@Marriageoftrueminds I've been referred today to have blood tests done, hopefully it's a giant miscalculation of dates or conception but I can't see how I'd have got it 2/3 weeks out.... I think perhaps it stopped developing then... very sad... thank you for your support x

Hi ladies, was at my booking appointment today I've been classed as a high risk pregnancy for pre eclampsia and diabetes. Has anyone else had this I'm just a bit worried now. I've to start a course of asprin after my 12 week scan and been upped to 5mg of folic acid also xx

@snowy1982 ah yeh a wedding would be hard in regards to alcohol, that's awesome tho that you got to see the bean again 🙂, I was surprised my image was so clear maybe it's a new machine?.

Well I jus managed to gt another scan on Monday morning to check bean is ok after this bleeding n brown discharge...fingers crossed

Hi, sorry I am new, due 7th sept, we weeks today. We had a scan at 7+4 so we got to see a heart beat as they thought I was 14 weeks gone. Just waiting for the 12 weeks scan now.

I haven’t had any sickness but extremely tired and just want to sleep. Is anyone else hungry all the time? I can’t stop eating!

Currently I am in bed, had the flu jab and I am sure it has given me the flu, feel terrible and can’t take anything!

Hi sian that’s great news about seeing the babies heart beat early, when is your 12 week scan? I am like a bottomless pit atm, I am hungry ALL the time

I have had the flu jab and was told it was an inactive (so not live) vaccine which means it shouldn’t cause flu. It sounds like you have been unlucky and caught something which is an annoying coincidence! Have you had any morning sickness? Hope you feel better soon

I can’t wait to hit 12 weeks so I can start telling people - support is what will keep me going I think. I’m keeping my nausea at bay by eating a —punnet— grapes. Hope everyone has a lovely Friday evening xx

@Loonyluna16 I had gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy, it can be controlled by diet. Have u had your gtt test?

I also got sent for bloods, my lft came back abnormal -- I have an underlying liver disease that I have had since young. I am now starting to get worried about it, gp has referred me back to liver specialist.

Just my luck, fingers crossed.

Been out for a curry tonight with a friend. It was my birthday last week and for my pressie she gave me a bottle of wine. Thankfully we were in a restaurant and I was driving so was able to bring it home. I felt so guilty sitting there thinking that I should tell her but I've still got 3 weeks till my scan as it's not till 13 weeks.

Are anyone else’s symptoms really coming and going? I’m 8+1. Last week I had awful nausea (sometimes all day) although I realise I’m lucky I didn’t throw up! I’ve also had sore breasts right from
Before my BFP. But this week I have hardly felt sick at all and my boobs are a lot less sore. I’m fearful that the little bean has checked out! I’m still exhausted all the time though so maybe that’s hopeful! Thanks in advance x

Sorry I'm late to the message thread - congratulations everyone! I'm due the end of Sept with twins and slightly terrified but very excited! So far had no sickness thankfully but constantly starving! Anyone else also insatiable?!

Thanks @BeesKnees9 I am glad it is not just me that can't seem to stop eating! I have been lucky and had no morning sickness.

My scan is on 27th Feb so fingers crossed everything is ok. I have been so anxious waiting for the scan.

Out of interest has anyone been in a situation with work where you had just started a new job and found yourself pregnant? It's happened to me, this is my first baby and had to leave my last job through stress and it seems as soon as the stress left I got pregnant. Now I am going to have to tell my new employer after only a few months of being there that I am pregnant. Not an ideal situation!

@LucyMD Congrats! I think you're the first person having twins on the September boards There's also a September board under the antenatal groups, so I follow both. Meeting all these ladies has definitely helped me. I never thought I'd be this anxious when my time came!

@LucyMD wow twins, how exciting! Congratulations! I am also constantly hungry and it's not helping with fitting into my clothes!

Ok so help me out here ... my apps are telling me different things!

I am 8 weeks 1 day pregnant so that means I have just entered week 9 of pregnancy (but obviously not completed it) right?

Many apps say I am in week 8 - but surely I have completed week 8?! The first week is called week 1 not week 0 so it must be?!

My symptoms come and go and vary each day. Some days nausea, but some days fine. No sickness yet though. Also been constipated, tired, lots of belly twinges, headaches, appetite been all over the place. I don't WANT anything, but if I let myself get even a tiny bit hungry I feel so sick I can hardly move.

@Snowy1982 I have colluded with my MIL that I have given up alcohol for lent when we go to an engagement party for their side of the family. We are going to tell them while we are down there, but don't want to take the glow away from the happy couple, so MIL has organised a Sunday dinner. I am waiting for Step Grandma to be telling me I look like I have lost weight! Every time we meet she tells me, but I know I haven't this time!! My jeans barely fit if I am sat down now. It's a bit early (9+4, will be 10+4) but we will not be seeing them for a while and want to tell them in person

Yesterday I was helping a friend get his house in order after a burglary, so the night before was a late one waiting for the police, then cleaning of Friday. I have over did it and had a big red bleed.

Been for a check up and got a tummy scan as baby is big enough. Hall healthy, heart beat going well

Hi everyone, been so sick last couple days. I couldn't resist booking an early scan after reading about everyone's experiences.
It was worth every penny and makes the sickness worth it.

Since hubby and I weren't planning on trying till next year this is a big surprise and I'm still waiting for the I'm gonna be a mom penny to drop!

I am 9+4 due roughly 20/9.
My booking appt is on Thursday and then i get my scan date....i dont think i will believe it is real till then. Anyone else feel the same?
