Hey everyone I thought I'd start a thread for September babies!

I've found out I was pregnant yesterday which was amazing! I'm a first time mum so I'm new to all of this, conceived cycle 2.

When should I contact GP to confirm pregnancy, has anyone got any advice this early on?

Can I jump in? Got my BFP on Christmas day so due 6th Sept. So far we've told parents and siblings, it's been a cramp year so figure everyone could do with some good news! I managed to get through to the midwife on the 10th phone call (no GP visit neccessary here). Ahhh so exited! Congrats to all on here 🍾

@charlie1234567 congrats to you! Yep, first one for us. It's taken a while but got there eventually! DH still thinks it's funny that I went from "yay pregnant" to "crap, no alcohol, cheese or pate over Christmas" in less than 5 minutes 😁

4 weeks today and I seem to have been hit by evening sickness! Feel exactly how I do when I start to get travel sick. Not that I'm complaining of course! And it'll come in as a handy excuse for why I won't be drinking tonight has anyone else had many symptoms yet?

I've been feeling nauseous for the past few days, it's seems to come and go though. Hoping it doesn't get any worse. My boobs are also on fire...ive had to switch to non wired bras already!

Mine seems to have come and gone through the day too! Just noticed it's got worse the last hour or so! I was lying in bed feeling like the room was spinning last night too! My boobs are ok so far, but they did feel heavy when I took my bra off last night!

Welcome fluffy and baubles! Wow the group is really filling up now.

Morning sickness is such a silly name since it seems to hit at random times. Some mornings I feel quite energetic, sometimes I feel hungover. Right now I can’t face eating anything but will probably be ravenous later.

Don't believe my luck. Walking down the stairs to go out, and I've just slipped and fell down them. I went smacking right down onto the bone just above my bum which is now really hurting. I'm now so worried

With the first I fell down concrete stairs on the marble floor!
My ankle came out of place. Hubby had to carry me upstairs (I was abroad) tested a few days later and I was pregnant

I've not really felt much in terms of symptoms apart from I've got nicer skin and I had the runs yesterday lol

Congrats everyone on the bfp! I think my edd is around the 10th September

Off to a New Years party schleor (sp?) in hand :) me and hubby are going to be saving lots on taxi fares now with me being a happy designated driver !

Estimated DD is 10th September but obviously it's very early days

Literally as soon as new year hit I was in the bathroom throwing up. Very random, had a pain and then just out of no where, other than that I feel ok.
Think it was a reminder that its not gonna be an easy year. Ha.
Our babies will be born this year though! X

You poor thing Fia. Your baby should be ok though. It’s well protected and it’s lucky you landed on your arse! Maybe you’ve got a bruised coccyx? I had one when I drunkenly fell off a swing and oh god it’s painful. Even with a massive bum to cushion me.

I think it's definitely either bruised or fractured @dingdongdigeridoo. Can't move without the searing pain, even coughing is causing agony! Have rang 111 and explained the situation so waiting on a call back! What a way to start the year!

Very aches at times!

Hi everyone! I took my test today (managed to hold out until overdue AF) and BFP!! EDD 9th Sept!
My first was due 6th Sept so not too far apart birthdays me thinks! Oops!!

What did they say fia?

My back has been hurting (lower back) on and off most of the day.
Doesn't help I went walking round in heels before 🤔 .

111 just said to ice pack every 3/4 hours and that I could take paracetamol. For some reason I had it in my head you couldn't before 12 weeks, but I've lasted the last 24 hours without it so I'd rather keep going without for now! She also said not to worry about baby as it will be very padded out in there and it won't affect the pregnancy which is a relief!

I'm constantly thirsty here

Me too lostmybaubles, i’ve had about 3 litres of diluted orange today. I am normally a BIG Diet Coke drinker so am cutting that way back to reduce caffeine and constantly on the dilute instead, it can only be a good thing though I prob don’t drink enough water normally

I've got no dilute left in the house 😭😭😭😭

Literally had atleaat 3 litres today and I feel like I'm thirsty

Just got into bed and I'm going to have to bloody get up for water
