Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

@Peanutty86 my FMU is my weakest sample it's not uncommon apparently!

@Hulaballoo I am glad to hear others getting the weird pulling too mine is particularly on my right side.

For those asking about early test, I trained as a midwife before and whilst pregnant with my DD, so I cheated and just rang up the midwife and knew that if I said I had acute pain in one side they would want me in for an internal scan and they said no problem come in and we will do a scan (if u ring and just ask for one you won't get one unless you have symptoms of eptopic or have a serious history of MC), I may get some stick for it but I will do it again with this pregnancy, around 6/7 weeks as I like to see the heartbeat as the risk of MC is greatly reduce when the HB is detected (although still sadly possible). At this point we will be telling our DD who is 4 as I won't be able to hold out till 12 weeks keeping it secret (as I do a lot of contact sport) and we want her to be the first to be told.

Hi everyone :) Long-time lurker on Mumsnet for advice on un-baby related things, found out I was pregnant this morning!

Age: 30
Baby: first!
TTC: 1 month
Due date: 5 July 2018

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 09:49

Congratulations @DoubleEspresso22 xx

Peanutty86 · 26/10/2017 10:10

Welcome and congratulations @DoubleEspresso22!

@lgh05 that’s so good to hear, you have just really calmed me down so much! Thank you! (Do your boobs hurt? Mind don’t and I’m worrying about that now....)

I’ll be going to Germany in two weeks tomorrow and will have a scan there. I’ll hopefully be 6+3 then, hoping to see a heart beat but just want to k is everything is in the right place.

@igh05 thanks will try that

Congrats @double

@peanutty I’m also having very little boob pain just occasionally however last time I was pregnant when I miscarried I had it all the time. Weird how the body works!

18mnthsandcounting · 26/10/2017 11:17

Ladies let me know how all your early scans go :) I’m thinking of booking mine for 8 weeks although that is still 4 weeks away!!

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 11:33

@DoubleEspresso22 welcome! @Peanutty86 my boobs are mildly painful, sometimes I'm not even sure I can feel it or if it's in my head as it's so mild.. Tender. Nipples aren't really sore. With mmc my boobs were on fire, it hurt taking my top of at night... I'm just seeing that this time it's a different pregnancy. I'm tired today... Can't be bothered to do anything, luckily dc are getting on with each other today and playing with play dough ... Making me ice cream play dough 😛

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 11:36

Will do @18mnthsandcounting ...I know as times ticks on, it'll gives me peace of mind. @lgh05 the epu also advised that next time I fall pregnant to complain of side pain as it had been 2nd MC and with my 2nd Dd I had a couple of bleeds... So just for reassurance to go in early. Definitely doing that. 👍

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 12:01

@Hulaballoo yeah I won't be taking no for answer. Although in my area I have one 2 one midwives available which I will self refer tomorrow if/when I get my BFP, and apparently they are more than happy to do multiple scans as it's essentially private health care. So hoping I don't have to battle for extra scans.

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 12:02

My boobs aren't anything unusual at the moment a tad tender probably similar to when AF is due

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 13:36

Ooh how do I find out about one 2 one midwives? It's been 7 years since my last bubba. 😲

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 13:52

@Hulaballoo it's just luck as to where you live if you google it you can see what areas are covered

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 14:28

Aww shame they're not in my area. 🙁

Winterfellismyhome · 26/10/2017 14:52

Any advice on when to tell work? My job is safety critical Confused

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 16:39

If your job is physical or involves chemicals/ fumes I would let them know asap... Maybe just your main line manager...?

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 18:01

Still getting this weird pulling stitch sensation, and had no sign of AF showing! She is due tomorrow. Getting a bit nervous for my test tomorrow!

Somethininthewater · 26/10/2017 18:23

When did you last test igh?

Somethininthewater · 26/10/2017 18:38

I’ve just treated myself to a twin pack of frer. Popped in to Asda, secreted the pack underneath shampoo, chocolate, etc. Went to the diy checkout, you know, to be discreet. All went smoothly until I walked out of the store AND SET OFF THE ALARMS !!!!!!!Shock couldnt bloody believe it!! Walked over to the customer service desk where a lady searched my bag! Obviously saw ‘the Offending Item’(there’s an anti theft sticker on the frer!) and said ‘go on love. Just walk out’. Holy fuck! 😂

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 18:43

Pmsl 😂@Somethininthewater

@lgh05 I'm sure pulling is normal. 🙂xx

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 19:07

@Somethininthewater that is so so funny! You poor thing!! Haha! It's like punishment for being addicted to POAS

I last tested Wednesday morning, I've done like 6 test in total and have had 5 very faint lines. The ones I have tomorrow are digital but I think if they don't show BFP il go mad and go out and buy loads (if AF isn't here) and DH will be fine with the POAS situation as he will want to know a definitive answer too, he just didn't like me doing all the early test before I missed AF!

Somethininthewater · 26/10/2017 19:22

Karma was definitely against me!! I thought about just legging it out of the shop, but then thought what if I got rugby tackled to the ground by security?! I’d be in tomorrows local paper, then the Metro! Hardly discreet is it! Haha
Well I’m testing tomorrow and will be slightly disheartened —utterly devastated— if it’s negative!!

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 19:49

I feel the same!!! Just praying for a straight forward positive! Will be up at the crack of dawn testing no doubt!

Somethininthewater · 26/10/2017 20:14

Me too! Be sure to come here to report our findings! 🕵🏼‍♀️

Somethininthewater · 26/10/2017 20:15

You’ve already had positives haven’t you?

Winterfellismyhome · 26/10/2017 20:43

@Hulaballoo thank you. I don't work with any chemicals. Its mainly customer facing. Just mean in terms of getting time off for appointments/when I'm feeling crap. I've got a dr appointment next week so maybe after that
