Anyone getting bad ass mood swings!? This morning I chucked the washing up around cos there was no flour for my pancakes 😂😂😂

Tidloo · 04/02/2018 10:34

@rosegeorgia21- that made me giggle! Sorry! No mood swings here atm but I do remember avoiding my sister because she was a nightmare to be around in the first trimester.

I've mass

Tidloo · 04/02/2018 10:36

Sorry- pressed send too quickly.

I've massively gone off all food and drink- including water. Have constant nausea which is made worse by food smells or anyone mentioning food. Am having to force myself to eat atm :/ the nurse checked my pee last week and said I needed to drink a lot more water- is anyone else experiencing something similar? No cravings so far.

niclw · 04/02/2018 11:10

Midwife has just left. I don't think I have any blood left in me now as she took so many vials. She told me that I can be booked into the birthing suite at the hospital as I'm low risk so can hopefully get the water birth I want.

Turns out that they have stopped all antenatal classes other than hypnobirthing in my area so my only option is to pay for nct. I cant do hypnobirthing due to complications with birthing partner.

Scoobysue10 · 04/02/2018 11:34

Tidloo.
I am 10wks now. I started feeling sick around 6wks. I have gone off most foods. Can't stand cooking. Have go one off meat.
I also don't drink enough on my bad days as can only manage black tea and fizzy drinks. On my good days I do try and drink lots of water. I am feeling sick most days which gets worse in the evenings. Am sick sometimes but mainly just feeling sick.
I feel your pain I really do.

CrabbyPatty · 04/02/2018 12:59

I'm getting moody and irritable (just like PMT). Not really tearful though. I looked a bit showy last night (not sure if it was the dress shape) - I'm petite size 6-8 UK so not sure if I'm more likely to show early? I know it could be just bloat (we did have pizza) and I'm super windy! Friends are starting to ask why I'm not drinking and one even pulled my husband aside last night to ask him if I was pregnant. I think people may feel offended that we've lied to them, but i'm not sure they will get that they are all individuals in a big group. I've not told my sister yet, who doesn't live nearby so is unlikely to guess, but I'll feel bad if random mates know before her.

Helen290 · 04/02/2018 13:17

@Ktn35 I am 10 weeks pregnant and a size 8 i am 5"5 and I have hard belly even my husband has said my belly has changed in shape and that's when I wake up before food lol.

bitzy12 · 04/02/2018 14:09

I've just come especially to my mums house for her to make me a sandwich.....all I wanted was one of her sandwiches. I ate it and it was amazing.....ten minutes later I start feeling like it's all going to come back up.

My mum said 'let's talk about something to keep your mind off it'

I'm sat there with my head in my hands trying to get over the nausea and my mums next sentence is:

'How do you feel about sterilisation?'

Really not the time mother.....Hmm

Scoobysue10 · 04/02/2018 16:25

Today has been a better day.
Have actually eaten some meat today. Had a chicken sandwich for lunch and just eating some cereal as a little hungry.
Actually done some house work today. Not been feeling up to it lately.

SeattleKate · 04/02/2018 17:39

@Penguin34 I'm the same way--I had one miscarriage at 4+3 and one at 5+2 and I've been totally paranoid this time round! I've been trying to focus on remembering that the odds are very much in our favour, the mostly likely outcome is a healthy baby in September!

Helen290 · 04/02/2018 18:31

Has anyone else who is 10 weeks pregnant found that their discharge has increased? Sorry TMI .

snowy1982 · 04/02/2018 18:36

@helen290, not 10 weeks here but discharge has been all over the place since BFP. At the beginning lots of watery discharge, now it’s alternating between days of no discharge, days of very watery and days of small bits of creamy discharge.

Scoobysue10 · 04/02/2018 19:19

Helen290.
Yes got the discharge thing going on.
Some days it's thicker than others.

Helen290 · 04/02/2018 19:42

@Scoobysue10 @snowy1982 yeh I seem to have more some days then others but recently it's been more then at the beginning I read that's apparently normal.

Tidloo · 04/02/2018 20:49

@Scoobysue10- big, big hug my lovely. It's such a pain. I'm feeling more fatigued than normal because I'm not eating/drinking enough. I'm a big foodie and this symptom has really been a massive kick in the teeth. Ive gone off everything. The past couple of days have included forcing myself to have a slice of toast, a bowl of bran flakes and jacket potatoes with beans or variations of those. I've not been out to eat in ages because I'm not sure what I'll be in the mood for or whether or not I'll like it when it arrives! We've got an open plan flat and I avoid the kitchen/lounge area as much as I can because of the stale food air 😭

Scoobysue10 · 04/02/2018 22:27

Tidloo.
I was like that with my first. Couldn't stand the smell of food being cooked at home and everytime I opened the fridge I remember it stank really bad. Obviously it didn't but it did to me. It's horrible. I just let myself get over hungry and ended up being sick. So now drinking some milk and eating ginger biscuits before I go to bed.
This is late for me. Normally fast asleep by now.

81louise · 04/02/2018 22:54

I'm 7+4 and apart for a ball at the back of my throat I don't feel sick. I am drinking a lot to get rid of the feeling though.

We are back at epau on Friday, time feels like it is dragging, but I am quite confident now :O I did my second digital test on the day of my first visit to epau and got 2-3 weeks. I have done a few ovulations ones that I have left and the test strip is showing up quicker than the one that says it's worked, so I am pretty confident.

Rather annoyed that my final wisdom tooth has fired up, so ended up at the dentist! and on antibiotics and the occasional paracetamol ( normally at night so I can sleep.

Any one have phantom smells and tinnatus? I think the tinnatus is due to the wisdom tooth and swelling and hope once the swelling goes down that it goes!

Is anyone else self employed? I have been looking at my options and Its a little scary.

Kiztok · 05/02/2018 08:01

Yes I'm self employed and it's a worry for me too 🙁

Helen290 · 05/02/2018 08:19

Feeling yucky today and felt crap all over the weekend I can eat but a lot of foods I just can't stand gone off a lot of things it's more the constant nausea I will be glad for this to improve just getting nervous now I have my 12 week scan next week I just hope everything is ok 🤞🏻🙏🏻, just so scared if it's not I just want this week to go fast!.

snowy1982 · 05/02/2018 08:21

I’m in a half way point between self employed and employed. I am technically employed, I am a director and shareholder in the company I work for, so while I will get full pay when on maternity, I can’t actually take a proper maternity leave. I am hoping to manage 1 full month at least of total leave, no emails or anything, after that I will need to switch the emails on and start working again

littleostrich · 05/02/2018 10:24

I'm self employed too. I'm not TOO worried as this is my second pregnancy so I do have the benefit of knowing things worked out last time, but it's still a bit stressful.

On a different note, I feel like I can't stop eating! I have definitely gone off certain foods and smells, but I have a constant feeling of mild nausea and my brain seems to think "that might pass if I eat something". Carbs carbs carbs...

rosegeorgia21 · 05/02/2018 11:15

Girls can you help me!? I'm 8+4 and I've just today got a really dull ache at the top of my stomach! I can't help but panic I don't know what it is, I miscarried before at 11+3 so I'm so worried anyway I just dunno if anyone has had anything like this?? X

Kiztok · 05/02/2018 11:27

@rosegeorgia21 I've had a dull lower back and abdomen ache for about a week, I've not had any spotting though
Spoke to my gp and she said if it doesn't go away and I get spotting then contact them ASAP
Ive still got it but it's not like agony just annoying? Feel like I'd be wasting their time 😕
Is yours similar?

rosegeorgia21 · 05/02/2018 11:32

@Kiztok no back pain at all .. it's just at the bottom of my rib cage feels a bit like I've been punched. If it doesn't improve il ring my local EPAC centre the ladies there are amazing and will help me x

Helen290 · 05/02/2018 11:45

@rosegeorgia21 I had all sorts of aches and pains at 7-8 weeks then and on and off I had a scan at 8 and everything was fine now In my 11 weeks and it's stopped only very occasional I think it's just things growing, how bad is the pain?
