Babies due May 2018

There was a thread here on babies due in May but for some reason it’s been closed. Anyone is due then?

Just been told baby is lying back to back any tips on how to get them to turn?

@Lou0390 at my antenatal classes they said when ever you lay down just never lay on your back always on a side as this can make them turn and bouncing on a birthing balls can help make them move too but they did say the baby will only turn when they're awake.

@Fizzysx thanks I am currently sat on my ball and going to make sure I sleep on my left side. It's all good fun!

Does anyone know when the hospital ring to tell you your c section date? I'm supposed to be having one next week (39 weeks) and they still haven't rang! Stressing me out slightly because 1) I've got to make a special trip to the hospital a few days before just to get my bloods done and 2) I've got to arrange child care and get things ready for my little boy.
Not to mention I have my grandads funeral 2 weeks today or tomorrow (fully aware I may not be up to going and that I shouldn't push myself to go but I'm going to try if I can)
Would it be worth ringing them to ask?
My midwife said they usually book you in for 39 or 39+1 so I thought i should be getting a phone call today or tomorrow at the latest!

Is anyone else having period type pains? I've had them for the last few days now and I'm losing bits of my mucus plug too.
Having LOADS of pressure down there too.

Yep I've been getting period type pains for a while and regular tightenings (hoping just very strong braxton hicks) I just need to keep him in until c-section tomorrow!!

I'm still waiting for a date 😕😤 I'm 39 weeks on Tuesday and was told I'd be booked in for 39 or 39+1 but I've still heard nothing. Starting to get stressed!

Yeah I didn't get booked in until last week so if I were you I would chase them up! I'm going to be 38+6 tomorrow - they didn't have any slots available the whole of my 39th week!

Feeling ok thanks, very excited, nervous because it's obvs a big op, but can't wait for new baby snuggles tomorrow. Good luck with getting your date sorted!!

I rang yesterday, told someone would ring back and they haven't 😕 I'm going to ring again later. I don't like to pester them but I've got things to arrange and sort out.

Hi guys!

I'm 36+2 and today the midwife said that the baby's head is 3/5 engaged.

I'm getting dull period pains occasionally too. I'm hoping she stays for the 37 week mark next Tuesday!
