Hey everyone, I'm totally new to this and stumbled across this thread on another google search. This is my second pregnancy after having a missed miscarriage last year, I have been feeling pretty good with very little
Nausea, on and off sore boobs and just slightly more tired as normal as I have a hectic lifestyle. I'm still able to go to the gym etc and it's freaking me out! I had a scan on Sunday at 9weeks 3days and everything was great but the reassurance has already worn off.
Is anyone else have a fairly 'easy' first trimester minus the anxiety lol?

Hi cinnamon, sorry to hear about your MMC that must of been really hard.

I am 11 weeks on Friday and on the most part have felt fine, sore boobs and tiredness, trapped wind and sometimes feeling a bit queasy when hungry or when I first get up but on the grand scheme of things I feel like normal! Definitely no crazy sickness or nausea. This is my first pregnancy and I have found the anxiety and worrying a bit over whelming at times, I had an early scan at 7 weeks and everything was fine but the wait till my 12 week scan has been aweful. I’m glad to hear your early scan went well too, have you told anyone you are pregnant yet?

Thank you BeeKnees yeah it was a grim time and although you try not to keep going back to it it's a constant worry at the back of your mind. But it's good to hear that others aren't overwhelmed by symptoms and my doctor and the nurses keep telling me to count myself lucky but in a way if I was throwing up I think o would strangely feel better. I have only told my family and 2/3 close friends! I'm glad your scan went well :) but I agree the anxiety can be overwhelming. I don't have my 12week scan until 23/2 and it's gona drive me insane but I think I'm gona have to learn to sit with the anxiety 🙈🙈

I have faint brown on my tissue when I wipe today too. It's awful. Trying so hard to rationalise it. Did people call the doctors when it happened to them?

I have this as well this morning as well as really bad cramps last night that woke me up. I also had bleeding two weeks again and ended up in A&E, had a scan and the nurse told me it is quite common as thing as moving/rubbing/stretching so I'm trying to tell myself not to panic too much this morning

@Ktn35 I had it twice and it was all fine but good yo get checked for your own peace of mind. The doctor said it's only worrying if red blood and lots.... I went to the early pregnancy unit (referred by doctor) and they were great.

I have had enough now. Can not carry on.
Waiting for doctor to phone back. Been so Ill this past wk. Was bad yesterday and still feel so Ill. Not managing to eat.

I'm so sorry for those of you who are feeling so poorly, I feel guilty that I don't feel too bad, other than tired and sore back & hips I generally feel fine

It's a worry not having bad symptoms,with both my girls I didn't feel well at all. This one at 5+4 I felt horiffic now I'm 7+2 I don't feel at all bad,tiredness,aching but no sickness xx

Scan showed sac and fetal pole where it should be so no ectopic this time! Couldn't see heartbeat yet because I'm 1 or 1.5 ish weeks behind what I thought. Going back in 2 weeks. There was no blood in or around sac so they don't think I'm miscarrying. Don't feel so worried about not having many symptoms now.

I ovulated on the 3rd of Jan so maybe the egg implanted later than my LMP dates would suggest? Am I clutching at straws?

The first thing happened to me at my first scan- went back ten days later and there was a heartbeat fluttering away! The nurse told me I had just ovulated later than I thought and my dates were off by about a week :)! Good luck xxx

Hi ladies! I’m 10 weeks and by the afternoon I look like I’m 30 weeks! As soon as I eat anything I just bloat right up like a balloon....I wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t so bloody uncomfortable / downright painful!

Hi @littlemisssunshine81 congratulations! I have the exact same thing - is it your first?

I’d definitely call the doctor for brown blood/discharge, even for the reassurance x

I’m unsure of actual dates as I haven’t had a period since Sept, I had a MC in Dec so I put my LMP as my last day of bleeding (the day we started doing the deed again) and that’d make me 7+5 today.

@Snowy1982 I am the same, I will be 11 weeks for my booking in appt. I have been told by a friend my area is always running late on appts and I will probably be 14-15w by the time I get my scan appt. My booking is is at home too with the community midwife / health visitor, so I doubt I will be getting anything on the day.

@Marriageoftrueminds I had some at 7 weeks that was very dark red and very much like ovulation egg whitey and I was told that was normal

@samanthajonespr it also depends on the length of your cycle.

@littlemisssunshine81 yep, I have been feeling like this for the past week or two :( I was searching it today and by the time the bloat goes down you will have a bump in its place. No rest for the wicked ;)

Doctor gave me some anti sickness tablets yesterday. Tested urine and dehydrated which I knew as tested urine at work on Monday to check for infection.

Threw up the first tablet but managed to keep a further two down last night. Still felt so sick in the evening though. Have taken tablet this morning and hoping for a better day. Actually feel like I could eat some breakfast.

@81louise, I honestly think they overlooked (forgot) my initial referral, I think it’s too much of a coincidence that the day I emailed them to follow up is the exact day my appointment was issued. They got my email and realised they fucked up

Thanks everyone. The brown spotting cleared up by lunchtime and as it was so minimal I have decided to leave it. I seem to have all the other symptoms still and have an early scan Monday so fingers crossed it will all be ok 👍🏽 :) xxx

Just had my booking in appointment with the midwife. It went okay but I have ketones and protein in my urine from being dehydrated. I can't really help being dehydrated due to the sickness and nausea so not sure what I'm supposed to do?

Had my booking in appointment today. They don't want to do a urine sample till 16 weeks but I had my bloods taken. Feels so real now. I felt so bad not knowing all my family history but with not telling my dad yet I just don't know and I've never met half of my relatives.
