time to time too. Apparently it's due to increased blood in our bodies. I'm going to mention to my midwife though as I'm really struggling at times. Particularly first thing in the morning.

cakeanytype · 19/02/2018 19:42

Thanks Louise !! Fingers crossed 🤞 had two miscarriages in last 12 months ... they were very early though XX

PinkyPromise77 · 19/02/2018 19:52
