Hi everyone. Have been absent all week. Have struggled with extreme tiredness this week. Everyone else at work has been struggling too and they're not pregnant so am guessing it's the end of half term sleepiness. Am so looking forward to a week at home resting.

@Kiztok Glag everything went well for you today x

81louise · 09/02/2018 21:08

@Missamy94 Yeahy me too!! but measuring 6+6 not 8+2 but been told it's entirely normal due to the small size and we will know more at the dating scan

lookingforaline18 · 09/02/2018 21:17

I had my scan today and baby is fine. I'm measuring 7w1d whereas I thought I was 7w6d. My EDD is 27th September.
Also got told I have a subchorionic hematoma, so I hope nothing bad happens!

nik1985 · 09/02/2018 21:24

Hello 😊 I’ve had my booking in appointment today, all was fine apart from having a bmi of 30.44, so now have to take extra folic acid and VitD3. Did have a chuckle as have gone through my adult years thinking I was 5cm taller than I actually am 🙈😩 Hence I thought my bmi was below 30, when in fact it’s over! Due date is 20/9/18, starting to feel a little bit more real now! Haven’t had a CO measurement, just my BP and urine today and bloods next week.

Scoobysue10 · 09/02/2018 21:49

Well I have lost 6lbs since I was last weighed 2 wks ago. That's better than the 1st I lost through sickness with my son..
Have managed to eat a bit more than yesterday. As although tablets have stopped the sickness I am still struggling to eat loads late afternoon into evening. Although am getting hungry when going to bed so snacking on crackers and now constipated.

bitzy12 · 10/02/2018 08:04

@Scoobysue10 there is a hypermesis thread on here if you haven't been over to it yet. It's great and offers so much support. I just got out of hospital on Thursday for it. I've lost half a stone. Feeling slightly better but know it won't last and I'll be back in for fluids at some point. Hope you are ok x

Scoobysue10 · 10/02/2018 09:40

Oh OK bitzy12.
Yes I am alot better now on tablets.
I was worried as wasn't taking fluids so thought I would end up in hospital having fluids. But all is well. X

@pinkypromise77 you can buy small battery operated carbon monoxide detectors from the supermarket. We had a gas leak several years ago (it was leaking at the meter not inside so first we knew was when the boiler kept cutting out) and I went straight out and bought one!
It might be handy as you can take it in the house/car/work and find out where the issue is.

Helen290 · 10/02/2018 13:16

@Scoobysue10 I haven't had lots of sickness only in the morning just nausea all day which seems to be worse this week it's the food aversions which are getting to me I just don't want anything I weighed and I'm the same as I always am? I thought I would gain some weight seen as I have been able to eat some things is this normal not to gain much?

PinkyPromise77 · 10/02/2018 17:45

Good point about the car and thanks for the tip @Flamingo84 will look for one to test where it may be happening... but odd as definitely don’t live in polluted area nor spend much time in traffic so would be interesting to know...

Hi all ,... just wondering if anyone is suffering with back pain at all?

missamy94 · 10/02/2018 21:34

Hi @Justoneme yes I have terrible back pain and have done for weeks now

Helen290 · 10/02/2018 22:25

@Justoneme yes I had it from week 8-9 all day back pain and on and off back pain not severe tho, since then not had any now 11 weeks.

Scoobysue10 · 11/02/2018 00:01

Helen290
Because your not eating as much you will find you won't put on much weight.

Once you get to the 2nd trimester hopefully your food intake will get back to normal and will probably gain weight.
They say allow putting on a stone for baby.

Justoneme · 11/02/2018 08:16

Thanks all ... my pain is severe l; I feel I like I have been kicked in the back by a horse. Think I might go to the hospital today,

ToriaH84 · 11/02/2018 09:39

Hi all, due 23 sept. Went for an early scan just over a week again due to some minor bleeding and 2 previous MC (1 missed). I have a healthy 9 year old DS. Went for my scan and another SCH found, very large, wrapped around the sac. Baby was there measuring slightly smaller but a heartbeat was present. I am sooo worried this is going to end like before. I am having intermittent brown spotting. Had severe MS for 1.5 weeks but seems to be subsiding although I still feel a little nauseous. My boobs are still super sore. I am so worried about this pregnancy, it wasn’t planned but I am dreading my next scan tomorrow to hear those words again

Scoobysue10 · 11/02/2018 13:25

Felt awful earlier. Had a family party last night so didn't get to sleep till about midnight. And was up at 6.30am for work.
Don'tdo to well with lack of sleep.
Couldn't keep anything down all morning.
Seem a bit better at present and have eaten and drunk small amounts.

E9andpregnant · 11/02/2018 17:32

Hi All, first time mom to be here. I think I’m around 8 weeks pregnant and have lot’s of pregnancy symptoms but thankfully not as sick as some of you poor souls - hope things start to get a little easier, sickness and nausea can be dehabillitating. I have my booking in apt next week, nervously excited about it.

Feeling shattered today, I didn’t expect to be THIS tired. I watched what to expect when you’re expecting earlier - eek! I need to do some ironing but I’m soooo tired and sleepless in Seattle is on tv. retreats under blanket on sofa

snowy1982 · 11/02/2018 18:04

@E9andpregnant, congratulations and welcome to our group Smile. I am with you on The tiredness, I was expecting it but not to the extent that I have it.

E9andpregnant · 11/02/2018 18:08

Thanks @snowy - trying to keep my energy levels up by exercising and did a long-ish bike ride today but was exhausted after it. Any excuse to snuggle up this evening.

Ktn35 · 11/02/2018 19:37

@toriah84 hat must be so worrying - just keep thinking positive :)

Ladies - I ate half a cheesecake today (unnecessary overeating make up for lack of wine!) and then realised I am probably not allowed it 😬😬😬 Anyone know the rules?

CrabbyPatty · 11/02/2018 20:09

Based in the NHS food advice I think cheese cake is fine - its usually made from ricotta I think? I've just read properly and I discovered I can eat baked camembert afterall (as long as its cooked steaming hot). I feel cheated that I didn't know this sooner!

Helen290 · 11/02/2018 20:12

@Ktn35 cheesecake is usually made from mascarpone cheese which is ok to eat if unsure google that particular cheese that's what I do with most things.
