Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

@rosegeorgia21 sorry to hear about your loss 😔, but congratulations!!! 🙂.
The worry never stops I just think you learn to cope with it and try and enjoy it as much as you can 🙂.

Scoobysue10 · 29/01/2018 16:43

Helen290. I am eating better lately apart from yesterday when I felt quite ill. I am preferring takeaways to cooking though. Just enjoyed a bar of Cadburys whole nut. Was so nice.

rosegeorgia21 · 29/01/2018 16:54

@Helen290 yeah that's what I'm trying to do. Trying not to get my hopes up to much. Fingers crossed this time everything will be ok! X

Kiztok · 29/01/2018 17:12

Has anybody had any hip, lower back and lower tummy pain? Came on all of sudden when driving into town earlier today (I'm 5 weeks 4 days) x

Helen290 · 29/01/2018 17:31

@Scoobysue10 I really can't stand any chocolate at the moment, or anything except crumpets i seem to like today lol, I have even gone of takeaways lol 😂.

Helen290 · 29/01/2018 17:32

@rosegeorgia21 fingers crossed we will all be ok 🙂.

rosegeorgia21 · 29/01/2018 17:38

@Helen290 mmmm crumpets !!!! I'm in Italy at the moment and I'm just missing English food so bad !!!! Got me thinking about crumpets!! X

niclw · 29/01/2018 17:42

Hi everyone. I've had a lot of cramping today but I think it's probably a result of bring upset so much yesterday and still struggling with my parents reaction today. I've decided not to get in touch with them and hope that they are just trying to get their heads round it so will get in touch when they are ready. It's very difficult trying to teach while on the verge of tears though. Thank you for all you support over the last 24 hours x

Hi! I haven't really commented this but I feel a need to share my positive news!

I had a scare that my little bean wasn't growing, I found out I was pregnant about 3 weeks ago and I guesstimated I was around 3 weeks at that point. My last period was (start date) 14 Dec and I do have irregular cycles due to the pill etc so I'm unsure when I ovulated but based on a 28 day cycle right now I'd be 7 weeks Thursday.

Anyway! I had spotting (brown and light pink) only slightly and 0 cramping however I was worried sick thinking the worst. I went to the epu last Thursday who said I was measuring under 5 weeks which worried me even more as they couldn't see an embryo as they said I was too early so they booked me in at the epu again in 2 weeks (in the meantime I'm sat here worried believing my baby stopped growing).

Last week on tuesday I did a clear blue which said I was 2-3 which worried me as I thought I was further on, today I did another and it says 3+ which means bean is growing 😊 so happy!

Sorry for the long post I just feel so much more happier and I wanted to be able to get it off my chest!

Hope everyone is doing well and I bet we all can't wait to get out the 1st trimester it seems so long and constantly anxious.

I'm due as per my first midwife appointment today 20th of sept however this all depends if I'm based off my last period Smile is this anyone's first?

Kiztok · 29/01/2018 18:03

@MissSophieB397 yep my first one and I can't get over how every little twinge worries me 🙈 12 weeks can't come quick enough
So glad your mind is a little bit more at ease x

rosegeorgia21 · 29/01/2018 18:25

@Llondbol oh darling I'm so sorry 😪 just remember it's beyond your control and you can try again. I went through the same in the summer. ❣️ hugs to you darling. Xox

Ktn35 · 29/01/2018 18:26

How weird! All I have been eating is crumpets for the last two weeks! Cramps are still there but i’m used to them now and worry less - don’t know if that is reassuring to anyone?! Anyone else getting heart palpitations?! Is this normal? X

Kiztok · 29/01/2018 18:32

@Llondbol I'm so sorry xxxx

Helen290 · 29/01/2018 18:40

@rosegeorgia21 do it!!! Lol definitely worth it lol 😂🤓

MissSophieB397 · 29/01/2018 18:42

@Kiztok its such a long wait but it's all worth it for a healthy baby. Just hope I definitely will have development when I'm next at epu 😊 xx

Helen290 · 29/01/2018 19:09

@Llondbol 💐 so sorry for your news xxx

snowy1982 · 29/01/2018 19:56

@Llondbol, so sorry for your loss. Look after yourself and get some TLC and rest Flowers

Scoobysue10 · 29/01/2018 20:11

Llondbol, I am so very sorry to hear your news.
This has actually made me cry. Sending big hugs to you and you look after yourself.
Your time will come. Don't ever give up hope. Xx

Scoobysue10 · 29/01/2018 20:15

Helen290. I went off chocolate for a while like most things.
But have started eating chocolate again. Although think the bar was too much as brought some of it back up .

Ktn35 · 29/01/2018 20:18

@londbol I’m so sorry for your loss xxxxx

pregnantandfierce · 29/01/2018 20:21

@rose - I miscarried 6 months ago and know how you feel but have decided stressing about it won’t change the outcome favorably, easier said than done I know.

@llond - so sorry, sending you hugs. Take all the support you need from your family and friends and look after yourself.

@misssophie - yay, amazing news and a great relief I’m sure. Now you can hopefully relax a little and enjoy the pregnancy.

I’ve been experiencing dizziness and nausea today. Eating fruit somewhat staved it off. I haven’t had crumpets in an age, I’m not craving them. Crumpets with low-low cheese spread is amazing!

I felt a little low this morning having received an abusive text from the ex. We’ve chatted today and I feel a little better. Early I know but I’ve alao been looking at childcare options as I need to figure out how I’ll do this alone with a very demanding job. I found a crèche that is super flexible and with great hours so I feel soooooo much better now.

Helen290 · 29/01/2018 20:49

@Scoobysue10 feeling awful tonight couldn't manage my dinner just gone to bed hoping tomorrow might be a little better.
