There was a thread here on babies due in May but for some reason it’s been closed. Anyone is due then?

@Counter27 thank you I'm 35 weeks she's coming mine at 37 weeks to write my birthing plan with me then I'm due to see her again at 39 weeks. Just annoys me as she's given me false hope just have my fingers crossed my iron levels are high enough to go in birthing center now as had my heart set on it will feel disappointed if I can't now. I know birthing plans never really go as planned but still. Definitely might be worth seeing if I can change midwife now.

If you want to change then try and do it just now so you have some time to get to know your new midwife and write your birth plan together. Good luck!

Well 38 weeks today and I am officially fed up and just want to have this baby. The heat and a grumpy 2.5 year old are not helping.
We were in hospital until 3am this morning thinking it was all starting, lost part of my plug, back ache and period cramps and then it all stops and sent home
Hope you are all doing well? Anyone else officially fed up?

Fed up here too! I'm sick of wearing leggings, nothing else fits 😂 my bump just looks like a ball shoved up my top.
Lost quite a lot of my plug a few days ago, and I have so much pressure down there it's unbelievable. Groin pain. Weeing every 10 minutes, even my husband has started to say 'you're not seriously going for a wee again are you?' 😂
The pain to turn over or get out bed is unbearable. So, I'm hoping this time in 2 weeks we'll have a baby here!!

38+1 here same as you Lou? I’m fed up but not a labour preparation symptom in sight, just like with my 2 weeks late and induced son 10 years ago. I’m not holding out much hope of a spontaneous labour.

The urge to wee is awful though, fine one minute and oh so desperate the next! Had not been sleeping well but went to bed much earlier last night which really helped. I wish he would just come

The lack of sleep is getting really difficult... must gave drifted off just after 11pm and was up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep til 6.30am. Argh!

We haven't got long now. I'm the same not sleeping and having terrible lower back and groin pain x

Yesterday (and so far this morning) she just hasn't stopped moving! I love it but at the same time it's soooo intense! Sometimes I have to just sit there and take it cause I can't do anything else! And the pains to my cervix... Jeez! Suxh sharp pains! It's like she's beating me up from the inside 😂❤

Sounds like we are all feeling the same. The lack of sleep is so frustrating!
I took the dog for a 10min trot this morning to as I've heard it can help....well now I've got muscle pain, fanny daggers and need to wee every 5 mins . Oh the joy.

@Lou0390 😂 I went for two longer walks yesterday to try and help and it did the opposite of help for me too. The pelvic pain afterwards was horrible!

Also 'morning' sickness back in the third trimester?! Not fair!

Yep, totally agree! Been having cramping at bottom of bump and feeling quite sick if I get overtired. Only 35+1 but it's a milestone for me as son was born at 35+0 so this is the most pregnant I've ever been!! Can't see this baby hanging on another 5 weeks, it seems so low.

@Counter27 oh no the pelvic pain is just meh. Bath and pain killers help a bit. There is so much I want to get done around the house but have resigned myself to sitting on my medicine ball and catching up on rubbish tv

5th of May but being induced on the 28th of April as my bub is to chunky😂

Found my people. I'm 38 weeks and three days. Been having niggles last few days. Plug coming away, stomach cramps and upset stomach, plus contractions over night. But I had all this with ds2 and he wasn't born until almost 40 weeks, albeit very very quickly (paramedic delivery).

Kate is in labour and I'm jealous!

At least the sun is shining (well here at least) and the end is in sight

@Chipsahoy hope the niggles turn into something. I've been having them all day but still nothing. Back to the hospital tomorrow for a growth scan but they don't seem that concerned if it's small and that growth as become static.....

Well waters broke in the middle of the night and looks like I'm in early labour! Still preterm but not by much.

It's bloody painful already...

I'm getting quite impatient now but trying to focus on the fact that in 3 weeks or so I'll have the baby.
Is anyone else still working? I've got this week left - will be nearly 39w when I finish.

I've been having period like pains since yesterday. Told DH to keep his phone with him and not put it down today. I'm very irritable today already too and it's only 7am 😫

I'm still working but last shift Sunday thank goodness as people are really starting to irritate me with stupid questions or the daily bump check people are doing and every day saying not long now. I know they are just trying to be nice but it does get annoying.

Last few weeks I keep having a funny taste in my mouth as anyone else have this?

Had 3 massive contractions yesterday, but I think they were just down to all the walking I done 😣
