Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

I didn’t realize that for you in the U.K., 12 wks is the first scan you get. That’s a long wait. I live in the US; they saw me for the first time last week at 8.5 and did a trans-vaginal ultrasound- didn’t look like a baby but certainly clear that there is a bean growing, with a heart beat. Not that health care here is a great bargain of course Grin

Hi all, excited as got my hospital appointment letter through this week which will be 8 and a bit weeks, it says I won't be having a scan then which I wouldn't expect but just wondered if I'll get another letter about the scan or if it gets booked when I go to the hospital? Anxious for it and worried it'll be later than 12 weeks x

Congratulations @18months great news. I'm hoping for similar reassurance from my private scan next week. It's hard to wait so long not knowing what's going on in there.

@Windowgazer I have booked a Harmony test for next week, when I will be (I think - cycle length not totally predictable)10+1.

@Hannknitted Doing the same thing for the same reasons - would be so nice to be able to announce at Christmas, and otherwise symptoms/non-drinking will be a dead giveaway (in particular my continued tea aversion - tea is usually my lifeblood). I'm 12 weeks on 26 Dec.

I had thought the nausea might be abating slightly, but last week was tough - following on from projectile vomiting all over my morning train to work on Tuesday, I had to catch a plane on Friday which did not go well! Was violently ill twice on the plane and 4 times that evening once I'd reached my friends' house... they politely pretended to believe the "terrible motion sickness" story... I've never had even the slightest twinge of motion sickness in my life before, I can read and travel backwards and everything, but not with this little bean apparently. At least planes come with sickness bags making it an altogether more dignified affair. I've now got a spare plane sick bag in my handbag for emergencies! I can avoid pubic transport most of the time, don't know what I would do if I had to do it twice a day in this condition.

Hey guys ! How are you all doing ? I'm just over 7 weeks now and def starting to get a bit of morning sickness (which I'm weirdly a bit relieved about as at least it feels like things must be progressing a bit even if that's not really very accurate ) but not too bad and very intermittent so far . Have fallen asleep at 9 a few times too but that might just be me using the pregnancy as an excuse to unleash my laziness :p .

Getting a private scan on 23rd so two weeks time - wish time would hurry up as really want to know that everything is ok! All being well we have both sets of parents and siblings over for Christmas so hoping to be able to able to tell good news! (My mum already knows and is desperate to tell my dad but sworn to secrecy!)

Hi all, I'm new to mumsnet.
I'm 36 years old and 11wks pregnant with my third.
My due date is 18th July 🤗
My son is 19 and my daughter will be 18 when baby no.3 comes along.
I had an early scan at 6 wks due to bleeding, and a follow up scan at 7 wks. So relieved everything was fine. All we could see tho was a white blob with a pulsing heartbeat. Due my 12 wks scan just after the new year.
I have a few medical issues which means my pregnancy will be closely monitored by an OB at hospital but on the bright side I should get to see my baby more often with all the extra scans 😀

PenguinChristmas · 28/12/2017 16:26

After some drama last hubby (bleeding again 😣) I had a scan they dated me 12+5 so pulled my dating scan forward to today because they were worried I’d be outside the timescales otherwise.

Baby was dancing and waving due 07/07/2018
