Hi everyone 🤰🏻

Helen290 · 11/02/2018 20:18

@Scoobysue10 sorry I sounded stupid when I asked about the weight gain what I meant is I'm eating less but much higher calorie foods so I'm not actually eating less I eat very healthy before but since having these food aversions I don't seem to want anything healthy so that's why I don't get why I'm not gaining weight that's why I asked if it was normal not to gain much in the first trimester.

martinedg · 11/02/2018 20:18

Has anyone tried lemon for sickness?
I'm 8wks tomorrow and dying! If its not heartburn its sickness. Will I ever enjoy this!

Ktn35 · 11/02/2018 21:05

Thanks guys! It's too late now as I ate it 😩!!! It's probably a good thing for me to avoid cheesecake from now on if I am going to snaffle half a cake in one sitting!

I have found grapes good for sickness?! Grapes and fizzy water and crumpets!

Buzzyyellowbee · 11/02/2018 21:11

I feel the same it's seems like forever. I am also at 10 weeks and living in leggings and jogging bottoms. I am dreading putting on my work uniform tomorrow they are like highwaisted trousers I cant do the zip up cause it's I am so bloated! When is your 12 week scan?

cakeanytype · 12/02/2018 09:43

Only thing that stopped my sickness was avomine tablets from doctors

Ktn35 · 12/02/2018 10:09

Eeek. Got my early scan today at 7 weeks 2 days ... so worried about it 😩 xx

niclw · 12/02/2018 12:30

@Ktn35 Good luck.

I've been at my parents house for the last 24 hours. They seem to be a bit more accepting that I'm pregnant than two weeks ago. However they sat me down to talk about how I'm going to do this in my own. Wanted to know all my plans, how I'm going to cope money wise, what I'm going to do with the baby once I go back to work. Once I pointed out that I earn more than many couples do between them, have a good job as a teacher/hod with school holidays off, there's a nursery around the corner from my school that a friend's baby attends and loves, and that I can get childcare vouchers they seemed at bit more on my side.

My mum has started to tell me what I can/can't eat etc. And has instructed me that I cannot have the baby early in September as they won't be able to fly back from lanzarote which they booked the day before I told them and they want to me here for me. So I'm thinking that this is a positive step forward x

Ktn35 · 12/02/2018 13:03

That's brilliant! It sounds like your mum is actually quite excited now?! Xxx

Hi ladies 🤰I’m due on the 5th September. This is my 4th baby. Exhausted and can’t stop eating!! It seems to be the only way to curb my nausea. Have gained sooo much weight already as I only seem to want to eat bread, cheese and biscuits. Great!!

ToriaH84 · 12/02/2018 15:35

I’m feeling like I can get excited now 😍 had scan this morning (2nd early scan), haematoma has almost gone and is underneath baby and we have a very healthy 8 week old with a fab heartbeat 💗 I am sooo happy, I haven’t been able to stop smiling all day 😊

ToriaH84 · 12/02/2018 15:36

@melpops36 I feel your pain! I’m only 8 weeks but looking like 5 months. Can’t stop eating despite constant nausea 🙈

RedRobin7 · 12/02/2018 17:18

I haven't posted much recently - nausea and headaches have kicked in. Finding it hard to make it through my working day. I told my boss today that I'm pregnant - I previously mentioned I was worried about her reaction - she was very happy for me and kept congratulating me. I'm not convinced she will keep it to herself though so I sent a follow up email to say that as discussed on the phone I want it to remain confidential. That's a weight off my shoulders now!

I have my 8 week scan on Saturday. Feeling nervous and excited. Feels like I'm so behind all of you but that's what I get for being due second to last day of September!

greeny506 · 12/02/2018 18:33

Eurgh 7wks3 days here - was doing okay with nausea etc up until yesterday when I couldn't sleep due to horrible ongoing nausea. Spent most of the night by the toilet trying not to vomit but was sick this morning for the first time. Thankfully I was off work today as was meant to be working nights tonight - but had to call in sick as just feel so so sick and horrible. Managed to have some toast and crackers since this morning and trying some soup. I had just bought some anti sickness bands which seemed to be working last week but am now sceptical about!

I am trying to eat little and often but just have no appetite and still feel so nauseated and rubbish....

rdm10 · 12/02/2018 18:35

Hi, mind if I join? I’m 9wks today (although an early scan last week put me at 6+5 but I’m pretty sure of my dates?). Has anyone else just not felt very positive or not felt pregnant? I don’t feel pregnant, didn’t even poas til I was a week late. I’ve had symptoms but they’ve pretty much all gone apart for sore boobs which come and go. I saw a heartbeat last week which should have made it all seem real but the difference in dates made me worry even more. Hopefully I’m just a worrier and everything will be fine 🤞
Sorry for the moany first post.

Marriageoftrueminds · 12/02/2018 18:46

Hi all! Welcome rdm10, congrats. I don’t hane any experience of dating confusion but surely if you saw a heartbeat that’s a great sign?

greeny sorry you’re ill! I’m 7+3 too and haven’t been sick but feel more and more nauseous each day! Eek! x

Ktn35 · 12/02/2018 19:37

Hi! Scan all good! Spot on with dates - 7 weeks 3 days and 139bpm heart rate. So relieved! Congrats to all of you who have just had scans too :) xxxxx

snowy1982 · 12/02/2018 19:49

Yeah for the scan @ktn35 Smile

Ktn35 · 12/02/2018 19:50

Thank you!

snowy1982 · 12/02/2018 19:54

This might be a slightly odd question, but does anyone take pregnacare and if so have you noticed a slight change to your urine colour?

I have noticed lately my urine is more yellow, when I wipe after peeing the toilet paper is quite yellow, only things I think could be causing it is the supplements or the fact I am drinking a lot of diluted orange these days.

Am pretty sure it’s not any spotting/really light blood as if I swap before I pee there is nothing there.

I have another scan at IUI clinic on Friday so will ask then as well and I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about but I do find it a bit odd

RedRobin7 · 12/02/2018 19:57

@snowy1982 Since taking pregnacare I've noticed bright yellow too. It's always worse in the evenings because I take the tablet with my dinner. Other people have told me they've got the same thing so I'm not worried. I drink a lot of water during the day so I don't think it's dehydration or anything.

snowy1982 · 12/02/2018 20:03

@redrobin7 at least i’m not on my own or imagining things Smile mine isn’t bright yellow but definitely more yellow than it ever would have been in the past. I am drinking a lot of water lately so like you I don’t think it’s dehydration

Ktn35 · 12/02/2018 20:12

Think that's quite normal with supplements :) x

niclw · 12/02/2018 20:13

@Ktn35 That's fantastic news about your scan x

ToriaH84 · 12/02/2018 20:18

Mines definitely much more yellow now
